Dimble holds the door open for those wishing to step outside, and asks the Yuletide Yeti, "Do you have an idea of where we should start looking? There must be countless islands about this ocean".
Ursula excitedly puts the hat on, it is so warm and cozy! Now that all her companions are nicely suited with some fun new and apparently useful items - Ursula stands and gets ready to head to the next plan of action. "I'm ready when you guys are!"
"Ah, yes, to be sure. The boat will take you to the largest of the Noel Isles, that's where the Winter Father and his Toymakers have their homes and workshops. It's enchanted, did I mention that? It'll ferry you there, no need to row or steer. Once you speak to the Winter Father or some of his Toymakers, you should have a better idea what's been going on."
With Arthur's well wishes behind you, the party sets off down to the docks, boarding the white boat, which once untied from the dock, drifts out and begins picking up speed towards open ocean. True to his word, there is a bubble of pleasantly warm air surrounding you, and as your boat glides across the cold waters and the white winter snow drifts through the air, it is shunted aside, none of it landing on you. Ahead, you can make out an island on the horizon, and as you get closer, the snow gets denser, obscuring your vision, the sound of the wind swirling around you making you glad you are on an enchanted boat.
The boat keeps pushing through, and you pass through to the other side. The snow is falling much lighter here, but behind you the blizzard rages. Ahead, you see the grand outline of the Noel Isles. The snow here somehow brings a warmth of memory, reminding you of nights by the fire and early Midwinter mornings sneaking a look at the presents under the tree. It isn't until you look closer and you see that the buildings of Noel Isles are covered with half hung Midwinter decorations. The festivities were started, but never finished. Banners flap limply in the wind, the arcane lights flicker with the little enchantment they have left, threatening to go out completely. Beautifully carved statues of ice and snow lie broken on the ground. You imagine this was once a wonderfully exciting journey to the Noel Isles, but it now seems to have a distinctly eerie fee as the silence of the night air hovers over you.
The white boat bumps up against the dock. You have arrived.
The Toymaker's workshops are the first thing you see as you step off the boat. You don't see any of the expected Toymakers, instead being by streets filled with deathly quiet. It seems the workshops make up the bulk of the town ahead, but you can make out a grand workshop at the top of the rise, on the far edge of town. You take this to be the Winter Father's personal workshop, a forest stretching behind.

"By the gods! What has happened here?" asks Dimble. "Let us go look at the Winter Father's workshop first, what say you?" says Dimble, asking the rest of the group.
As the party heads through the town, past partially decorated and partially ransacked looking workshops, the little gnome girl spots a figure in red and green clothes peering out from behind a building. He notices her noticing him, and beckons to her before ducking behind the building again.

Elafir cautiously follows the group, the glaive ready in his hand. He attached the Jangle Bells to the handle of his weapon during the boat ride. He closely looks from side to side while passing by the first workshops.
Elafir and Ursula are uneasy as they move through the abandoned village. Things are definitely 'off', but it's hard to put a finger on exactly what might have happened. Kind of looks like a party was starting, then was abandoned.

“It seems we have a deserter on our hands” frowns Dimble, shaking his head. “Let’s carry on, good fellows, to the Winter Father!”. Dimble unsheathes one of his shortswords and holds it high in the air. “Onwards!”

Nimblefinger pauses, his attention divided between the workshop ahead and the other gnome slipping away into the other houses. He whispers into his cloak and a weasel slides out and bounds into the darkness after the gnome girl "Go Comet, find out what draws her to the house and keep me posted." Nimblefinger turns back to the workshop, following the gnome waving his shortsword around, while keeping an eye on the shadows for any threats. Perception: 22.
A very nervous seeming elderly gnome waiting behind a house, seemingly waiting for LGG. He doesn't seem to have any ill intent, wringing his hands and shifting his feet.
