I take the poster and pat Von's hand reassuringly before she wanders off. I ask Solomon to keep an eye on our friend while I talk to the sheriff. When Von is gone, I turn my attention back to the sheriff.
"Please excuse my companion. We've had a long journey, and you know how orcs can get when they're at sea for too long. Now, would you be willing to share some information about this mission? The poster doesn't give much detail, and we are eager to start working to retrieve these unfortunate souls as quickly as possible."
With a crash Von enters the sheriff’s station again, somehow more drunk. “Listen here you spooky son of an elf, maybe it’s the two extra beers I just had but I’m startinggg to think you think you’re the leader of this party!” Brandishing her mace wobbly at Camus, she challenges, “I’m the major general here, and if you have a problem with that you gotta defeat me in a trial by combat. As is orc law I just decided!”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I stagger back a step from the superficial blow, possibly bumping into the seemingly-comatose sheriff who has apparently been standing around glassy-eyed for more than a week now. But at that moment Camus has decided that if the orc wants a fight, that's exactly what she's going to get.
I cast Tasha's Mind Whip. Make an Intelligence saving throw; if you fail you're taking this damage:
9
Also if you fail, you'll not be able to take any reactions, and you will have to choose between taking an action, a bonus action, or a move.
You rolled 4D6... saving throws are 1D20 + your ability modifier and your proficiency bonus if applicable (Clerics aren't proficient in Intelligence saves, so no proficiency bonus there)
"A spell cast with a bonus action is especially swift. You must use a bonus action on your turn to cast the spell, provided that you haven't already taken a bonus action this turn. You can't cast another spell during the same turn, except for a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action."
So... you can either cast the bonus action Spiritual Weapon and attack me regularly, or you can cast the 2nd level Inflict Wounds and not do that. So, will it be the Spiritual Weapon or the Inflict Wounds?

I stare at Von in absolute shock for a brief second, before realizing just how bad this situation is.
"Sheriff, this could get bad!" I yell. "Take cover!"

“Come on out here and fight me like a man!”

I guess I don't do anything yet...
Not unlike that one scene with Ramona from Scott Pilgrim, Von pulls out her mace and takes a swing.

Alright, looks like you passed... you're still taking 7 points of damage from the Mind Whip. Now DO YOUR WORST!
After taking 7pts of damage Von reaches out in retaliation and casts Inflict Wounds at 2nd level.

Damage: 18
And as a bonus action she’s going to summon spiritual weapon.

Inflict wounds? Okay. I cast Counterspell and completely shut down your attack.
Having used my reaction, it comes back to me. I hit you with Tasha's Mind Whip again.
Damage: 7
Make your Intelligence save.
