"Yes, they are going to be here in a minute or less " says Lebenha confirming Jax's words. She has avoided to answer the question about her abilities and somehow is grateful that the distraction provided by the troopers gives her more time.
"I can go with you Jax" she says "Two pair of eyes will see more than just one" she smiles to the others and follow Jax to the rear door.
Jax and Leb - As the two of you exit the four troopers pass by you but do not particularly take note of you. After a brief stint of travel on foot (about ten minutes) you arrive at the library. It is a prominent building, supported by elegantly carved columns and muraled walls depicting the history of Hynestia. You notice that one section of this mural, a roughly ten foot cube, is painted over in an attempt to make it less noticeable. There are people trickling in and out of the library, most in a hurry to escape the cold, and there is a healthy number of storm troopers distributed throughout the area.
The rest of you - You see these four storm troopers enter shortly after Jax and Leb's departure. They don't appear to be in any hurry or in search of anything in particular; it would seem that they are just on a standard patrol. Everyone in the cantina please make a Perception check.
Trying to hide how uncomfortable she is by the presence of the stormtroopers, Lebenha pulls a little bit more of her hood and heads to the interior of the library. She looks for a free dataport to start searching for the information of the prison.
Leb - Entering the library, you see that it is divided into four sections: public access (requiring no ID), citizens access, military access, royal access (available only to royalty and those who they admit to it). In the most brief investigations it becomes clear that no information on the palaces construction will be contained in the public section, but you do find a terminal that would allow you to locate where such information might be.
Jax - Looking at the mural, you can see that one part seems to have been omitted from this historical record. The paint is significantly more recent then the rest of the mural. Make a Lore check.
Khane, Nima, and Tal’Rar - You see that as the troopers enter, there are three individuals at a table in the back that appear to be nervous, shifting around and rapidly eyeing exits. There is also a separate table where two figures glance at the Imperials, scowling. Tal’Rar and Khane only see one of those two figures gripping a vibrodagger under the table, cautiously waiting for something.
As you glance through this historical mural, it appears to be consistently updated based on major events. The time frame leading up to the covered spot leads you to believe that it was some depiction of the Empire's rise to power here on Hynestia. Clearly, whatever imagery was there was seen by the Empire as worth censoring.
One thing you do observe about the event following this covered section: they depict the Jedi Order as villainous, as much of the galaxy now believes. There is one frame that shows Jedi returning from some sort of temple and attacking the citizens before the Empire saved the city and captured the Jedi.
Trying to go unnoticed and not to bother anyone Lebenha, after indicating Jax that she is going to go to that terminal, she tries to find an index of where the information could be.She highly doubts that kind of information is accesible to everyone but she would try it anyway. If not she would try some old records, perhaps not the most updated but maybe the original blueprints of the construction or some historical records could help them obtain any kind of information.
She put her gloves before start tapping on the screen in search for it.
Leb - As you scan through search results and indexes on the terminal, you find that the most clear information would be found in the military and royal access sections. Despite this, you find a series of reports on the original palace's construction in public access (although these files are marked as outdated since the palace's renovation). Makes a Technology or Investigation check.
He watched in silence as the more nervous of his new allies left the cantina, feeling a little bit more comfortable with the now clear fact that he was not the only one to prefer staying clear from any figures of authority. The Stormtropers seemed to pay them all little attention, leading him to believe their appearance was nothing more than a routine patrol. On that could very well be fated to become less ordinary, Tal”Rar noticed as a table of two started to scowl the guards. One of them preparing a blade.
“Well, good news is we may find help in either the table of the nervous three or the aggressive two.” He points to his remaining colleagues. “Bad news is one of the two seems to be ready to start some quite literally bloody fight.” Which meant that sooner or later the cantina would be filled to the brim with Imperials. If there to stop some fight or pick up to bodies of the patrol only time could tell. “Should we talk with anyone? Try to stop the escalation? Or just get on our way?”
At this point Tal’Rar was not quite sure about what would be the best choice. They should prepare in case Jax’s fail to procure the plans, but avoiding unwanted attention was just as important.
Jax and Leb - Jax, you join Leb just as she is pulling up some more information. This time, she found that in the public access section there is a list of everyone who worked on the palace's most recent renovtion.
"I cannot slice into the restricted areas of the library to obtain up to date blueprints of the palace "explains Lebenha to Jax when she joins her " But I think this could be useful. I am sure that here we can find a name or two that could provide us to such information or steal it from them." she finish copying the list on her datapad and shows it to Jax with a smile.
Khane, Tal’Rar, Nima, and T0-M80 - The four of you watch these four troopers and five anxious figures cautiously. For a few seconds, nothing of note happens, they just stand and monitor the surroundings. It is then that those of you who took note of the exits of this building see the three nervous, but not hostile figures stand casually from their table and drift towards different exits. The troopers glance in their direction, noting their presence though not seeming particularly drawn to action. All three are almost to their respective exits when one of them seems to glance over their shoulder and meet the gaze of a trooper. That was enough of an incentive. The figure begins to run the rest of the way toward the door, alerting the storm troopers, who immediately call out, “Halt, citizens!”
As the individual does not stop, the troopers begin a chase towards them. Seeing this commotion, the other two who were at the table begin a run as well. Some troopers see this and begin pursuit. The original runner had two troopers behind them and the other two each have one trooper chasing them out onto the street.
T0-M80 stands stock still for a moment, watching the troopers charge down this citizen. While he hates the empire, getting into a scuffle with a couple of imperials is not going to change the world, but it might make his life significantly harder.
**Baboop Dabub.** - This is an excellent distraction, lets meet at the space port later. Ciao.
With that, he begins to quietly roll to one side of the building and wait quietly for everything to blow over.
