"For a little while there I thought I might not get out of the way in time. I'm not entirely sure what you did, but thank you." As Jeannette thanked Whistler she smiled softly. When she heard what Spark said she nodded slightly before turning towards the snow, taking a quick breath as she did so. 'This might take a little while but it could be worse... we can do this.' She thought as she looked at the snow. When she heard the thunderous boom she winced slightly but after a couple seconds she began casting Prestidigitation as well to help melt the snow.
Whistler had unstrapped his buckler from his back, ready to use it as a shovel, when he noticed that both Spark and Jeannette were using magic to melt the snow. It didn't seem to be very strong magic, though, so staying out of their way, the bounty hunter took to digging away at the edges of their work.
The Thunderwave propels some snow upwards and out of the way. Spark and Jeannette start carving a pathway through the snow using Prestidigitation, and Nebb's Mage Hand is able to move some snow as well.
A couple of hours later, the path is finally clear. A piece of metal is also visible, sticking out of the snow.
"How did that end up in an avalanche?" After the snow around it is removed, it is clear that the party has found a treasure chest!
"This is a hefty pile of gold. And is anyone interested in this oil?"
Whistler, relieved enough now to focus on the loot, shook his head. "One of ya'll can keep the oil. The coin's 'nuff fo' me."
With that, he began dividing the pile into five smaller ones, 154 gp in each, and with 3 coins leftover. He pocketed his fifth before standing and shrugging, "You led that pretty well there, Sparks; seems like a mighty meagah tip, but I'd vote that extra change go to ya."
Nebb picks up his pile of coin and says “Note to self: try not to bury yourself under an avalanche next time”. “I have no use for the oil, perhaps I’ll see you all around, now I need a drink” and begins to walk back to the tavern
Jeannette hesitates for a moment before taking her pile of coin. "If nobody else wants it I could hold onto it, although I don't know if I'll ever have any use for the oil."
"If nobody else wants it I could hold onto it, although I don't know if I'll ever have any use for the oil."
Whistler shrugged, then smiled. "Looks like s'all yours, then." He then glanced around at the others. "Well, I s'pose I'll be off as well. Good 'venturing with ya'll, mebbe we'll do it again!" And with one last grin and a salute, he turned to head back into town.
You hear a thunderous boom from underneath the snow.
Casts : Thunderwave : to push the snow out from in front of him 10 ft to hopefully create an opening to up above.
(Jeannette did accept the Telekinetic Movement.)

"That works for me." Spark heads back into town with the rest of the group.
In town, they receive an additional 20gp for the safe return of the dwarf, which they presumably split evenly for an additional 4gp each.
