Before you lies the sprawling city of Meletis, with its majestic architecture. People from all across Theros walk around in the busy market. As you enter the city, merchants call out to you offering assorted goods, ranging from golden jewlery to barrels of wine. On every corner you see impressively armed warriors, bearing spears and swords. As you admire the wonderful city, each of you is suddenly struck by a message from your god. (All messages from the gods will be in dms, and in the future I won't announce them here.) After you gather your thoughts, the day is yours. It is around noon, and the day is clear, without a cloud in the sky.

Yes Keranos I hear you and I will do as you ask. Witas Duskwoon takes a moment to clean his clothes with prestidigitation"Best make a good impression. I suppose I can explore the market and see if there is anything of interest"
Witas Duskwood appearance except a bit older in his late 30's
Of Course Thassa, thank you for the warning. I use Druidcraft to create a weather tracker. "This might come in handy." I approach Feloren, the Rogue Triton, to say something important.
Nagas Enzelrath's appearance. Although not a bard, he's always had an interest in music and likes to play the lute.
"Come on, Reygon. Help me look for some sheet metal, I've got another project inmind." The small, 4'9" satyr walks through the bustling market grounds. Ino shies away from most vendors, wanting to keep all interactions at a minimum. He drags his brother through the market, curly rust-colored hair and white fur glow in the sun's rays. He's young. Dressed in only a modest tunic that reaches his knees and wearing a pair of leather welder's gloves, he carries a Bag of Holding and not much else. He surveys the area around him, trying to find his usual metal supplier, when he stops in his tracks. Wide-eyed and in a trance, he stays like this for a minute or two until he snaps back to reality. Danger is coming. But what am I supposed to do with this, Purphoros?

Walking along with the others through the bustling street, Feloren suddenly stops short. Her light blue-green eyes turn a darker hue, and her mottled pale green skin goes taut. It lasts only a moment before Feloren relaxes, smiles and continues on her way as if nothing happened. But in her mind she considers vision carefully, for Kruphix was known to be cryptic. In light there is darkness. Find the balance.
She grins at Nagas as he approaches. "Fine day, isn't it?"
As Nagas gets to Feloren, he tries to match the smile she sends him, but shows a little worry. "Oh yes, bright skies." He switches to almost a whisper- "I think we need to keep our eyes open. They reached out again." Shortly after, he shows her the weather tracker. "Made this just in case anything gets wild through the day." He then grabs out his lute and starts tuning it.
Witas, as you look around at the market, you see an amazing assortment of goods. You can find anything in the equipment section of the players handbook. You also see multiple signs proclaiming the presence of magical wares, but you would have to investigate to see if anything is legitimate.
Ino, after you recover from your trance, you do find your usual metal supplier. You can buy, copper, bronze, and silver. (For crafting purposes raw goods will be measured simply by their gp value. While crafting mundane items with mundane goods, you have to have raw material equal to half the cost of the item.)

Witas moves over to the seller of lanterns. "Excuse me I would like to purchase a hooded lantern and 2 pints of oil" He pays for them and then asks the merchant "I am new here, can you catch me up on any news or happenings and perhaps point the way to a decent Inn"
The merchant, a female middle aged human, happily hands over the lantern and oil. "Welcome to Meletis, my friend. I'm afraid that the news in the city hasn't been good lately. One of the members of the ruling counsel was killed. You may wish to find another city to stay in. This is a poor time to be visiting. That said, if you need an inn, the slumbering giant is a good one. Its cheap, but the rooms are clean and the beer is good. Not much more you can ask for, eh?"

"Killed you say. That is terrible." I should tell the others "The Inn does sound decent" He waves goodbye and Witas rejoins his companions and shares what he has just learned.
Reygon, a large 6' 8" Minotaur with jet black fur and long horns, allows himself to be dragged along by the satyr. "Can't you find someone else to carry your supp--". He stops mid sentence, hand slipping out of his brother's grasp as the vision flashes before his eyes. He shakes himself, and pulls the great axe off his back. Seeing that it is still in one piece, he slings it back on his back. "I'm willing to face whatever threat this is, Iroas." He says under his breath. Then he looks down at the satyr, who also seems to be experiencing a vision. He nudges him. "You too ey'." He readjusts his gambison, causing his chainmail to clink.
Once everyone is done shopping, Witas speaks up "Lets head to the Slumbering Giant. I hear its a good place with decent prices" Witas begins winding his way through the busy streets towards the Inn
The merchant waves goodbye to Witas before turning to address another customer. As you regroup and talk about heading to the inn, you notice that everyone around you goes silent. As you look around, you see that in the center of the market, a wizened leonin has stepped onto an elevated platform. He begins to speak, not seeming to notice the semi-hostile looks he gets from many of the merchants. "Citizens of Meletis, I am here to make an important announcement. Last night, another two members of the twelve were strangled in their sleep. Sir Loras and Lady Mederia are no longer with us. I assure you we are doing everything we can to sto-" He gets cut off as an apple flies out of the crowd striking him on the hip. His speech gives way to shouting from the people. "Doing everything you can? Your sitting back laughing as your vote slowly gains more power!" "How come you only care when the twelve is dying? What about every murder that isn't investigated?" As the crowd moves towards him, the leonin stumbles back and begins to run as fruit continues to fly at him.

Nagas nods to Witas and Feloren and uses Wild Shape to turn into a monkey and follows the Leonin. While I'm climbing around, I'm looking for anyone with weapons that could seriously injure the Leonin.
Reygon was about to agree with Witas, when the Leonin starts to speak. When the crowd starts throwing fruit at the fellow, he can feel his anger begin to boil.
"ENOUGH!" He bellows. Not waiting to see if he made a difference. He chases after the Leonin.

Feloren watches the speech with interest, doing her best to understand who this Leonin is, and if he really does feel powerless against these attacks.

As the others give chase, Feloren goes to shout after them but they are already gone "Wait...don't...go too far now." The last trails off and she looks at Nagas. "Are you going also? I'm staying here, I want to talk to some of this crowd. Meet back at the Slumbering Giant"
She turns back to the crowd and picks out a likely person: someone who looks particularly angry."What is happening here? Who was that? Why are you all so angry?"

Ino only nods his head at Reygon’s comment. He blinks a few times, replaying the vision in his head until he feels his brother’s nudge. Before he can ask him about what he saw, he is distracted by the commotion. “I can’t see over others’ heads, Rey…. gone. He’s gone.” He throws his hands up in defeat, walking over to where Feloren and Nagas stand. He doesn’t say anything. He just watches to see what they---and the rest of the crowd---does, arms crossed in front of his chest.

If he sees nothing of interest, he'll give up trying to people-watch and try to find a pair of stones and some kind of string to tie them with---either on the floor or for sale somewhere.

"Yes let us take lodging at this inn. I feel we are needed in this town."
