Solis grimaces as Jobul turns the tables on him, "Shrewd bargaining, if somewhat cold. But business is business, as they say. I assume you accept gems?" Solis looks over at Taggart who has the gems Yellow gave out and shrugs his eyebrows as if to say "Well, I tried."
"I needed to get out of T'Gate (Baldurs' Gate) for a while. Problem is I've just found out I didn't get far enough away" Kvothe says in answer to Drita's question.
Yellow thanks the man and exits with Kaslo to look for the Harbor Master. It takes quite a while since the harbor district is very large and busy at this time of day but you finally find Zindar dealing with two merchants that have been arguing for well over an hour about some docking slip or something or other. The Half-golden dragon is wearing white silken robes and carries a quarterstaff with a green orb on top. At the moment the orb is glowing softly. You have heard that Zindar is A sorcerer of impressive ability and that he is well paid by the merchant princes for his work.
He’s seldom in this sturdy, airy building, however; most of his time is spent dealing with the hundreds of disputes, traffic jams, and other minor problems that crop up every day on a busy quayside. Zindar finds that his imposing personal presence gets issues resolved more quickly and more to his satisfaction than any number of subordinates can accomplish.
As you get closer he notices you out of the corner of his eye and holds up a clawed finger towards you as he turns to the merchants.
"Gentlemen, We have been at this for hours. I am very busy and I will not stand for this any longer. Mugel, Arrand had paid for that slip well in advance of today. I am truly sorry that one of my clerks had double booked the slip. If you will forgive me I will give you a free docking for the next two days. You can use slip number 4. If you do not like it you can always try and dock outside of the harbor where it is unsafe. That's the best I can do. Now both of you be off. I have other business."
Zindar turns towards Yellow and Kaslo and sighs. "What dispute may I help you with?"
Meanwhile
Jobul turns towards Taggart and smiles. "Of course I accept gems, every merchant does in Chult. I'll tell you what. Since the Order is such a good customer I will give the Order the three guides for 600 gold pieces. I know you were trying to haggle but you did very poorly."He says to Solis "But I give my loyal customers a good discount. And you tell them if they ever need anymore they know where to find me."
Meanwhile
As Kvothe and Drita begin to walk towards the Harbor District they hear a merchant yell "Stop Thief" as a Chultan male dressed in rags runs past Drita and Kvothe with a package of some sort in his hands.
At the clothes store
The lady measures Krav and takes the gold piece for her troubles and asks him to come back tomorrow anytime after noon and his clothes will be ready.
As he is leaving the shop a Tabaxi minstrel walks up to you and smiles. With a deep bow, the female Tabaxi begins to purr at the sight of you. "Krav the Merciless, I witnessed your amazing fight in the Arena today and wish to buy you a drink and hear of some of your other amazing tales of adventure. I hear you scared off a T-Rex and your party had to tie you down so you wouldn't chase after it and slaughter it. Now I know at times, deeds of adventurers can be exaggerated. Is this how it happened? I would love to hear your tales so that I may compose a great song about you and your exploits. Maybe help you win some local popularity for when you fight again in the arena. The more popular you are the more coin you make. What say you?"
I do thank you on behalf of the order, Taggart takes out one of the 500g gems yellow provided and one of the 100g gems he was carrying and hands them to Jobul. It’s been a pleasure doing businesss with you. Solis we should go so we are not late to our next meeting.

Solis smiles, "Yes, a pleasure, thank you." Solis gives a shallow bow and then heads out with Taggart. When they are off of Jobul's property, he turns to the gensai, "Plenty of time left in the day before we have to meet at the Thundering Lizard. I need to go buy some supplies for myself, care to join."
Yellow smiles apologetically at the Harbor Master. "I wish I had more pleasant business to bring to you, sir. I am Chevall Yellow on the Sea with the Order of the Gauntlet. Captain Firebeard ordered me to come ask you why the Gauntlet's supply ships have stopped arriving."
Drita rushes off after the rogue but he is slippery and knows the red bazaar a little better than Drita does. He ducks in between stalls and under benches, at one point he slides under a group of people haggling over the prices of a silken spool of fabric. Drita begins catching up to the thief but at the last moment, he ducks around the corner and as Drita follows she runs into a herbs stall and knocks them all over the place.
The merchant grabs Drita's arm and begins cursing at her in Chultan as the thief escapes.

"Ah Captain Firebeard, my old friend. I haven't seen a supply ship for the Order in a long while. I am assuming it was the work of pirates. They have been a scourge of this Harbor for a long time. I am actually seeking a group of people to take on these pirates. I am offering a 2000 gold piece reward for each of the pirate ships that are captured and brought back to Port. And a 500 gold piece reward for each of the Pirate Captains brought to justice. There are three captains that waylay merchant ships sailing to Port. They are the ones that have your goods."

Kvothe arrives just as the Chultuan merchant is in full flight with his tantrum at Drita. He tips back his hat, looks the Merchant up and down, and says with his hand on his shortsword. "What's your problem mate?" Intimidation 17 "C'mon Drita we gotta get down to the Harbour!" he finishes with.
Yellow furrows her brow and looks at Kaslo before addressing the Harbor Master. "Pirates?! Is there ... is there anything I can do? *We* can do?"
"I am sure the pirates are the ones that stole your goods but there is nothing I can do about them. They never enter the harbor and always do their pirating out in the open waters. I have asked the Princes to do something about it on numerous occasions but it seems their hands are tied. Why? I do not know you would have to ask them. I do know the three pirate ships are called The Dragonfang, the Emerald Eye, and the Stirge. The captains for these vessels are Captain Elok Jaharwon of the Dragonfang, Captain Zaroum Al-Saryak of the Emerald Eye, and Captain Laskilar of the Stirge. Rumor has it they have a base somewhere in Jahaka Bay."

The merchant looks at Kvothe incredulously and you can see the rage beginning to surface on his face. "You dare threaten a licensed merchant of Port Nyanzaru? GUARDS!!! That is a crime outlander. I hope you like stale bread and cheese because that's what they serve you before they make you do the Executioners Run."
In the distance you notice two guards coming in your direction from the summons.
Taggart and Solis head to the Red Bazaar for...
The Minstrel is staring at Krav waiting for a response.
OOC: Is there a faster way to communicate with Captain Firebeard than going back to Camp Vengeance? Carrier pigeons or something?
Yellow looks frustrated. Her tail is whipping around. "Thank you for the information and your concern, Harbor Master. I'll communicate this with my captain to see if he has further orders." She looks at Kaslo. "Let's head to the Thundering Lizard. Thanks again," she says to the dragonborn as they walk away.
As they walk, Yellow says to Kaslo, "I hope Solis and Taggart had better luck than I have." She looks at the dwarf as they walk. "What are your feelings on the princess? Do you have a suggestion?"
Solis is looking for a Herbalism Kit, vials of acid, and various spell components (including, holy water, two platinum rings worth 50 GP each, and a holy symbol (of Ilmater)). Solis has his own flasks to fill the various liquids up himself, if possible.
