"...well," Felix said, pulling out his flute. "I don't know about you, but I think some music is in order. In the meantime, sir stranger, why don't you tell us about yourself?"
Felix then began to play the flute, observing the man as he played. Optimistic as he was, he was no stranger to liars and manipulators, growing up alongside a few in his hometown. A fact he had to remind himself of, from time to time. Such as now.
Felix spaces out thinking about cats while trying to divine the strangers true meaning. Proceeding to take out his flute upon getting bored. Thastrem followed Felix’s lead by strumming on a shiny lute. The back was composed of rosewood and the neck made of lightwood with a veneer of ebony wood. The tuning pegs were composed of fruitwood to match the make of the bridge. The frets and string were made using animal gut and metal respectively. The soundboard had a rose themed outlined with dwarvish characters surrounding the outline. the whole design came together with a mother of pearl design that made the rose motif pop. Thastrem cradled the instrument and played along to the wood wind's airy tones as Eion and Naomi gathered the surrounding driftwood for Sariel to light into a campfire using prestidigitation. The stranger fed the horses and everyone settled around the fire. Thastrem shared a day of rations with the stranger and enjoyed their meal.
“Most folk just call me Jingley,” responded the stranger. “On account of me jingling whatever gold comes me way as I count it. Jack Cully is what me mother called me.”
Felix, after some time, regained focus and listened in to the vagabond's words. At least he gave them a name. Pity Felix was no investigator, else he could figure out more of the man just by looking at him. Ah well, he would have to settle for words and actions for now.
"Thastrem, I must say, you are quite skilled at the strings," he said. "Do you know 'Dancers in the Wind,' by any chance?"
Sariel pricks her ears up into the air and scans the darkness beyond the glow of the campfire. There are no sounds or movement other than what is happening between the party. As soon as she is convinced they are alone Sariel turns her attention to her daily rations as she begins to eat. The musicians of the group were conversing next to Jack Jingly. Thastrem responded to Felix's question. "No i haven't. Who are they?"
I'm also curious. As Sariel is trying to make conversation. She is still a little uneasy in such a strange place but she has others to help her out so it helps relax her a bit.
Is there anything I can do to help with the performance?
"Or a singing voice or dance to add to it?" added Felix. "A performance is a performance, no matter the type. And to answer your question, 'Dancers in the Wind' is a song. It's rather simple, being about an adventurer who came across sylphs and nymphs having a party of sorts. They invite him to join them, and he has fun, but eventually he wakes up abandoned, with only the mark of a kiss on his cheek as proof of his merriment. That, and a hangover. Here, it goes something like this."
And Felix began to play, hoping he could remember the tune correctly.
Eion looked over at Naomi while gathering drift wood, making sure no one could hear his question. "A guy named Jingly who is apparently known for jingling gold around is found on the side of the road completely unharmed? I know streets where you can't even have gold in your name without getting your throat slit. Any thoughts Naomi?"

"I find that very odd. The only way someone could have that much gold without getting killed for it would if that person didn't flaunt their wealth. I wonder if he's actually a robber of sorts? Shouldn't jump to conclusions though."
As Naomi and Eion discussed their friend in secret, Felix began to play Dancers in the wind. He took the lead on his little woodwind while Thastrem provided support with his lute. They missed a few beats but the night did not suffer for it. The real star of the camp circle was Sariel, who began to dance to the music. The tiny half elf sample everything from classic ballroom steps to carnal street dance. Swaying and snapping to the rhythm as she twirled around the fire like there was no tomorrow. It looked as if her clothes would tear at the seems and let her slender frame leap out like a sea nymph. Her movements only got faster as the music began to reach its climax. When the song reach its conclusion Sariel dropped to her knees panting and heaving as exhaustion took hold of her. Everyone applauded as Sariel gave an awkward but dramatic bow as she went to sit next to Eion and Naomi. She had heard the two discussing Jack Jingly and went to throw her two cents on the matter panting as she spoke.
