<How? From AC 13 to 20? And what does it have to do with Angus? Reminder, spells don't stack, so 2 shield of faiths is still just a +2. If that was it, it's still AC 17, where is the other +3 from? Im not always tracking player sheet - hp, ac, etc. So forgive my confusion - really need to know though, if it relies on Angus, who I'm botting>
Gravity successfully pilfers some of the gold from the discarded belongings of the transformed wolf. The grey sky has become overcast and a chill rain begins to fall.
"Silly girl, playtime is over. You think you have what you need to live among us, but you don't know the first thing about our kind." He bares his teeth in a cruel grimace.
From behind him, you see them emerge from the rain: the bright yellow eyes of more black wolves. From behind you, the over the pit-patter splash of raindrops more wolves growl.
In a taunting sing-song, the human-form wolf notes with glee "Rule number one: we hunt ... as a pack."
Gravity feels helpless when she realizes the fact that it's quite impossible to deal with so many wolves. She will toss the extracted gold at the injured halflings and start yelling, "What are you waiting for? Fly away, fools!"
She will immediately start to shift and assume a bestial form (Bonus Action); her canines are elongated, the distance between her eyes is increased when her earlobes extend upwards to complete the transformation. "I thought that you'd be interested to know about my origin story and behave like a group of intelligent beings. But, you're driven by your primal urge and unable to think straight."
"Your species can go extinct if you keep committing femicide."

(Socket doesn't have a climbing speed, he's been left behind by Gravity to lurk in the shadows.)
<I gave him a climbing speed, but you can ignore it and not use it if yiu don't like it. I'm just saying this for clarity. Same goes for the camouflage. Con save were for bites, so maybe W6 - moot anyhow due to success.>
The wolves start pulling sockets joints, well, from their sockets as they drag him away into the rain.
The halflings take Gravity's words to heart, scrambling as they half limp-run, half crawl to safety but as they pass the wolf beside them and the other near the exit to alley, they slash at them (ooc, 1 each)
20 for 10
18 for 6
Edited: fixed some typos, as seen below, halflings both made it out of the alley.
OOC (I'm alive! So sorry all for the hiccup in play. I have stared the tiny virus right in its beady little eyes, and I have prevailed! What's the situation?)
The famed halfling luck has saved the pair, it seems, though they leave behind an assortment of woven goods and a bit of gold, they escape with their lives.
<@rob88scps2: Glad you're feeling well. Sam went down, you brought him back up then Chadderlay blasted some guys with a lightning bolt and the crowd went I sane and fled, except one guy who tried to stab Chadderlay (but missed).>
Suddenly the gate slides up, creating a wall between Angus and Sam. It is a lead door, 1 inch thick. Through the open door slithers slowly a sizeable snail 🐌 sporting a scintillating shell. (Magic attacks have DA against it).
DC15 Wis save against the shining shimmering shell-effect (30ft radius) or stunned for 1 round. Creatures who can see the snail have DA on attacks against it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Two dustmen are stunned, but the third throws something at Sam, shouting: "It won't die. 'Tis necromancy, it is!"
Spear 18 for 9
From the shallow water, Sam feels something pulling om his legs, but csnr see anything. It's as if the water is climbing his legs, encircling hus waist, constricting him, but can't quite encircle Sam's large frame.
Putting initiative aside for a moment, what are you planning to do? The meatgrinders patrons are pouring out onto the streets of Wardentown and Chadderlay is being stabbed by a layman. Now there's a flail snail and something in the water.
What's the play?>
<Also, Gravity is up.>
<Still waiting to hear what Tettrevess will do next.>

(Would sam know this is a elemental as it’s his favoured enemy)
he looks at the spear men remaining “you boys aren’t going to live this without my help not with two of them” he starts to move and stand a move away from the new threat “so we doing this or not”
(Angus is on top of the outcropping, so not down on floor level of the arena? and the gate slid upwards, blocking his view of both Sam and Snail? Are there any guards about, and if so, what are they doing?)
The only guards are outside making sure people pay the cover charge. They wouldn't be clamoring to get in but even if they wanted to they'd have to fight their way through a wave of fleeing patrons clogging the doors as they flood the streets of Wardentown.
And yes, Angus is about ten feet above the arena.
The dustman floating upside down above Sam yells "Huh? Two of what? There's just one snail." The spearman beside Sam adds "We've naught to fear from the likes of that slug, arcanist. 'Tis ye it'll mash to pulp. Your magic tricks won't work on it." He calls ou to the distant dustman, "Behind the snail quickly before that caster above can target you, too!"
<Sam can still take an action. I count dislogue as continuous and I wouldn't have asked for the persuasion roll. How hard woukd it be, do you think, for a large creature to scale a ten foot wall?>

Well technically large creature is above 8ft in hight so it won’t be that hight
“eh **** it” sam will move out of the way and try and scale the walls

"You know nothing, John Snow." quips the human wolfbrother, lunging once more to attack.
<It's an old saying in the North>

If any bites land, make a DC 12 Con save.

I didn't get the purple and blue circle cutoffs right, but yoi get the idea, I think. The door blocks them.
