Khane nods "I don't know what you said, but I agree. I am going to do some investigation into this Pazia. Perhaps there is an underground in the city, I will follow the fleeing criminals."
He stands up, and walks towards the door. He walks out of the cantina without glancing at the group or the barkeep and as he steps outside he starts to follow the commotion caused by the chase.
Khane - Stepping onto the bustling street, you see that one of the three individuals who fled the room is lying mere feet from the doorway with a smoking blaster wound. One individual is being chased down the street by two troopers and one trooper is looking around confusedly, whose target is nowhere to be seen.
(sorry about the delay) Khane runs after the two troopers, doing his best to slip through the crowd. As soon as the troopers turn down an alley away from the main group he will make his move

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Khane - You see the two troopers turn into an alley in pursuit of the one individual. The one who lost their target turns to the fallen civilian. You see in the corner of your eye a movement in an alley opposite to the one the troopers turned down.
“I like this idea.”He said to the wrapped figure he supposed to be a Jedi. He was ready to delve in the underwold of the planet himself, but if someone else was willing to peruse dangerous areas the Twi’lek was more than satisfied with staying in safer zones. The confusion starts fast and soon enough both troublemakers and soldiers are outside the Cantina. Both Khane and the droid take their leaves. They were not the only ones, of course. More than a few there preferred to avoid meeting the law, specially the law of Stormtroopers.
Tal’Rar recognize amongst the ones exiting the two figures preparing weapons. Armed men, with clearly no love for the Empire and experience enough to keep a low profile even when ready to fight. Provided they had a way in the palace, they would make for the perfect allies. He took a glance at the bartender, thinking about speaking with her, as he suggested to the group. That can wait, he decided starting to follow the two men. He wanted to get as close as possible and talk, but knowing battle was always a possibility he waited until no Imperial force was around and centered his mind, attuning it to The Force so he could have some precognition against danger. Hopefully that wouldn’t be necessary.
Notes: Tal'Rar leaves the cantina following the two mean that were readying weapons. In the streets and away from any Imperial Force he casts Battle Precognition (2 Force Points used, AC= 13+Dex Mod) and keeps following, trying to reach the two man.
Lebenha checks the list she has encountered and tries to see if there is someone that could have the information they need, like an architect or a contractor...
Tal'rar - As you follow the two armed individuals, they turn down a cross-street, checking behind them. If you would like to approach stealthily or otherwise you can make a Stealth (or other, depending) check.
Perception: 8
Khane - As you dart into the alleyway after the figure you see them hastily scaling a building. Once they have secure footing on the roof they check behind them, though not in the alleyway itself, where you are, but on the street where they saw the Stormtroopers. Seeing none of them in pursuit, they turn and continue away from the scene. They aren't in as much of a hurry now, so if you would like to catch up with them you could easily do so.
Lebenha - You scroll through the names on the list, most unhelpful, but you find two names of particular note: Saibin Leight (listed as a security officer of the newest renovation of the palace, the records show that they are "missing from duty") and Biy Ukir (a neimoidian architect who designed the palace's frame, though not interior).
As they walked back Lebenha was scrolling the list. Jax notices that despite the fact that she is focused on her datapad she dodges people and obstacles in the street as if she was looking straight ahead.
"Look, I think that I've found something, there is an architect that designed the palace's frame, that could be useful to locate possible entrances and exits but this one looks more promising, Saibin Leight, a security officer that is... missing from duty " she reads "Perhaps if we locate this Saibin Leight we could obtain the information we need. Where did we get to find the others? At the same cantina?" she asks putting away her detapad.
He followed the men with no effort to hide his presence. In fact, the Twi’lek hopes they will notice him and sure enough, they do. At least he believed so as they entered a cross-street. Maybe that was an escape route, an area where they could blend in the crowd and lose anyone tailing them. Maybe it was a den of allies or simply the closest and conveniently discreet place where they could mount an ambush. To simply follow would be foolish, but to resort to stealth would rise further suspicion. Should I try to notice their trap before they attack? Not that doing so would be less suspicious than moving furtively. With a deep breath he joined his hands and called upon the Force for Guidance.
“I know you perceived me.” He spoke from outside cross-street, loud enough for them to hear. “And you know I am alone.”And Tal’Rar hoped that was enough to make them feel unthreatened. “I have no intention of fighting you. In fact, I am looking for help in a risky endeavor and considering your actions back at the cantina I believe we share a distaste towards a certain group.” The Empire, they should understand. It wasn’t safe to speak such things openly. “Can we talk for a moment?”
Notes: Tal'Rar does not enter the street, but speaks from outside it and tries to persuade the armed individuals to speak with him.
Khane follows at enough of a distance that he isn't noticed, but not enough that he loses sight of his quarry.
"I will find his hideout, then find my way inside. Surely someone will know something about this woman we are supposed to free." He reasons to himself.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Tal'rar - There is a brief pause, you hear movement and shifting of items in the cross-street. "You may approach. But keep your hands up." They seem incredibly skeptical, and based on the sounds you heard before they spoke you suspect they have some weapon prepared.
Khane - You trail the individual for a number of minutes. I would like both an Perception and a Stealth check.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A rogue smile took hold of his lips as he heard the answer of the armed men. They spoke to him of success. At least in finding them and avoiding and likely deadly ambush. A mark of emotion that he was fast to hide in a neutral expression. Raised amidst performers and prostitutes, he knew very well how to hide his emotions. Deception and performance where like second nature and the men would need quite the insight to see through him.
“I’m a Twi’lek so just two hands.”He said putting his master’s lightsaber in his bag, beyond the reach of the man. “I am unarmed.”
Tal’Rar said entering the street with arms raised and palms open. The image of someone incapable to counter an attack. A lie told without words. His body, through its connection with the Force, was a weapon. His mind as dangerous as any blade. But the men wouldn’t see that unless they share the same ability. If that was the case, then it would become much easier to gain their help.
“Can we speak clearly here?" He said looking at the prepared weapon. Trying to identify it. “I mean, without fear of our common disaffection hearing?”
That should give them some idea that he very much intended to act against the interests of the Empire, if not against it directly.
Notes: Forgot to roll the Guidance die in the last post. Doing it here in case it is relevant.
Tal'rar - You round the corner and are surprised to see the two individuals, each with only a vibrodagger and a piece of metal scavenged from the street being used as a make-shift shield. Both of them are in concealing robes, but you can see that one of them is a Mon Calamari and the other is a human. The Mon Calamari speaks up, "In this street and quietly, yes we can. Speak your piece Twi'lek."
Khane - You successfully pursue this individual, remaining completely unseen. The individual dips from the roof into an alleyway. They walk into an apartment complex, and enter an elevator. You are also in the apartment but they haven't noticed you, but they definitely would if you joined them in the elevator.
The more he looked at the men the more unimpressed he felt. Their ambush was flimsy at beast, considering that they only had a vibrodagger and an improvised shield each. The good news is that it shouldn’t be hard to run away if things go poorly, he though as the Mon Calamari answered his question with an affirmative. That made things easier. Considering their willingness to talk they should be either open for work or particularly hateful of the Galactic Empire. Maybe even both.
“Let us start with the obvious: there is no love lost between any of us and the Empire.” He started, hands still in the air. “In my case, specifically, I have good reasons to **** with them and when I saw your reactions back at the cantina, I could not help but think if you could not be of assistance.” Provided they could be of help. Tal’Rar could only hope they did. “I am looking for someone that can smuggle a small group inside the castle and as close to the Royal Prison as possible without, obviously, having said group put on a cell. Such endeavor would not come for free, of course. I can introduce you to someone willing to employ people that are not overly found of the current government. This someone pays in credit and or arranging safe passage out of this planet. Would you be interested or willing to help?”
Tal'rar - The two glance back and forth, the human very cautiously leans to murmur something in Mon Calamari's ear. The latter speaks again, "Your proposal sounds acceptable, but the two of us can only be of so much help. We are members of a larger organization, they could likely offer the support you seek. We can't speak for the whole group, but we will return to our base of operations and send a representative to meet with you. Where would be best?"
When Tal’Rar sought the Force for guidance, he didn’t expect to have the luck to find exactly what their operation needed. He considered that the men should have some fighting experience, maybe be former soldiers or at least know how to reach enough guards to get the name of those willing to take bribe. But for them to become a contact with larger organization capable to put them inside the Royal Palace? Not even in his most optimistic dream he would have imagined this.
“I would suggest the cantina, but imperial scum should have more eyes there for the next few days.” Then he started looking around, taking in the format of the street. “You said that in his street we can talk quietly and openly so I’m going to assume no Stormtrooper patrol around there.” And confident on being right. The street was too far away from the central roads and far too close to an area that not only attract people, but the sort of people who breeds problem. “I’ll come with the group to be smuggled. We’ll be six in total. Try to come in no more than that, lest our numbers catch eyes. Lunch tomorrow sounds like a good time for the meeting? By the way, may I drop my hands?”
Tal'rar - [You're six in total] The Mon Calamari smirks a little, "Yes you may. We will send a representative at that time. You will tell them that you know Jaless, that's me. I am not sure how much else I am allowed to say, so that will be all, stranger. Good day." Jaless makes eye contact with the human, who nods and the two turn and continue out of the street.
