Mr. Bolger files Ban's letter and tells him, "Dock 9."
As everyone else in party and other adventurers in the Sour Barnacle turn in their letters, they're all assigned dock numbers. When finished, Mr. Bolger says, "Any further questions?"
Most adventurers leave the bar after getting their number, there are only a handful of people left in the bar, most appear to be regular patrons. Bolger and Sogg depart after receiving nothing further.
The human man who walked in earlier with a cloak makes his way over to the bar where you're all sitting and orders a rum from Leodel. You can literally smell the salt and sand on him as he says in a very grizzled voice, "If any of you has dock 16, be there in the morning. You're getting the best boat and captain in the fleet. Don't be late now, you wouldn't want Sogg and his goons hunting you down." Leodel indicates Raphael received it with a hand gesture. "Ah, well you're lucky. The other vessels will either get nothing done, or sunk." He is wearing a very old and worn brown cloak and grey clothing that is equally old and unkempt. He wears a white, slightly dirty cap with an anchor emblem on it and a dark bandana around his head. His face is slightly wrinkled, showing his experience and has an unkempt grey beard, looking to be in his mid 50's or early 60's. He downs his rum quickly, pulls the cloak over his head and starts to leave, but says to Leodel, "Make sure this guy makes it there tomorrow eh? If he's staying here of course."
Leodel says to him, "I could be mistaken, but these folk seem to be acquainted with each other already. If nothing else, something tells me they may work well together."
He unveils his cloak again and eyes all of you at the bar. The man says, "You're the only group in that whole sorry excuse for sailors to be sitting at the proper place in a tavern. That's a good sign, plus if Leodel here approves then I will trust him. So you all are together eh? Well, if you weren't, you are now. All of you meet me at dock 16 in the morning. If you can't find it just look for the finest boat anchored. The name is Quint, and 'I will see you all in the morning." Quint covers his head with his cloak and departs, appearing to not have much time or interest for small talk.
Leodel says to you all, "Guess that's that. I've known Quint for many years and he's a good man. Not to mention easily the best captain I've seen. Just spent too many years at sea. If I were you all, I would take him up on the offer. Don't worry about your different assignments, he'll think of something. Also, If you're needing rooms for the evening, I have open ones upstairs that are small, but clean and comfortable. I'll rent them out for 5 silver each. You won't find a better deal anywhere else for decent accommodations...so is there anything else I can do for you all?"
As Leodel is talking about the price if rooms, Raphael is shoveling through his coin purse and slides over another 25 sp in a neat stack. As he receives his room key, he grabs another piece of the sourdough, casually salutes the group and heads upstairs to a room for a roost.
"Thanks I was going to ask to be put with Ban but if you think Quint can get us together I don't mind working with the others."As he sees Raphael get his money out "You know you don't have to pay for Ban and I, the tab was enough."

Once Xander is in his room with his chest he will lock the room and head back down stairs to talk to the bar keep.
"I had a question that maybe you can answer. Does this town have any slaves? I am looking for my siblings, it happened along time ago but I know they are alive... A source told me so. They should be about my age." Xander will describe them as they should look if they were older.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grol wanders down to the dock 16 area and finds an inconspicuous place to settle in out of sight and keeps an eye on the goings on at the dock. Perception: 12
Grol enters a meditative state and casts Sanctuary on himself.
You turned in your paperwork and in the end we're grouped together with everyone else. Right now you're just getting settled in for the night to prepare for arriving at dock 16 in the morning.
Leodel takes the money for the rooms, gives you all a key for your rooms as you make your way upstairs to get settled in for the night. Your rooms are a bit on the small side, but they have everything you need—comfortable bed, desk with a chair, small wardrobe for your clothes, and a chest locked with your room key to store your possessions. Your rooms have a small, square window that can be partially opened to allow in fresh air.
Raphael:
with your perception roll, you see a few people walking on the road and you think you see a large figure, but don't get a look before you see them walk down a side street a block away.
Xander, as others are settling in for the night, you make your way downstairs to find Leodel cleaning up the place before closing up for the night. "No I can't say I've seen anyone matching that description. As for slaves in town, that is technically illegal, but I know in the Boil there are people who might as well be called as such. If you're adamant about finding information on their whereabouts then I would check there, however, I strongly advise against venturing to that part of town, especially at this hour. It is so bad that even the local town watch has no presence there so it's effectively ran solely by bandits and murderers. Only those with questionable business go there on a regular basis. If you decide to venture there at some point, come back to see me and I'll ask around to see who might be willing to guide you through there. I hope you find news of them."
If everyone is finished with their business for the evening, Leodel will close up the Sour Barnacle, save for one overnight attendant, as you all get a good night's sleep.
Milo goes to the others after he hears what Quint says. "So we will stay together? Well, that will be awesome i think! And 16 is a better Number than 4 dont you think? We will have a great time together, and maybe you will get some other storys about Gilbert. There are so many i could tell you. Well but now i will go to sleep for today. We will see each other tommorow" Again he doesnt wait for some answers and goes straight to his room.
The next day Milo will have a good breakfast. Then he makes his way to Dock 16 and whistles a cheerful melody on the way there. The good mood doesn't seem to have left him.

"I see well since I'll be going out to sea tomorrow you mind finding a contact for me when I return. I'd appreciate..." Xander will spend the night drinking the moonshine talking to his fiend Patron Oriax. "You said they'd be here! How long do you plan on leading me! Leave me a sign damn it!"
As you all wake up in the morning from a good night's sleep, you can see out your bedroom windows that it is quite sunny and the town is already bustling with activity. Many people are headed to the docks nearby and others are opening up shops. There are people from all walks of life outside, ranging from few homeless individuals sitting with a cup in front of them, a musician playing a violin for donations, others carrying supplies from the docks to shops and further down the road into all directions, a couple well-off looking individuals walking together talking, and a few groups of people leaning against buildings doing nothing in particular.
You all eat breakfast in the Sour Barnacle and prepare to set out.
Leodel says to Xander, "As luck would have it when I was on my way here this morning, I ran into an acquaintance who routinely has dealings in the Boil. He vaguely recalled ones who may fit the description you gave me, but he wasn't sure. His name is a man called Seth Appleby and he runs the Rusty Nail, a smithy and weapon supply shop in the commercial district. He offered to speak with you further on the matter if you stop by his shop. Just be careful, his shop is near the Boil and he's been questioned for shady business dealings several times. So it's not exactly safe. I'd take friends with you."
Raphael, Leodel says, "The Pig Iron Piton has a small selection of common potions. It's a bit of a one-stop shop, but if you need something specific I'd try Shaa's Trinkets & Herbs shop. It's near the Piton." He discreetly says to you:
"The tab for the bar is 5 gold, would you like to pay that now?"
As you all get ready to leave, he says "Safe journey to you all. Quint should be waiting for you so I'd check in with him before you do anything. He'll likely have you pick up some last minute supplies and give you a chance to stock up on anything you need."
If you need to ask Leodel anything else, then go ahead and ask and responses will be given later
After concluding business at the Sour Barnacle, you all make your way towards the docks and you see Quint and a young looking man pulling a cart headed your way before you find #16. Quint says, "Ah what luck, I need you all to pick up some last minute supplies for the boat. Go ahead and do that first then head down to the boat, it's at the very end of the docks."
He takes out a piece of parchment with a list of supplies such as foodstuffs, wooden planks and nails, parchment paper and writing tools, candles, and other assorted items. "Take this cart and go get the stuff. If you need additional basic supplies for yourselves, the limit is 15 gold per crew member. I have a line of credit at the Pig Iron Piton from the city of Black Root so get what you need there, otherwise you'll have to pay. If you need to do any business in town, do it before you make your way back to the ship. Be back there in the afternoon at the latest, otherwise we will miss the tide."
Quint holds it out for someone to take it, leaves you the cart, while him and the sailor walk further down the docks back in the direction where they came.
Milo dashes off to immediately back the way you came humming along just as Quint leaves, but you aren't sure where he's going since he did not say. He is roughly 60 ft away and continues walking. You think you should be able to follow him at a distance with the cart. What would the rest of you like to do?
OOC: Milo, we will jump to you at the Piton in a bit.
As we walk to the shop Xander will ask the group for help. "I need some help with a problem after we're done getting supplies. It seems information I need is near the bad part of town. If you could just walk with Ban and I would appreciate it."

if Milo can hear what Xander is asking:
As soon as Milo hears that, he turns around. "Oh...Do I hear right? You need some kind of Information? Sounds like an interesting story. Maybe i can help! I'm a bard who travel a lot. I know many people and stuff. What kind of Information do you need?" He seems to be really interested. But well...he really often looks interested.
OOC: Necmo, you know about my background. Do I Know maybe someone from my faction here in this town who i can get the Information (usually bards or people who are in very social positions)? Information is the precious thing for my faction...so if anyone is here it can help. Or maybe i know something myself?
