Joe decides to stay with Lurn and leaves the prone Jaq laying on top of a dead Drow. She runs to end up a bit behind the big boys but close enough to riddle a Drow with darts, dropping him.
The mage looking Drow blinks and turns in place and yells in Elven,
"They've blinded me! Blind them!"
From behind a bolt flies at Joe from a Drow that turning the corner.
Attack: 16 Damage: 7
A second, more heavily armoured Drow stops beside the first and looks at the party before pointing and everything goes dark.
During this the Drow caster has hissed a few words and as the darkness descends there is a snapping sound.
He holds Sword aloft in the darkness and causes her to shine brightly.
By my reading of things, this *should* work?
Channel Divinity: Sacred Weapon:
As an action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with positive energy, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, you add your Charisma modifier to attack rolls made with that weapon (with a minimum bonus of +1). The weapon also emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light 20 feet beyond that. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.
Magical light, not produced by a spell of 2nd level or lower, so should cut darkness?

((Wait, ignoring Jaq? Ah damn it, I missed that he was unconscious. I took "feeling nothing" to mean it was a minor injury... And isn't he up a ways onto the landing while we're still in the stairwell? All the more reason to keep pushing forward. Aaand yeah I got thrown off on the spacing because I was still caught up on when Lurn moving up to the drow would have blocked Kroshav's reach. Had to check the map for a refresher.
Also, Blindness is constitution saves, not Wisdom, if that makes any difference on the caster.))
I'll have to wait and see how Kroshav's attempt goes before deciding what to do next.

Kroshav lights up the space within the darkness and sees a familiar semi-corporal shadow creature next to him and Lurn. Both Lurn and Kroshav also see the prone form of Joe behind Lurn, a bolt sticking out of her shoulder.
Mikram starts and shouts a out a colorful exclamation upon seeing the looming shadow creature.

@Hound, also in the likely case I don't post a map today the two Drow west of you are right around 25' away and the caster Drow is out of sight, presumably having headed east into the darkness.))
((Yeah, no action this turn. His priorities if you need to bot him while I'm away would be to attack the shadow to keep it from his friends (breaking sanctuary), then help get Joe and Jaq up. Heal himself at some point, and if they're able to push, he has a minute on the glowing sword. If they retreat fully, grab what they can from the dead drow and pull back, projecting the others. Anyone fleeing from him gets sentinel'd.))

Your holy weapon is in the opposite direction from the two Drow by the stairs.
Also, can you please roll that healing for your cure wounds. Dead isn't dying, just unconscious - though given that you didn't see her drop I can understand Lurn using the spell.))
(If Blindness doesn't work then Joe will cast fog cloud 30' south to obscure the mage/ranged attacks.

Mikram would let you know the caster is 30 feet east of where he was before and then the pale dwarf tries to stab the shadow creature with a yell.
Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Unfortunately the dwarf isn't used to mounted combat and whiffs big.
