"I built it myself!" cheers Dimble, appearing to stand a little taller (even though in reality he's still a bit under 4 feet). "But anyways, do you have any idea where we could look for the Winter Father first?" he says, after spending a few seconds basking in his success.
Elafir is quite surprised by the Yeti's appearance but does not really care who is letting them in as long as he gets out of the cold. 'Did he say toymakers?' he thinks while others show their crafts. He knew he should have questioned the vague letter. 'Well, now I'm here so might as well find out what this is all about.'
He sits down and thanking takes a bowl and some tea. While others show off their work, he keeps back and listens silently. A weapon like his surely did not make for a good toy.
"I'm willing to find this Winter Father of yours, if it helps our chances of getting some work. Though I must say, I'm not keen to go back on that freezing nutshell of a boat."
Elafir was just guiding another spoon full of stew to his mouth when the gnome next to him - Badger was him name he said? - fiddled with his sphere. Suddenly his spoon left his hand and went flying across the table towards the sphere. "What kind of magic is that?" he exclaims surprised.

Xalanthias also took stew and tea, warming himself from the cold that had numbed his ears. He supposed he could make toys out of leather, or children always appreciated clothes instead of toys....right?
"We have to cross more open water? Does that mean we have to go on that boat without the sails?", he asked a bit nervously.
"Oh dear, I didn't mean to alarm you, the boat is perfectly safe, it's enchanted, you see. Can't be sunk, temperature controlled, all that. But I just can't bring myself to make the trip. I've some presents for you... think of it as a... pre-signing bonus. Maybe they'll help you figure out whatever's going on over there."
He's clearly worried, but trying to put a good face on it.
Arthur sets his knitting aside and rummages around, pulling out a large box with depictions of ornaments on the side.
"I hope you don't mind a little re-gifting, it's kind of a lost and found, there's all manner of things in there, but it almost always finds something that's right for anyone. I kept pulling and pulling hoping it'd give me something that would make it so I can fly, or at least not dro-drown."
He hands it to the nearest of you.

Ursula is enchanted with the sight of the large and very friendly yeti. She didn't know these creatures existed and is stunned into silence for a bit. After Dimble creates the chaos with his sphere, she finds her voice again. "I have brought an item myself as requested, but I doubt it would be seen as a toy." She pulls out the dagger and it gleams in the light. She lays it in front of her and asks, "When would you like us to start on this voyage? You seem very worried."
When the present is brought in front of them, Ursula can't help herself and reaches way in: 65
"Mmm! Delicious!" shouts Dimble, as he slips the fruitcake into a compartment of his backpack. "I'll be eating you later!" he says, this time speaking to the fruitcake.
Xalanthias goes next, reaching in and pulling out a soft, red sphere that emits a faint red glow.
Ursula presents her dagger before reaching into the box.
"Ah, excellent work! I've no doubt a craftsperson who could make something so fine would be able to make almost anything needed! And to be sure, there are some who receive less playful toys at Midwinter."
"Thank you for the gifts! I am sure they will be very helpful" says Dimble, after the final gift has been drawn. "Shall we be on our way now? We must not keep the Winter Father waiting".
"Yes, that would be best, I'm truly worried that something is wrong. Midwinter is coming up, and to have not heard from him or any of the Toymakers... Oh here... take some of this with you too."
He hands each of you an enchanted flask filled with a special batch of hot tea.
((Functions as two potions of healing each.))

Xalanthias examines the soft, red sphere with interest. Hearing Dimble give his thanks, he agrees, "Yes that is very kind, and thank you for the stew and tea as well".
He gets up and gathers his pack, slipping the red sphere into a pouch.
Nimblefinger gives the iceblade a little flourish before slipping it under his cloak and eagerly takes the hot tea. He echoes the others with his thanks. "Thank you, very thoughtful indeed, and the meal was excellent. Now where can we find these toymakers you are talking about?"

The small gnome girl is kind of standing off in the corner watching the others. She kind of jumps back a bit when the chowder flies around. "Eek"

Xalanthias looks at the box curiously, then looks to the others in the group to see if anyone is going to reach in.
When the box is passed to him, he cautiously reaches in and grasps something, pulling it out slowly: 13
Dimble reaches in and pulls out....
...a fruitcake.
He then passes the box along while trying to figure out what good this fruitcake does him...

((The rolls were another lie, each item was made custom for your characters, so I'll go ahead and Laalanie too.))
