"Leave at dawn, we are not going hunting. We could all use a good rest, and a solid breakfast, and maybe some more provisions for the trip. Dont worry Poco we will not leave you behind" Mathark replies
Poco and any who stay up for his performance: [[OOC: I'm letting your performance check ride continue to apply.]]
The evening crowd that comes in is a fairly cosmopolitan mix of races, but by their garb, you can tell the crowd is a mix of miners, common merchants, farmers and laborers. You get a really great response out of the crowd, some sing along, some break out into dance. You find Dezra the barmaid has quite a good voice and she joins you on a few songs. The crowd thins early as most of the miners and farmers are early risers. The remaining listeners are devoted, lively, and thirsty, so Toblen the barkeep and owner, asks you stay up a little bit till they break up a bit. It isn't too much longer, so you should have no problems getting your rest.
One song, which Dezra wanted to sing is a local favorite about an old stone lighthouse, West of Phandalin, on the coast. You were able to puzzle it out as the melody is a common one for nautical mystery tales. Ships are drawn to this gleaming tower like moths to a flame, and are doomed to crash upon its rocks. The song alleges the wrecks must be filled with treasure.
All told you get about 50 copper, 25 silver, and one of the miners who cried during a particularly lovely sad song throws in a gold piece. Dezra takes her cut in silver and copper, (Where am I gonna spend a GOLD piece!) leaving you with 1gp, 18sp, and 20 cp.

Early risers among you hear cocks' crowing and see the light of the sun poking through the not the best fitting shutters. If you're not a morning person it's not too hard to catch a few more zzz's for a leisurely morning.
Not all that much later, the smells of a rich tapestry of breakfast foods entice you downstairs. You quickly learn that breakfast is plentiful, varied for all kinds of diets, delicious and thanks to the owner's gratitude for the business Poco brought in, free.

Proserpina is one of the first awake, having taken the opportunity of being in an inn to sleep. She is up early having a cup of tea before breakfast, considering the plan for the next day.
Refreshed from sleeping on an actual mattress, Rohani skips cheerfully towards the smells of breakfast. Procuring a tall stack of fresh flapjacks and accompanying bottle of syrup, she takes a seat at the table where she spots Prosperina.
"Mornin', Proserpina," Rohani greets, setting the food down on the table and taking a seat. "Flapjack?" She offers, gesturing to the stack, before taking a few herself and drowning them with syrup before digging in.
Wynn finishes checking his tools, having completed his trance several hours ago, and joins the breakfast club. He doesn't eat much, mainly some grainy mush that he dresses with berries. He repeatedly glances over at what Rohani and Persopina are eating. Wynn can't help but be impressed with the pace and enthusiasm with which his companions consume their meal. He realizes that he's been staring and quickly changes the subject.
"I am a bit low on medical supplies, so I may wander out to see what I can procure for the journey. I like to be prepared. Any requests while I am out?"
OOC: I guess this is a good time, CG, to check in with you about how closely we will be tracking money and supplies. Are we starting out with the prescribed DD Beyond amount of money and inventory? If so, Wynn doesn't have nearly enough gold for a healing potion, so he would be looking for a medical kit of some sort.
Waking up shortly after the other, Mathark checks over his equipment, ensuring everything is serviceable. He makes his way into the main hall, still a little disheveled as takes less care of himslef, then he does his equipment. He spots the others in the hall, and gets a myf of coffee and some eggs and toast, before settling into a seat at the table with the others. "Morning, everyone"
OOC: I won't be tracking food or ammo, or other mundane consumables, but I might ask for monthly expense deductions. You should either have the standard starting equipment for background and class, or can roll gold and shop if you want.
Poco joins breakfast. He is in very high spirits, having performed to such a great crowd last night.
He eats his fill and asks to join Wynn.
" I don't have anything that I am looking for but, I find that company often makes shopping a more pleasant task. Would you mind if I joined you Wynn?"

"Not at all. Be glad to have you along. I had to use up my medical supplies a little while back and I would feel more -- well -- prepared if I found some more before we set off."
As they look about the town in search of a merchant, Wynn takes this opportunity to get to know Poco a bit better. "You were walking the Triboar Trail by yourself when you came upon us. That's awfully confident, even for an experienced adventurer. What brings you this direction, if you don't mind me asking?"
OOC: CG, a Healer's Kit runs 5gp according to DDB so I am willing to pay that price if we want to forgo a lengthy shopping side quest.
OOC: I'm going to summarize the shopping expedition, feel free to expand the RP, esp. between Wynn and Poco if you want.
Following the directions (more like pointing, as it's pretty close) of a local citizen, you find yourself in Barthen's Provisions, kind of a general store for the town. A tall, sturdily built young half elf woman introduces herself as Thistle, and when you mention what you are looking for, says she has just the thing. She brings out twoi healers kits, one is a little nicer looking but not as well stocked, the other is far more serviceable. "Barthen took this used one in for trade, it's pretty good, just won't be useable as many times[[7 charges instead of 10]]. We can let you have that for three gold, the full kit for five, or if you want the nice case from the used kit and all the supplies, seven." [[That'd be a healer's kit with 17 charges]]
"Y'all are new in town, aren't you. Is there anything particular you are doing here, if you don't mind me askin'?"

Wynn and Poco depart to go buy supplies Mathark bids them farewell and heads over the the barkeep. "I was hoping you could provide some insight into Adabra Gwynn. There must be a reason she lives alone outside of town."
Refilling his mug of coffee, he begins to go through his arrows again "I am afaird I may need some more feathers for my arrows" he absently says to himself. Looking up to see the barkeep stsying at him as if ready to answer his early question, he adds "is there a person in town who may be able to supply white feathers by chance?"
