"Alex, we need to go, where are we headed?" Escarin looks around the area searching for ways to move should the need arise. "We can't have long before they find us here!"

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
Xorn touches hoof to ground and looks around impressed to see everyone safely on the ground. “Don’tneed to know where we’re going to get out of town.” His powerful legs then drive him forward toward the closest way out of Solace.
They hurried off after Alex, hearing the sounds of the guards climbing the stairway into the Inn. Geoff, unused to walking on the ground in Solace, was soon lost. Above him he could see the bridge-walks, the street lamps gleaming among the tree leaves. He was completely disoriented, but Alex kept pushing forward confidently, weaving in and out among the huge trunks of the vallenwood trees. The sounds of the commotion at the Inn faded.
"We'll hide at Tika's for the night," Escarin whispered to Shan as they plunged through the underbrush. "Just in case someone recognized us and decides to search our homes. Everyone will have forgotten about this by morning. Then we can go on to Haven where the Council of High Seekers can talk with them. I think I might even go along — I'm curious about this staff."
Shanryar nodded. Then he looked at Escarin and smiled a melancholic smile. "Welcome home," the wizard said.
"Same to you."
They both came to a sudden halt, bumping into Xorn in the dark.
"We're here, I think," Xorn said.
In the light of the street lamps that hung in the tree limbs, they could see Alex climbing tree branches. The rest followed more slowly, Xorn assisting those who needed it. Kin pulled himself up over the porch railing with the skill of a burglar. The kender slipped over to the door and peered up and down the bridge-walk. Seeing no one on it, he motioned to the others. Then he studied the lock and smiled to himself in satisfaction.
Geoff puts his hands on his knees with fatigue as the restless nights were catching up with him. He catches his breath while the lock is being studied.

Xorn looks at Geoff with a strange look. “I don’t think Tika would appreciate us eating through her front door. Give the little fella a chance, he must just be rusty. “
“Yeah, let the kender do his magic. “ says Shan grabbing the little one by his shoulders and putting him again in front of the door “If not I will use mine “ Only Geoff sees the sparkle showing for a second in her eyes when she says the last word.
“Go on Kin, we trust you” she says to the kender in his ear while retrieving one of her material pounches from the kender’s hand.
I Think we should let him try. I was asking in case he fails the roll. If he doesn’t show in time then the DM or one of us could roll for him and if it fails, then look for.. gourmet alternatives. ;)
"Oh very well...I would have helped," he says with a wink to Xorn. As he moves away from the door, Geoff sees the sparkle in Shan's eyes as he squints then widens his eyes slightly for a brief moment, remembering the Featherfall spell that saved him on the rope and gives her a smile in understanding.
"Please make it quick Kin, we can't afford to be spotted or we may see if the old gods exist in the afterlife."
He rubs his wrists then quickly inspects the staff to make sure it wasn't damaged before taking position to act as a lookout while his friends sort out the lock.
Kin opens the lock with appalling ease. You all file in and shut the door quickly. It's a simple house with two rooms. The common area and the living space, a small passage in the trunk that leads into a hollowed out room that seems like Tika's bedroom.
As you start to take some relief in the fact that you are hidden from sight you hear goblin talking a few meters away. They seem to be going door to door and knocking, asking to be let in.
“Well done Kin!” Congratulates Shan the kender when he opens the lock.
Once inside she sits in one chair and, holding her staff, she let her head rest upon it, her hood still up.
When they hear the goblins she said
”We cannot wait here, we were trapped and put Tika in trouble. We should get what provisions she gets and can spare and get out of here. I am not sure of what we just wistened but I don’t think that we should allow the goblins touch the staff. “ she turns to Alex “ we better hurry Alex”
"If we leave now and they see us, we either have to kill them or they'll chase us with a gang of their friends. I've no intention of them getting their hands on the staff but could we hide out here, if we have too I'm sure a few goblins won't be much effort.."
