It has been four years since the end of the Clone Wars, and the planet of Hynestia fell quickly into the swing of Imperial rule. Your various pathways have lead you here, into the only city on this otherwise barren planet. It surrounds the equator and is centered around the mighty Hynestian Royal Palace. The streets are full, though not too crowded, and surrounding every corner are a mix of merchants and Storm Troopers. Those of you interested in work and those interested in strange plots have picked up rumors of a odd Rodian at the "Frozen Kova," a cantina. Most say he is looking for "special people" to help him, though they don't know with what. Regardless of your stance on this individual, he is reportedly only there at night, so the earliest one might find him is in one hour. In the interim, what kind of places might you have found yourselves in?
With the head covered by the hood of her black cloak, Lebenha has been watching patiently the entrance of the cantina for the past 30 minutes. She has surveyed the possible exits of the local and had selected a couple of escape routes. She wasn’t sure about them but st least she was a little more confident knowing that, at least she had checked them.!
Another patrol of stormtroopers passed walking below, not really paying attention to the cantina. The imperial presence were obvious but not specially on alert or looking for someone. That was a good sign, she thought, or a really elaborated and well coordinated plan to lure her out.
“Do not make your problems or your enemies bigger than they are” her Master used to say to her.
She waited a few more minutes and made a mental note of who entered and who walked away. When only ten minutes were left to the appointment she moved.
With a couple of jumps she descended to the ground level and walked towards the cantina door. She desperately needed credits. Perhaps that job could help her. After a few deep breaths to relax herself she entered the Frozen Kova
Khane has not been on the planet long. His ride, or what's left of it, crash landed a few kilometers away from the city in a lake after being attacked by bandits just before their entry. Khane had made it out unscathed, but his driver hadn't been so lucky.
Clad in black robes that billow in the cool breeze and an ornate silver and red mask, he makes his way through the bustle of the city with little issue. People seem to unconsciously avoid him, leaving him room to slip past crowds silently. His leg gave him a small amount of trouble, but the pain was already dulling and he would be seated soon enough. It has been six weeks since he left Moraband and he quickly realized after first setting foot on a civilized planet that the Galaxy was under military control. After a couple of close shaves with stormtroopers, he figured it was too much hassle to keep having to flee the planet he was on.
After a short walk, Khane finds himself outside Frozen Kova. He had heard around that there was a Rodian (Whatever that is) who was looking for muscle. Khane shrugs to himself, and starts to head inside. With the coin I earn from this, perhaps I can finally locate what remains of my kind....

On the streets of the Hynestian city, a young Twi'lek woman walks with purpose. She darts through the crowd, doing her best to avoid the eyes of Stormtroopers. Nima is slender, with light blue skin and swirling, dark blue designs running down her lekku. She wears simple clothing and a black jacket. She slips into the cantina as soon as she can, and leans against a wall, arms crossed as she waits for the Rodian to enter.
Silent as a shadow Tal’Rar walked through the cold streets of the city. It was an island of civilization in otherwise desolate and frozen waste. The towers of the royal castle stretched from its center, a monument to some old lineage that no doubt found itself special and powerful. Fools, he thought as the cantina came into view. A whim of this emperor would be enough to end them. It had happened before. Jedi and criminal overlords alike could tell as much, provided you found one alive.
As he opened the doors of the Frozen Kova he could feel the warmth of the place, the smell of food, the sound of more voices than he could count. No one seemed particularly interested on his arrival and he decided that was a good start. He was a tall Twi'lek of broad shoulders and slim build. Chiseled face, orange eyes and flaxen skin carrying no distinctive mark. His clothes were mostly hidden by a dark grey trench coat. The best color to disguise dirt, wear and tear, he learned still a lad. Reaching the bar he started to watch the entrance, waiting for the Rodian rumor had was looking for hired help. Depending on the work and crew it could be a good chance for him to make some Credits.
T0-M80 sits and waits for his next customer in the corner of the Frozen Kova, as he had been for several hours. It had been weeks that he sat there, offering up repair jobs and maintenance for his droid compatriots, and he had made a fair few credits. Most of which had been returned to the establishment owner in exchange for allowing the small droid to stay.
For most, he looked like an unassuming astromech repurposed for the city life; but T0-M80 was watching, listening, waiting, for an opportunity to get back into the fray. A way out of this place, and away from that damned empire.
Jax has had it up to here with this Imperial BS. Bad for business. Smuggling is going down hill, no way for a good pilot to make a quick buck. I mean there's joining the local security forces or even the Imperials but that's just so restrictive.
She head about this Rodian looking for help, and made her way to the cantina.
Jax is a young human woman with short blonde hair, dressed fairly carelessly, but everything is in good condition.
She enters the cantina and looks over the crowd, maybe to find someone interesting to talk to. Spotting what could be an interesting convo, she approaches an astromech droid in the corner, a T0 unit, specifically, and tries to strike up a conversation. In halting binary she says, "Hi there, do you understand basic, it's easier on me than binary, but I understand binary just fine."

As you all wait here at the Frozen Kova, looking expectantly for a Rodian, you see a large mechanical figure enter. Those of you with any recollection of the worst fights in the Clone Wars recognize it: a B2 Series Super Battle Droid. They were markedly stronger than an average Battle Droid, and they should have been disabled. This one enters through a door at the back of the room, scanning the area. Immediately following its entrance, though through a door on the opposite side of the room, enters a yellow skinned Rodian in simple worker's clothes. The Rodian meanders through the room, ordering a drink and having a seat at a corner table.
Lebenha cannot help but gasp when she sees the impressive battle droid entering the cantina. When she sees that it hasn't start firing she breathes again but remain seated. She sees a Twi'lek woman walking and talking to the rodian that entered after the droid and she tries to focus her attention on it.
T0-M80 is excited to hear another can speak is capable of speaking his language, it is his experience that these are the right kind of people to be around. And a pilot by the look of her, you can always tell. Perfect.
*Boop Bip.* - I understand. A pleasure.
When the battle droid enters there is an awkward moment of silence, but when the Rodian enters and takes their seat business seems to be back to usual.
*Doo Da Boop* - Aha. Just the Rodian I am looking for. Excuse me stranger.
With that, the little droid rolls across the room, only to bump into several patrons and a table in its haste, including Nima who beat him there. The bot offers no apologies, but does turn it's emoitonless camera on the young Twi'lek.
Well, I guess I'll follow, thinks Jax. Jax nimbly steps through the crowded cantina, following the droid. Sliding into a seat, she says, "So are you my next employer?"

He watched from his seat as first the battle droid and then the Rodian entered the cantina. He had yellow skin rather than the usual green, but Tal’Rar was not sure this would be enough to qualify him as strange. Well, yellow skin was not strange to him. The war machine scanning the room though, that was a sign of someone with deep pockets expecting to be attacked, either because of enemies or the dangers of workplace. Many a Banshee executive had bodyguards for the same reason. All very skilled on the matters of battle and killing. Maybe it is him.
Before he could be sure a blue skinned Twi’lek approached the Rodian, asking rather explicitly if he was the one looking for hired help. Soon came another woman, this time Human, and a droid, somewhat echoing the doubt he himself held.
Let’s see what he answers. Tal’Rar thought deciding to remain a distant observer for the time being. Things would be different if the Rodian was the one he sought. In this case introductions would be in order. Questions about the job would need to be asked - nature, if it had any time limit, risks, reward - but until there he had no need to call attention upon himself.
The Rodian smiles at Nima, "I am indeed." As T0-M80 and Jax approach he looks a little skeptical, "Well we haven't had quite this turnout in previous days, but yes, I certainly might be your employer." He glances around the room, seeing if any others are approaching before settling back into his seat. ""I will be out here for a moment longer, but if you would like you can make your way into the back room that I've rented," he says, gesturing to the door behind the Super Battle Droid.
Khane walks over towards the rodian as well "I too search for work. I would listen to your proposal as well, if I may."
His voice is far softer and more mellow than his foreboding garments would suggest. He speaks with an odd accent that you cannot place (OOC: It sounds like a soft Scandinavian accent).

Tal’Rar couldn’t hear the entirety of the conversation, but what he heard was enough to know that the man was the Rodian he was waiting. The hirer gesticulated to both women and the droid towards the door where the war machine stood in guard. No doubt a private area to discuss the contract. The man was not stupid enough to openly discuss his business in the middle of the cantina and that was good. But he was searching for help there in the first place, which most likely meant the job he offered was not the kind just about anyone could hear. That could be very bad. As long as it pays well, he thought getting up from his seat.
A humanoid wrapped in cloth approached the Rodian while the blue Twi’lek and the Human move towards the backroom.
“I am interested in hearing more about your proposition.”He says finally approaching. “After you.”
Tal’Rar said indicating that he would enter after the Rodian. His voice was collected, almost gentle. His demeanor unassuming and his expression hard to read. Hopefully, he thought, this is enough to avoid any ambush. If it wasn’t, well, he at least would have chance to kill ambusher. Maybe faster than the battle droid could jump into his owner’s defense.
As Khane approaches the Rodian looks briefly anxious, before attempting a smile and nodding off to the door.
Jax - As you enter the small room, you see a table surrounded by five chairs. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, but at the back of the room you can see another droid. This one is only a B1 Series Battle Droid, much less threatening than the one outside.
Nima - Fairly immediately following Jax's entrance you reach the door and see the same setup and droid.
As Tal'Rar suggests that they head to the back room the Rodian thinks for a second before standing and making his way towards the back room. As he passes the Super Battle Droid he gives it some instruction then continues into the room.
Lebenha sees the small group gathering around the Rodian and they walk towards what it seems a private room in the back side. Another one seems to be joining them and she knows that if she had a chance to get a job it’s now or never. She didn’t like it but hoped the new place had one of the windows she saw on her previous scouting. She walked towards the Rodian and politely called for his attention. “Excuse me. I’ve heard that you may be offering a job. I would like to know more if possible”
She tried to be at the opposite side of the battle droid. That thing was even bigger up close.
