Ereni looks on as far below, the soon-to-be dead men and women disregard the message. Her face conveys pity and envy in a strange mix.
Might be the note could have been touched up a little, Ereni. If your way with words was any better than some troglodyte tanner with a toothache...
She looks at the spell-casters with her in the Roc's basket. "Any of you good with illusions and images? Maybe the sigil of Gandalf or Atreyu or the Infantry near us big enough to see from the ground? They're thinking the note is some ploy by the enemy." But which enemy? Even as she speaks, Ereni realizes that if it were a ploy, then showing a symbol might be a ploy as well. She cannot think of a way to make them trust the note.
"Either way, need altitude fast, at least eight hundred feet. That behemoth has worse breath than old Fat Belwas after a liver and onion breakfast."
She tries to think (not a pretty sight), screwing up her face and scratching Joy behind the ears absently. "Speaking of which. If one of you can make me fly, I can get within six hundred feet of the Tarrasque once Godzilla gets on him and let loose. You all stay safe further up. If he turns around and spends time breathing up at me, well, that's only one dead sad sack archer instead of dozens slaughtered below, and gives Godzilla more of an opening too, could be. Just promise me if that happens, someone take care of the dog for me and give her a nice bone. Maybe mine."
Buildings continue to crumble as Godzilla moves through the dock district and into Chalk Forge in a handful of strides. It steps through piles of rubble still left behind from the Kraken's flood only a few months before, crushing at least one boat that was still stranded after being forced ashore on the waves. It roared, keeping a nervous eye on the Roc circling above the city, and paused for a moment to contemplate what it was seeing when the Tarrasque vaporized part of the wall. Godzilla growls, blue energy crackling up and down its dorsal plates as it watches.
As the Tarrasque continues to press the wall as the defenders begin to figure out what to do next. The soldier with the message looks up at the Roc again, and this time pulls the note free of the arrow and tosses it aside before stuffing the note into their armor. The soldier begins to point, and commands, or what seems like commands, are shouted. The line starts to part. Horse teams are reconnected to the trebuchets as the weapon systems begin to move...
The Roc continues to circle, keeping a respectable height above the chaos below. It becomes more and more clear that the people of Argos had at least anticipated the disaster and had evacuated prior to the attack. The streets remain deserted save for the soldiers who begin to flee the path of the Tarrasque. Horse teams begin pulling trebuchets and ballistas out of the way and falling back to secondary fighting positions well before the creature passes through the wall, crushing what's left of the rubble its beam had devastated.
It stops, just clear of the wall on the other side. Godzilla, however, continues its advance, roaring as its feet crush houses and the sweep of its massive legs and tail create a wake of rubble. Its dorsals continue to flicker with the blue energy, and then it stops. The two titans square off at range, no more than two hundred feet from another. There is the customary exchange of roars, the flickering of Godzilla's dorsals, and the Tarrasque doing its best to show off the sharp spikes that armor its back before finally the Apex utters a final roar and charges.
The Tarrasque sprints to meet him, and spins before Godzilla can get close enough. Its tail lashes out, the spines slashing into Godzilla's thigh but failing to knock the King of the Monster's legs out from under him. The Tarrasque presses its attack, sinking its teeth into Godzilla's side and raking with its claws before being unable to sink its horns into its foe. Godzilla screeches as he steps back, off balance but not taken down. Its back crackles with blue energy before a searing ray of magic and flames spout from its maw, cascading over the Tarrasque's head and back...
...with no effect...
Godzilla roars as the Tarrasque is unhurt and refuses to let go of him, and then his dorsals light up again. This time a pulse of energy radiates from Godzilla, reducing all of the buildings around him and the Tarrasque to cinder and igniting a firestorm in everything left standing. The Tarrasque releases Godzilla and stumbles backwards, its body badly singed. Godzilla kicks out, trying to topple its foe, knocking the beast flat. It crashes into a row of buildings and sends up a plume of dust. Godzilla presses the attack, stomping its downed adversary...
As the fire rages through the non-stone structures of the city, a platoon sized element of soldiers gets cut off by debris and roaring flames...
Malenia watches with anticipation, This primordial clash between two titans would be something seared into her memory for years to come. How often does one witness such a battle, How often are they able to walk away from it. Sinking the Bow and Quiver back into the Bag slung over her shoulder before tucking it back behind her cloak. She folds her arms over her chest and continues to Witness the destruction. Feeling a slight rumble in her stomach, she once more sinks her prosthetic limb into the bag and pulls out part of a ration of food. Sinking her teeth into it and chewing the dry ration slowly.
"I feel out of place, Out of Element. Surely there is something more we can do than just watch from safety."

Cinder reaches out to Ereni and casts Fly. "There you go," she says with a grin. "Have fun! Doesn't last super long though so don't fall out of the sky!" She turns back to watching the fight between the Tarrasque and Godzilla. She seriously doubted that her magic would be of any use against the giant monster. She wasn't told to try to kill the thing, but if Ereni wanted to try she wasn't going to try to stop the archer.

Ereni thanks Cinder with a grin. "Much obliged, flame-thrower. I'll be lucky to last long enough to fall out of the sky."
(She would wait long enough to receive any inspiration Judal might have for her, knowing Stasolya does not approve.)
Ereni shoulders her bow and kneels briefly to give Joy a tight hug and one last scratch behind the ears.
"Might be one of you can blast a path clear for the soldiers down there if there's a safe angle. Or the Roc can pick up debris blocking the way. Dunno. As for me, like I said, if I don't come back, someone feed the old girl here a bone or two for me. Maybe mine if you can find them."
With that, Ereni leaps out of the basket, trying to angle herself to arrive at a spot above and behind the Tarrasque, 600 feet up.
"You're crazy, you know that?" Judal says while putting a hand upon Ereni's shoulder before she goes. "Keep your distance out there, ok? Stay behind it and aim for it's wounds. And keep it between you and Godzilla 'cause you know he won't be worrying about not hitting you..."
Judal pauses a moment to try to think of some argument against Ereni doing this but he has nothing. If he had the range with his magics that she does with her bow he'd be looking to take pot shots as well...
"You are coming back," Judal insists. "There's no dying until your told to..." With that, Judal passes along some inspiration to the crazy bow-slinger and then steps back out of her way.

Watching Ereni jump from their comefortable viewing point ignites a fire within her heels, Surely there is more she can do than just be a spectator. She didnt leave the comfort of the Haligtree just to watch as the world burned around her. Tossing whats left of her ration over to Joy, Malenia takes control of the Roc. Soaring a safe distance above the roaring monsters below. "I cant just sit by and watch this happen." She mutters under her breath, to no one in particular. Directing the Roc to where the soldiers progressed had been hatled by fallen rubble.
Staying at the same altitude, she looks to the rest of Andromeda's Answer. "We were called Heroes, Heroes dont just watch as a city burns." Once above where the Soldiers are, she leaps up close to the edge. Taking one last look at the Answer. "This is the Way."
Malenia jumps off, tucking her arms to her sides and falls straight towards the Soldiers who need aid.

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
"That's the way??" Judal cries out, rushing to the edge of the basket and looking at Malenia fall....
"This is crazy!!" he calls out to nobody in particular and then turns to Joy, says "The ship is yours!" and jumps after her...
Judal is hoping to make himself aerodynamic enough to fall to within 60' of Malenia so he can cast Feather Fall on the two of them before they go splat...
Ereni has the good fortune of sailing to a spot some four hundred feet removed from the battle, landing on top of a tower in the Blackridge district of the city. She finds that she is well within range of her quarry, and that even with it knocked prone by Godzilla, the Tarrasque is still an ample target.
Translation: It's so big that you DO NOT have disadvantage engaging at range.
Joy, being the best girl she is, wags her tail as Judal speaks to her. Judal finds himself hurtling headlong through the air behind Malenia as the two titans clash in the backdrop, their roars and shrieks of pain reverberate the air around the two of them as the Prince closes in with the Jedi. The sail through the air like two missiles, destined to plummet into the midst of the soldiers trapped by flame and rubble...
The Tarrasque is able to push itself up from beneath Godzilla's onslaught, and it turns its face toward the King of the Monsters as it does so. It jaw falls open as it shrieks, and suddenly the purple ray of power jettisons forth. Godzilla is caught off guard as the attack blasts him in the face. There's a crackling sound, and a series of popping explosions over Godzilla's muzzle and the top of his head as flesh is raked away by the sonic scream. This time, it's the King that cries out in pain as he stumbles back. Its hands come up to cover its eyes, and he turns quickly, swinging his huge tail out in an effort to gain some ground between himself and his foe. Debris flies past the Tarrasque before the tail slams into the Tarrasque's legs. The Tarrasque stumbles back, kicking up clouds of dust and rubble, but doesn't fall...
Ereni descends at a dash through the air, having gotten at least a little accustomed to airborne travel on the Carpet of Flying during the Battle of Hagsgate. That is about the only thing she is accustomed to, however, as Argos crumbles around her in apocalyptic flames and eldritch energy.
What is it with these titanic, world-ending monsters? The Red Bull, the Tarrasque, Godzilla. Setting everything on fire, blasting things away with lightning or sonic energy, destroying cities. It's like old Dywen used to complain back in the Infantry. If someone had just read Vader a nice bedtime story back when he was a tyke, might we could all have been enjoying an ale at a cozy tavern instead of dying in the wreckage and ashes and muck.
Taking a moment to touch the dirt atop the tower on which she lands, she realizes she is closer than intended to the behemoth battle. What is the difference between four hundred feet and six hundred? Nothing at all, Ereni. Unless it gets you noticed, in which case it's probably your last mistake.
She is out of range for Hunter's Mark. Knowing it will take everything she has to pierce the Tarrasque's mountainous hide, she decides not to go for the kill shot as she usually would and instead fires in the general area of wounds made by Godzilla (NOT using -5 to hit / +10 damage). Waiting until just the moment that the Tarrasque stands back up to present the largest target possible.
Ereni'sAttack #2 with Longbow, +3 and magic arrows: To Hit: 14 + 14 = 28 Damage: 1d8 + 11 = 6 + 11 = 17 magical piercing
Ereni'sAttack #3 (due to Dread Ambusher on first round of her combat) with Longbow, +3 and magic arrows: To Hit: 12 + 14 = 26 Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d8 (Dread Ambusher) = 5 + 11 + 7 = 23 magical piercing
Ereni quickly ducks behind the roof, ready to Fly a few rooftops over, spiraling away from the battle as she goes. Hoping to distract the Tarrasque without it knowing where the distraction is coming from. Briefly she wonders if Malenia ended up jumping to save the trapped soldiers.
Malenia, plummeting towards the quickly approaching ground with a steady resolve keeping her nerves in check. Look's behind her to see that Judal had followed her. Her finger points in his direction, sending him a Message of her intent. "Stay close Judal, I will catch us."
Moving her attention back towards what would be certain death, Malenia curls her body into a ball and extends her legs down towards the earth. Her heart beating like a drum in her ears, she waits for the opportune moment as her Prosthetic hand slowly stretches out, palm facing up. Once within 80-ish feet of the ground, the metallic fingers curl inwards and a gentle force, akin to that of Feather fall rapidly slows their descent to but a fraction of what it was only seconds before. Preventing certain death for the Jedi and the new member of Andromeda's answer.
Perhaps they're rename a waterfall after me? The thought flashes through his brain as he plunged downward - So quickly downward! But even as the thought occured he knew it would never happen, that nobody would even know what became of him. That, though... That was kind of freeing.
As he fell Judal keep looking from Malenia to the ground and back again. He had gotten her Message in his head and his response had been something like "Huh? Wha?? How?? Wha?? This is crazy!!!" Not the most useful of replies, no matter what it had actually been. But he trusted her to do as she said... Even as he grabs the chain he wears about his neck, specifically the amulet with the raised copper symbol upon it that he often uses as a magical focus. He trusted her, but the ground was coming up to meet them quickly and he wanted to be prepared. Just in case.
Well past when he would have prefered to cast the spell himself... Well past when he thought he would have lost this game of chicken and cast it himself... Malenia indeed catches them! Judal isn't exactly sure how but he is caught and carried downward far more gently than gravity would allow for... "Thanks..." he manages, eventually. He even forces a smile. "Never doubted you for a second..."
Setting down onto the ground with a slight hop, Malenia ensures Judal has touched ground as well before lowering her hand. "You didnt? I did, never tried that before." Her voice is cold and without emotion, not a hint of levity to suggest she may have been joking. In fact one could argue that Malenia may not know what a joke is.
Turning on her backfoot, Malenia moves towards the rubble blocking the Soldiers. Her knee's slightly bend as her Prosthetic hand curls into a fist, she reels her arm back and throws it forward, as if throwing a huge right hook. A cascading force jettisons out from her fist, Humming and warbling into the air as it crashes against the rubble. A Wave of Force batters and shifts the rubble, hopefully enough to
Using 2 Ki points for Force Push, hoping to remove or dislodge the rubble blocking the Soldiers.
The arrows sink into a gash in the Tarrasque's neck and the monster shrieks. It whirls, first like it's going to turn directly toward Ereni, but then snaps its teeth like its trying to get to the pain in the wound. Then it reaches up with its arm, trying to rake the wound, to rake whatever mosquito had assailed it.
Godzilla capitalizes on the opportunity and surges forward, but the Tarrasque is turning too quickly for the Apex to sink its gnashing teeth into the monster's neck. Godzilla's tail lashes out but misses, before one of its claws sinks into his foe's side. The Tarrasque clumsily tries to jam its horns into Godzilla's side but misses...
The clash of the titans rages as Judal and Malenia fall through the air, descending rapidly toward the clearing where the trapped soldiers wait for salvation. There is a frantic, though well organized scrambled, as they try to clear their way through the debris in a manner that opens things up for them before the firestorm, slowly growing in circumference, when the two heroes land. Malenia's Force attack doesn't quite clear a way through...but it knocks a huge hole in a section of debris that is suddenly not an insurmountable wall.
"May the Goddesses bless you!" One of the soldiers, a leader of some sort, utters to Malenia before flooding soldiers into the rift to finish clearing rubble.
The ground shakes beyond them, and the air itself roils with the sounds of the monster's combat. Their roars shake bones and roll through heads like the hammer of colossal war drums. It's almost enough to deafen them...
For the briefest instant, as the Tarrasque turns towards her from hundreds of feet away, Ereni is at peace.
She knows if she were closer, the monster's gaze would evoke sheer terror, but from this far away, she sees only her own death approaching like an old, lost friend. A pleasant sensation suffuses her and she relaxes, as if allowing herself to sink into a warm evening bath after a day that has lasted too long. Letting herself go, floating lighter than the feathers which fletch her arrows...
The moment passes as quickly as it had come. The Tarrasque and Godzilla lock into melee once more. Ereni has never been one for baths anyway.
She begins to Fly once more, circling the titanic clash and spiraling slightly away from it, 60' to the next rooftop. She decides to hide so her next attack will be less expected than otherwise. More arrows like mosquitoes to deliver slight wounds and distractions that might tip the balance.
Ereni'sStealth to hide on the next rooftop over, behind whatever cover she can find so the Tarrasque doesn't know where she is: 20 (dirty)
"Woah!" Judal cries out, ducking and covering his head. A moment later, seeing all is safe, he rises back upright. "Warn a person, eh? Just flinging around rocks all willy nilly in the midst of a battle of such monsters? I thought maybe one was coming right at us!" He's obviously more embarassed than angry but can one blame him for being on his last nerve?
"Nice work though..." he adds nonchalantly.
Judal finds little real help to add but he does what he can to act as a sort of traffic cop and to keep everyone moving in the right direction. A shove here, a point there, some Dancing Lights indicating the way and a gentle push into forward motion with the help of being temporary Friends is about all he can really see to do to be helpful. His blade was certainly no help here... But help is help so he did what he could.
"Focus your efforts on the smaller one, Godzilla is an ally in this, Sent by Atreyu and Gandalf to rid Hyboria of the Tarrasque." Malenia mentions to the soldier who addressed her. Watching as Judal begins to direct the soldiers, she peeks over her shoulder. Before taking off to the nearest high ground, hoping to get a better view on the carnage erupting from the clash of the titans and for any sign sign that Ereni has not yet met with a terrible fate.
Her gaze falls on the still circling Roc, far overhead. She grits her teeth and clenches her jaw, turning back to her search for her fellow scout.
The two behemoth's turn in a circle as they grapple. Houses are reduced to dust and rubble. Roads are cratered beneath massive footfalls. The two monsters roar and scream as horrendous wounds are inflicted. The Tarrasque appears to be more of a challenge than Godzilla had anticipated; it's clear that sleeping beneath the Triforce of Courage for so many trine has made his foe something he is not used to.
The Tarrasque crams its horns into Godzilla's abdomen. Blood gushes, covering the streets below as the two creatures turn their circles. The Apex screams and sinks its claws into the Tarrasque's head, pulling it free. The Tarrasque surges forward, sinking its teeth into Godzilla's arm and shaking savagely, and refuses to let go even as the King of the Monsters struggles to get free. Godzilla screams again, even as the Tarrasque digs one claw into one of the open wounds on Godzilla's abdomen, and uses the other to slice at the King's arm.
The two behemoth's turn, and Godzilla's tail stick between the Tarrasque's feet, knocking it off balance. It release's Godzilla's arm as it stumbles back and falls, its massive form crashing down in the firestorm less than sixty feet from Judal and Malenia. Debris flies into the crowd of soldiers as the Tarrasque shrieks. The sky lights up blue as Godzilla's fins crackle with energy before blue fire rakes across the Tarrasque's exposed belly. Heat bakes the two warriors and the fleeing soldiers as it radiates from the attack. Godzilla gets in close, stomping the proned Tarrasque before turning and crashing its huge tail into its fallen prey. As Godzilla turns back toward the Tarrasque it leans forward and sinks its teeth into the monster's neck, returning the favor of the shaken arm by savaging the creature's throat.
As Judal, Malenia, and the soldiers flee, a glance back over their shoulders reveals huge, person-sized parasites crawling out of the gaps in the Tarrasque's armored carapace to flee the carnage of the battle. And the first thing they do is start pursuing those who flee, taking their opportunity to feed something a little softer than a Tarrasque...
From her dark hiding spot amidst the wreckage of Argos' rooftops, Ereni prepares to loose two more arrows at the Tarrasque just as she sees shapes (parasites?) exit the very wound she is aiming for and pursue the fleeing soldiers. She looks for Malenia among the distant crowd but does not see her.
Unsure why she has a lump in her throat, she whispers her usual gallows humor to herself, face wan as always. "It's like old Dywen said back in the Dragontail Narrows as we retreated from Vader and got flanked by orcish light cavalry riding direwolves. If only these new horrors would kill us so we finally get to rest. Probably bloody damn cherubs and unicorns with rainbows shooting out of their arses, instead. Just our luck."
Almost. Almost. She wavers and considers switching targets to the parasites. Ensure the Tarrasque is defeated. All right Atreyu, you bloody bastard.
Attack 1: on Tarrasque with advantage from being hidden and 3d20s from Elven Accuracy. Using Favored Foe 1d6 but not the +5/-10 from Sharpshooter. To Hit: 25 Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d6 = 5 + 11 + 4 = 20 magical piercing
Attack 2: on Tarrasque straight roll. No Favored Foe as it only applies to one attack per turn. To Hit: 23 Damage: 1d8 + 11 = 3 + 11 = 14 magical piercing
Starting to fly again, spiraling out erratically like a gnat, Ereni reaches another rooftop cloaked in the darkness, 500' out from the titanic battle.
Ereni looks on as far below, the soon-to-be dead men and women disregard the message. Her face conveys pity and envy in a strange mix.

Ereni's Attack #1 with Longbow, +3 and magic arrows:
To Hit: 11 + 14 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d6 (Favored Foe) = 3 + 11 + 5 = 19 magical piercing
Ereni's Attack #2 with Longbow, +3 and magic arrows:
To Hit: 14 + 14 = 28
Damage: 1d8 + 11 = 6 + 11 = 17 magical piercing
Ereni's Attack #3 (due to Dread Ambusher on first round of her combat) with Longbow, +3 and magic arrows:
To Hit: 12 + 14 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d8 (Dread Ambusher) = 5 + 11 + 7 = 23 magical piercing

Judal falls...
A Wave of Force batters and shifts the rubble, hopefully enough to

free the Soldiers who had been trapped.
Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny

Ereni's Stealth to hide on the next rooftop over, behind whatever cover she can find so the Tarrasque doesn't know where she is: 20 (dirty)

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny

DM of AURYN: The Measure of Devotion - Escape from New York
To Hit: 25
Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d6 = 5 + 11 + 4 = 20 magical piercing
Attack 2: on Tarrasque straight roll. No Favored Foe as it only applies to one attack per turn.
To Hit: 23
Damage: 1d8 + 11 = 3 + 11 = 14 magical piercing
Starting to fly again, spiraling out erratically like a gnat, Ereni reaches another rooftop cloaked in the darkness, 500' out from the titanic battle.
