Seeker would hum to himself, thinking about his equipment and the situation at hand. "You know what? I'll come as well. Who knows what I'll miss if I stick around in the room preparing, yes?" He'd smile, standing up and stretching as he prepares to follow the others.
As he heads out the door with Atoll and/or Kythaela, Kelmaer reaches into his pouch and performs a quick motion, releasing his will with a word; a quick pulse of azure flashes around him. (casts Mage Armor)
Inside the bookstore, Flaeirn's light illuminates the main room. His quick look notes nothing out of the ordinary. Perhaps a closer investigation is needed.
The others depart for the temple, walking for a bit before coming to a cobblestone path that gradually ascends a low hill toward a steep-sided bluff, behind which runs the Wyvernflow. The path leads to the flat rampart of the whitewashed temple wall built right into the bluff. To the left of the doors stands a large, stylistically simple statue of a woman. A smaller, freestanding stone building stands to the south of the temple.
Kelmaer looks on the scene, and falls to see any group to blend in with. "Maybe we can find somewhere to observe from out here where we can avoid being seen watching. See any comings and goings before we walk into a trap. Perhaps spot some of those archers our erstwhile employer was talking about.".
Buford will say a quick prayer to Mystra then look around the bookstore looking for anything out of the ordinary --which will be difficult, since he is not sure what ordinary would look like.
Calling upon divine assistance, Buford looks about the bookstore. While everything seems to be in place, he notes that furniture and such have been "reset." There are subtle signs that a scuffle took place within the shop. Looking closer, he finds a pamphlet to the city's new template that had fallen into a crack between the floorboards. Upon it, handwritten in the margins, are the words, "Do they really hold Mystra's Sacred Trust???"
(Other group, following people into the courtyard or standing outside entrance of temple?)
(Yes, the gates are open and people are entering , exiting and milling about in the courtyard. Not a great number but between 10-20 at any given point.)
Buford points out the signs of a struggle to Coleen. "I don't want to sound alarmist, but if the temple took your friend, it may be that they took his wife as well."
Buford will start reading the pamphlet to see if it appears consistent with the tenets of the faith.
A quick look at the pamphlet reveals it to be very basic, primarily an invite to people to attend one of the evening services at the new temple. It does list a few core tenets of the faith, which seem to be in line with what Buford knows.
"Oh, I agree with you here, just want to look round myself." Colleen takes a good look around, especially looking for any hidden rooms or compartments. Investigation: 20

Seeker would look around the new temple, flashing a smile to any of the passer-bys who would catch eyes with him to look inconspicuous. Seeker would look at at the ceiling, upper floors, scaffolding, anything that would indicate any sign of a presence up there from the stories he was told. His hand would be almost petting the feathers of the arrows in his quiver.
Kythaela fidgets. "Um, well, if we want to be stealthy, which I'm pretty sure we do so that was dumb of me to say, but anyway, I know a spell that can help with that."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kelmaer looks around, trying to determine the force of arms in the temple area, where the archers and others who were threatening Dranik are bivouacked.
Noitsbecky/Kythaela, yes, we would love to try to be unobtrusive and stealthy, I think. Due to the disjointed nature of Play by Post, I think it's the DM's discretion as to whether or not we can do so.
Kelmaer spots two guards armed with crossbows atop the wall. Watching for a bit, he sees two different pairs of guards making some sort of circuit along the top of the walls as well. In the courtyard, two guards independently walk about nonchalantly, quietly watching visitors to the temple. Seeker, Kelmaer and the others viewing the courtyard notice this wide, walled space is open to the sky. The floor is tiled with obsidian slabs, in which star-shaped white stone tiles are set, mimicking the night sky. Two large stone statues dominate the space, each apparently portraying the same woman. They stand apart from but facing each other, each with hands raised up toward the other, almost forming an arch over the center of the temple. Four small altars to Mystra sit in each corner of the courtyard temple.
Colleen follows up with her own investigation of the bookshop, easily spotting the signs of the scuffle as well. She also notes a few spots of dried blood, most areas cleaned, but these had been partially covered by a scattered pile of books. A few scrapes along the floor and indentions in the bookcovers lead her to believe while a scuffle occurred, someone definitely lost, being knocked unconscious and drug from the establishment.

Kythaela hesitates for another moment, then another, then blurts out with what may be record speed, "I'llgowithyou."

Flaeirn will hold up his staff and cast light on it before looking around the room.
