Noey smiles around at the group as Bryella joins them, listening to their eagerness. They all seemed so... young. Except the guy. He was going to be a pill, she was sure of it.
"We're all in Physiologies, right. I'm taking History, and Auras, too," she says looking at Amber. "We're going to be in all the same classes, Amber. But you all can keep the botany class. I have no thumb for that stuff. Actually, I'm just not really that great at school." She shrugs.
“Magical Physiologies sounds sooo cool!” Tulli exclaimed. “I’m actually pretty good at medicine stuff. And poison. It’s funny how similar they can be. It’s not funny if you mix them up, of course. But no one liked Big Ed anyway, so everyone got a huge laugh out of him basically having to to live in an outhouse for three days. Even his mom thought it was hilarious.
“And it was just the one time, just so we’re clear! Mother is the local herbalist and she was…uh, displeased by my mistake. I…uh…I’m saying too much at this point, aren’t I?”
OOC > You will all be excited to know I have finally decided what to call my character. I'm going to stick with "Noey" because "Noe," although a version of "Zoe," just didn't come off my mental tongue with the e sound at the end. So there. The world can start spinning again, thank you for your patience. :)

The genasi runs a hand through her hair, making it even more voluminous. "Oh, I'm not worried about classes. I'm perfectly comfortable being in the middle of the pack. I just don't... well, magic isn't really my thing? I mean, I'm magic, sort of, right, some distant genie in the bloodline somewhere. But I'm just good at card tricks, really. So, like, do we have some sort of assembly today, or are we just reporting to our first classes?" She fumbles her books a little, looking for a schedule for the day.
“Wow! You guys are so much fun, I’m sure we’ll be the best of friends! As for where we are going first, I am not really sure,” Bryella blushes with embarrassment, “I already lost my schedule. Hopefully they’ll have an extra where we are headed!”
“I’m sure they can get you another copy of your schedule, Bryella,” said Tulli. “Maybe we should head to that orientation. I’m a little overwhelmed here. I’ve never been anywhere this…big.”

“The Great School of Magic in Glantri is bigger,” Amber explains. “But Strixhaven has a better reputation and better academics.”
I've never heard of Glanti, mused Tulli. I suppose it could be somewhere in Kara-Tur or Zakhara, but I don't think so. I think this is more of that other world stuff. Oh wow, this place really is full of people from other worlds and stuff. Just like in that bard song about Sigil!
She returns her attention to Rhydian, and her eyes narrow suspiciously. "And you, my lovely, are barking up the wrong tree. I think. Honestly, I just don't know anymore."
You hear Rhydian's voice at your ear although he hasn't moved. "Given your reaction to the other girls, I think you and I are ordering off the same menu. So don't give me much mind; perhaps we can help each other keep an eye out for lovelies."
"Aside from the required Magical Physiologies, I have History of Magic and Art with several of you but looks like I'll be on my own for Beginning Inkomancy. Orientation assembly looks like our starting place; shall we head that way?" he says to the group at large.

Noey jumps at the voice in her ear. She rounds on Rhydian. "Gods! Don't do that! But... yeah. I mean... yeah, let's go to the assembly thing." She recovers herself, but poorly. "Come on, let's go first years. This uniform really chafes. Does it chafe you?" she asks of some random passerby. She pulls at the collar and then starts off in the direction all the other people are going.

While the comment wasn't directed at her, Tulli couldn't help but examine her uniform for a moment. It certainly didn't chafe. It was actually the most comfortable thing she'd ever worn. It seemed to be made of silk or some similar material. A far cry from the linen clothes she'd worth growing up or the leather armor her druid friends had given her. The uniform had been the first Strixhaven wonder she'd seen and so far this day was making it clear it wouldn't be the last.
(BTW, Tulli is a tweaked version of a previous character of mine. Here's some art I had made of the original version. https://imgur.com/a/Pux14Kt)
