"It takes a very bold or stupid spy to be caught with poeple you don't know, when your friengs are sacking a town. He is probably innocent, keep an eye on him, but lets go help the town."
As I finish talking I roll a Perception check 11 looking for for the closest drake or lizard and if in range (80 ft./320 ft.) take a shot at it, if not run closer. I do have nightvision
(How do you make quotes blue?)
(When you have the post controls visible in landscape, you can change font color. Generally people will each pick a color for their character to make it more obvious when they're actually talking)
(Not sure if there's a problem with my phone or if Android is different from IOS, but the color palette may or may not work. I've tried it served times. I will stick to Bold when I talk.)
I found that the color palate appears way off screen in the right corner when I touch it, it is rather difficult. But once you select your color then all you have to do is highlight the text then hit the color button again.

Every time I try my keyboard gets in the way. And I can't figure out how to save the color, either the cursor is green and now how do I get it back to black. It takes 3 to 10 minutes to manually change it.
(If you rotate the phone landscape it SHOULD show all of the posting controls at the top of the text box. It can be a bit hard to use sometimes since a lot of the screen ends up covered up)

While you saw several such creatures on your approach to the city, as you make your way into the city itself none are currently visible.
The group enters the city on a seemingly deserted street and starts moving deeper into town. Without warning, five humans dash out from between two buildings on your left. A limping man and three young children race across the street into more shadows, and a woman carrying a round shield and a broken spear turns and faces back in the direction from which they came. Eight kobolds stream out of the alley on the family’s heels and fan out around the woman, who looks determined to delay the creatures for as long as possible.

I shot the kolbold closest to the to me (if there is one between me and the woman) or the one closest to the children if not. Attack: 6 Damage: 8 (not sure how to add sneak attack damage to the roller, not sure if I have advntage or not for this shot)
ok I think I have figured out how to add sneak attack damage. I need to add a + and then do a basic 1d6
Yah. a sneak attack would be something like [roll ]1d4+1d6[/roll ] (for a dagger attack). And a heads up for doing real rolls in the future, you can't edit existing rolls or you get the red "manipulated dice warning" message up there (to prevent people from cheating). You also can't add new dice rolls before existing ones in an edit (any new dice rolls have to go at the end). So if you forget sneak attack for instance, just do an extra 1d6 roll at the end of the post and indicate it's extra damage for the attack. If you roll with the wrong bonus number on an attack or damage roll, just note after the roll what the right number should be.
The kobolds are so intent on chasing their prey that they don't even notice the group of adventurers until Dawn's arrow slams into one of them, dropping it instantly. As they start to turn to take in the new threat, Rocksmasher arrives and cuts down a second one. You see some the confidence begin to drain from their faces as a quarter of the group is cut down in seconds.
(I don't see anything about surprise round giving advantage for Dawn, so no sneak attack this shot. Didn't need the extra anway. Since the kobolds were intent on the humans they were chasing, you guys get a surprise round, so we just need turns from Pops and Deekin, plus their initiative rolls to move into the full combat)
3 is there a way to do it in the mobile version?
Deekin, Kobold Bard (2) in Hoard of the Dragon Queen
Ix'altha, Kobold Rogue (1) in Shackled City
"I can barely see through all of this smoke!" Deekin strains his eyes (can darkvision help me with this roll?) 8
Deekin, Kobold Bard (2) in Hoard of the Dragon Queen
Ix'altha, Kobold Rogue (1) in Shackled City
(you have to write out the equation in the post ie: [roll]1d20[/roll[ except you close the bracket at the end.)
I got alot a doods
Groovy thanks. And to forewarn everyone I work a night shift so I may be a little late on my posts.
