She aims at the one on Piers Attack: 22 Damage: 10 She shouts an insult at the creature hovering over Drux "Your father was a rot gub! And your mother was a rotted root!"hoping, only just slightly, to get it to come after her, to give Drux a chance to attack.(AOO) She steps back undercover in the same hiding spot but failing to hide.
(Note: she'll use her shifting feature as an reaction to move10 foot away without an AOO when the Scarecrow ends its turn. And she gets 3 temp hp.)
S2 Action: Slice and Dice Multiattack on Piers. Strike #1 - To Hit: 16 Damage: 6 nonmagical slashing. (16, 6) Miss. Strike #2 - To Hit: 23 Damage: 6 or 2 auto-failed death saves if somehow downed by the first attack. (23, 6+Crit Damage below) Crit Damage: 7. If hit but NOT previously affected by fear(which he would be), make a DC 11 Wisdom Save or become frightened of the scarecrow until the end of the scarecrows next turn. If feared, you have disadvantage on all attack rolls and ability checks while within view of the scarecrow.
If downed, need a Death Save(Flat d20) from Piers as part of the start of his turn.
Druxacmil fought to stay even remotely conscious. But as what little of his world view grew increasingly dim and grey, the inevitable moment for all mortal races finally came for him as well. So it was that he drifted off hearing what vaguely sounded like a call from Piers before his world truly went dark...
With final slam of thorny staff,Piers severs the spine of the scarecrow. After falling to the ground in two pieces, it let out what almost sounded like a sigh of relief, before deflating and reverting into the ordinary remains of a scarecrow. Albeit one still loosely wielding the bloody scythe and stinking to high heavens like a fresh corpse. But focus had by then immediately shifted towards Drux, calling for the Dragonborn to rise one more. Yet no matter how impassioned the speech or how filled the wind had been with power called upon in that moment, only his clothes faintly flutter as the rogue continued to lie still...
Stepping out once more from the shadows, a more feline in at least the eyes Cat fires another clean hit on Drux' killer(seeing as Piers had slain his own). But while her following insult had certainly garnered the remaining scarecrow's attention, as well as even a scowl, her departure this time for cover meant missing a key shift in its attention after.
As the last remaining scarecrow looked as if it would climb the chicken coop if need be to reach the spunky rogue, it hesitated for a second, and looked over to its fallen comrade. Then it's malevolent gaze turned towards the one responsible. The one it perhaps remembered in that moment had healed Drux before, and seemed to be wielding a far more effective weapon than the bowman treating him like a pincushion. That's when it gave a look that appeared to Piers to say 'You first' before it altered its course and sprung over to start cutting the druid to pieces!

Two down. One more to go. But so confident had the last scarecrow been in thinking Cat would run, least its wrath would be directed to her, that it left its back to where she'd been to focus on gloating over the body of Piers. It would never hear her approach or pick up the warning growl until it was too late. A final stab severed whatever amounted to a spine of the creature, causing it too to collapse at her feet.
She turned then to Piers, and the two are able to exchange at least a few words before seriousness of Piers own condition fully registers, prompting Cat to at first kneel and try to help. At which point...
"I still don't understand why you insisted upon staying while that -thing- was stuck. I could've handled it well enough and -without- getting clawed to death in the process!" Idoza said, her voice cutting through the rampant shifting off stalks as she and another made their way back through the crops and closer to the others. "Feh! I was fine, princess powderkeg. And who are you to try order me around?" Gruk barks back just as the pair of them step into view. While Gruk looked absolutely cut up to hell and back, Idoza appeared a little more exhausted than anything else.
Idoza starts to reply, but after nearly stumbling over the wall, she only then took in their surroundings in full. Seeing Cat hovering over Piers, the cleric mutters a curse as she scrambled over the wall and hurried to druid's side. "They really did a number on you, huh, hun?" She said with a weak smile as the hand resting on Piers chest began to glow with a warm light, mending at least some of the druid's wounds.
(Using healing hands to restore 2 HP to Piers.)
"Hey. Where the **** is Drux? He run off or something? Oh is he already shaking down that old **** in charge this farm."Gruk called from his seat on the wall, unable to see the fallen Dragonborn around the front half of the coop.

Hanging her head and looking solum Cat remains silent, she walks over to see if Drux is dead she wonders if she could use the charm on him... 19 Medicine check
Piers awakens and scrambles to his knees, crawling over toward Drux. Slowly, he reaches out two fingers to his neck, and feels it. Feeling nothing, he closes his eyes, and stands.
"He's... gone, Gruk. He's gone. I'm sorry."
Walking back to the campsite, Piers retrieves Drux's blanket, which he wraps the dragonborn in.
"We'll borrow a horse-cart from the farmer, to carry him. I'll become the horse and pull us all back toward the city."
He attempts to hoist Drux onto his shoulder and carry him back to the farmhouse. There, he sets him down and knocks on the door.
After picking up the bow Cat follows, helps if necessary, tears in her eyes "I wonder what kind of funeral Drux would want? I heard a popular one is a funeral prier or maybe even sending his body on a burning boat to sea."
She stops suddenly
"Errr, shouldn't we search the monsters? And make sure they're dead?"

"I don't know, Cat. He has family back in the city, I think. He must have someone. It'll be up to them."
When she mentions searching the monsters, Piers nods. He magically enhances his senses, making sure he misses nothing among the remains of the scarecrows that might be notable. Perception: 10
Once that's done, he gathers the battered scarecrows, moves to a clear spot, and lights their straw bodies up with his tinderbox.
"Dead. Let's tell the farmer we're done, and head back."
Earlier, Cat reached out with the charm, hoping beyond hope any latent wonders might breath life back into Drux. Unfortunately beyond causing his body to go slack once more from surprisingly early symptoms of rigor mortis, her charm failed to do anything more.
Meanwhile, Gruk rolled his eyes and snorted seeing Piers crawling, muttering something along the lines of, "Drama Queen." Idoza is on the other hand a bit more sympathetic, and would try to offer at least to help Piers up. Even if not accepted, her gaze naturally drifted ahead to where he intended to go, finally spotting the body of Drux. "Oh no..." She murmurs; the earlier relief in seeing Cat and Piers alive draining immediately from her face.
It at that point between her shocked look and Piers comment that Gruk finally got off the fence to peak around the bend. "Damn... at least he went down fighting."Is Gruk's only remark before wandering off back to the campsite, presumably either to start packing up or lay back down leaving the group to handle the mess.
Back to Piers, retrieving Drux blanket is simple enough. But actually shifting the Dragonborn about is another thing entirely. Thankfully by that point Idoza seemed to have regained her composure and would help out Piers; especially where it came to carrying the dragonborn, as the druid simply lacked the strength to do so alone.
While eventually being made to wait for someone to answer the door, the folk inside likely have been woken up by the noise but too terrified to immediately act, Piers falls back to examine the scarecrows alongside Cat. Neither of which have moved since as whatever animating force seemed to have left them altogether. He would notice as well a small mixture of various organs -- most of which were human -- were interwoven into the scarecrows in addition to other knickknacks and oddities. The result of an all too likely occult methods to animate the scarecrows in the first place.
Regardless, Piers(and Cat, if joining him) would need to go out in the field to grab the third scarecrow Idoza and Gruk fought, but is able to find a clear enough spot closer to the driveway to get their bonfire going. At some point around thent the old man farm owner finally peeks out with a roller in hand and raised in readiness to defend himself. "Is.. Is it done? W-we heard the screeching a-and thought the wor-" He stops, peering past Idoza(having dutifully kept by the door) and down to the small bonfire being lit up further down the lane. "What in the-- Hey! Whoa, whoa, whoa! What in the nine are you doing? Why is there a fire going? And -- a-and is that a dead body!?"He asks stepping out fully and looking frantically between everyone and just about everything as his eyes apparently adjusted more to the dim lighting.

Piers looks into the farmer's eyes. "We've dealt with the scarecrows that were killing off your livestock. It... killed one of us. I'll need to borrow one of your horse-carts; it'll be brought back within the day. The bonfire is to burn the scarecrows, make sure they're dead."

Piers, you meanwhile try to further wrap up Drux body after further removing a few personal affects, but even Drux's blanket could only do so much.
Nonetheless, Piers does his best, and with the combined effort of a solemn Idoza and perhaps agitated Cat, the three of you see him gently placed in the back of a cart. "I don't wish to sound cold or cruel, but... that is not what they said." Idoza finally speaks up. "They warned us the job was dangerous, but not outside what we could handle. She expresses, but at any looks of confusion or dissent she adds quickly, "I hate to say it loves, but the gates -are- closed at night with no exceptions for entry until morning. Or at least, no exceptions would be made for us." She admits before sighing. After staring at the body for a few quiet moments, she finally speaks up again. "...I... I don't know if it'll work and I would need some help to even try, but I think... I could -try- to reach out to him in the meantime. To Drux' spirit and to maybe talk with him, at the very least.
