The Sun headed god walks down the temple steps. his blue and gold robes lightly brush the tiles beneath his feet. his one golden eye stares at you, slightly narrowed.
"If you aren't ill be deeply disappointed in you for disturbing the sun gods palace" he said and looked down at the hero's in front of him as he stood on the painted tile podium in front of them.

Unwavering, Wyatt shone his happy 10-year old smile. "Yep! I'm definitely the hero you and your town has been waiting for!" He fixed some of his hair on the side of his head before looking at the other people next to him. "Looks like I will end up having some assistance in my new quest!"

“If you aren't ill be deeply disappointed” - I was really confused on why he wanted us to be sick until I realized it was a typo :P
Wearing little but a robe, and carrying a long spear in his feathered hands, a three foot tall hooded figure stands near a few others, his eyes brightly reflecting the light from the sun god in front of him. He replies quietly, letting the child speak first, “I am no hero. Those who would claim to be so often fail to meet their own standards. But I will do what I can.”

OOC - How did we find ourselves here exactly?
You felt destiny's calling. The fates knew this day would come when a band of travelers would meet at one spot for a rest when in truth, they were their for a bigger reason.
The sun god looked down at them and tilted his head "finally someone who can speak truth" he said and raised his golden colored skinned hands to the sky "but I do agreed with you, even my own priests don't do their job." He said

The red-haired young woman stands just behind the small owl-like humanoid. The dark greens, greys, and browns of her travel clothing look worn and dirty compared to the gleaming surroundings. She holds a staff of smooth oak and wears a worn leather crossbody style bag that is partially hidden by a dark cape.
"What can you tell us about this sickness that ravages the town? When did it start?" The elf's pale, crystalline eyes meet the Sun God's at first, but as the string of queries came to her, her eyes seemed to focus inward. "What are the symptoms? How long are the victims sick before they succumb? What precautions seem to work?"
Wyatt grinned. "Then why don't you fire them?" He tried to hide it, but it was obvious he was holding back laughter.
He looks down at Wyatt, Unamused. "you really do have small brains, do all mortals have small brains like you?" He asked, pointing a golden finger at Wyatt

"the sickness. It was let out by a elf named Illthya. He works for a rather dark god that not even I would fight, I don't wish to get myself dirty after all" he said and chuckled a bit but went back to the story "it was let 12 years ago. It started small but then wiped out colonies and cities, towns and homes. No one has really survived except for the ones that stay inside and away from the diseased."
"as for the symptoms, It starts as headaches, warm temperatures, and coughing, easily passed off as a fever. However as time progresses you start to see bulbous liquid filled wounds on the back and arms. It starts growing to every part of the skin till the liquid inside turns red and explodes.... And well, I think you can guess what the red liquid is" he said

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
"And what was the motivation for Illthya to let loose such a devastating plague on your lands?"
"who knows these days. Darker gods want to wipe life from this planet to bring it back into dark ages." He said and held up his hands. A small projected picture of their world was shown. He blinked once "however the name is what gets under my skin. Illthya. The name itself is dark. A reference to the old plague that wiped civilization before gods... Before deities." He said and shut his hand, the projecting of the planet disappeared into the air.

She didn't leave him much room to answer, before tilting her head and questioning the god once more. "What is it exactly you want from us?" She lifted the staff to include the others in the room.

Or is it different because you are not personally interfering? And if this 'Illthya' was serving under a god, wouldn't you be able to sense it and find out yourself? Why are gods so convoluted about everything?!?!"
