Rumble's eyes lit up at the mention of Magic sand, then became crestfallen, realizing his mistake. A moment later, he brushes off the feeling to focus on staying alert as the group made their way to the meeting. Perhaps realizing along the way the state of Darnell's clothing, he fishes out some at least more put together clothing a size too large from the chest and passes it to Darnell.
"Gotta look presentable. At least one of us should." He jests.

"I think it's this way, but I'm not 100% certain. Does any of this look familiar to you guys?"
Leojym is redressed and following along. He seems to walk a bit taller with a renewed sense of purpose after the parasite was removed from his stomach.
"I am not positive it was magic. It may have worked through abrasion and odor masking. Similar to how sand absorbs ink to erase it."
Just for reference, your guide was waiting outside of the bathhouse; you did pay him for services after all.
"Of course, please follow me." The guide bows with a gentlemanly gesture as he leads you forward. He seems to be leading the group down some back alley style of paths. "I assume you do not want more attention from our people until after your banquet." He informs the group.
"That would be for the best. I am sure that many people are already talking of Dark after how they reacted to the mere sight of him earlier." Mara said as she looked to the others to see if they agreed.

"Perhaps Dark you could fly ahead once more and as much as I don't want you too... you could draw the attention of the crowds away so that we may walk the most direct route." Turning to the guide"no offense to you sir, but back allies don't seem too promising." Looking to Mara he finishes with "We'll take it to a vote as I do not have final say in this matter, who wants to travel the back allies out of sight, and Dark if you are willing who would like to take the more direct route?

"If that is what you desire." The guide says. "We shall return to the main streets at the second right. Turning there will lead into the crafter's square, which will have many people probably waiting for your feathered friend's appearance."
Following the guide's advice, the group finds themselves back on a main street. Dark takes to the sky and flies overhead, he is given a rough direction to fly in, and can easily see The Lord's palace from his current viewpoint.
"Look! Up in the sky!"
"It's Mahi!"
The people in the street seem to take note of the aarakocra and a good amount of them start to head in the direction he flies in. (Whether he does a detour to try and lose his followers first is up to him.)
(BTW, I am totally seeing Dark having a Life of Brian scenario. Let's hope he doesn't end up in a spaceship then crucified.)
Mara nods at what is said but can only offer up a bit of a shrug as they begin to walk once again. Her eyes look to the sky and then the crowd as they start to chase after dark. "Sooner or later something will have to be done about them thinking that Dark is some sort of god being. I am afraid that these people will not take it well if they decide it for themselves..."

Altho' at best will prolly be exiled or somethin' fer it." Rumble comments on while rubbing his chin. "Which wouldn't be so bad, I'on think. So long as we could at least get some supplies."As Rumble rambled on, he keeps an eye on the crowd in search of anything worrying along the way.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While he has the chance, Dark takes advantage of his time to fly. Keeping an eye on our party and his destination with the Lord, he flies almost the the extreme of his ability. Dark practices some of his flips, turns and dives before flying straight for the Lord's quarters. While high in the sky, he looks around the city and area to see if there is an obvious next route for the team. His descent is filled with screeches as he lets his avian voice out.
Thursday having such a great distraction probably at this point wouldn’t be able to help herself being back at the bottom of a social totem pole again and would try and lighten a few pouches of the better kept individuals in the crowd
(also idk how this would work but would I be able to use criminal contact?)
Sleight of Hand will suffice if you are attempting to unburden some distracted locals.
As for the criminal contact, rather than it being a set contact, it is more along the lines of you will probably have a better inkling about where in the town you can find such a hive of scum and villainy than knowing someone already.
Dark continues his flight forward. It appears the main road they are currently on eventually (after a couple of turns) leads back to The Lord's Palace.
Rumble notes that there are some younger people (a half dozen children children, about 8-10 summers in age) who seem to be garbed similarly to the adults (pale desert garbs and face-wraps). They laugh and run around, pointing at the strange metal man as it is a new thing they have never seen before.
(Assuming we can skip on after that)
The group reconvenes outside of The Lord's Palace, Dark using his aerial capabilities to lead the "followers" away before doubling back and taking a low altitude flight through a side alley to return to the others.
"It was different but it seemed to serve the purpose we needed it to. Now if we can get our clothing cleaned I will be happy." Mara says to Thursday.
