"I've got an idea, and a concern. One reason I came to Wheloon in the first place was to investigate the disappearance of a colleague of mine who deals in books, sometimes quite rare ones. If people are disappearing, he could be one, and I'd like to meet with his wife and check that out too."

"Terms of the payments all's us will be getting around 83 gold and if it's alright I'll be giving the little bit over that to the bar. Rather that our business was not remembered that well." Flaeirn says doling the gold out to everyone. "Colleen right? I can head-on with you if you want to check on her. I don't want to be scaring her if all six of us come on up at once."

Kelmaer looks to the others and says, "Perhaps we should rent a room in the back to establish as a base of operations from now until morning. Keep everything as discrete as possible. Then we can split up as required to take care of tasks before our .... excursion."
A quick conversation with the halfling server reveals that a room at the inn is roughly a 1 gold per night. A larger room with sitting area would be 2 gold per night.
Kelmaer hands Buford a gold piece towards the room tip, then follows to the back room, wine in hand. He pulls out a scrap of parchment and a charcoal pencil to take notes. When everyone else is gathered in private, they can see the beginning of a tasks list with "investigate booksellers' disappearance" & "send early advance team to temple?" written in common towards the top and "full meet at temple ... Time?" written about halfway down the blank sheet. He looks inquisitively towards the others to see if there are any additional suggested tasks.
"I'd say we should definitely look around the place before we head in so we know how to get the hell on outta there if we need to. They won't be able to go ahead and corner us like they did the priest, but I wouldn't count us as all too safe."

Kelmaer looks to Flaeirn and responds, "Agreed. I'm a follower of the Mother, so I volunteer to be with the advance team. I might be able to help spot out-of-place events."
"I would suggest at least one more accompany Colleen to investigate her friend's disappearance. Does anyone have any additional necessities to take care of before late tonight?"
"Excellent." He smile, rubbing his hands together with excitement. "I would need some preparation before we head-out on this mission, give me about an hour or two at dusk. Is that fair with you all?"
Kelmaer notes Seeker Atoll to remain and prep, Colleen to interview about the disappearance, and himself to head to the Temple early, looking to the remaining (3?) party members to declare their intentions.
"Shall we plan to rendezvous at the temple at dusk?"
"I too am a follower of the Mother, but I am not sure if that is a bad or good thing in this instance, given how they treated Dranik. I think it might be a good idea if I do not show up in full regalia. I need to find a way to hide her symbol on my shield."
Kelmaer respond to Buford, "No intention of showing up with any trappings. I am no priest. Nor am I a seamstress or painter, but either could cover the symbol, I believe. Are you coming with me in the advance group?"
Colleen, Buford and Flaeirn depart the inn, making their way toward Amnic Basalt's bookstore, arriving about an hour before dusk. Currently, the store appears closed, though, Colleen has access to a spare key provided by the storeowner's wife.

"We have some time before evening." Buford turns to the waiter. "How much time will it take us to get to the new temple?"
The halfling pauses briefly from his flitting from table to table. "Um, it's on the edge of town. I'd say about 10-15 minute walk from here."

Buford, will accompany Coleen on the first task.

Kelmaer looks at the remaining party members, weighing the wisdom of going by himself if no others seem interested in taking a look in advance.
