Martha was a successful entrepreneur who built an empire teaching others cooking, sewing and simple home improvements they could make to brighten up their living spaces. That is until the day it all came crashing down. Crushing inflation and a run-in with the tax man left Martha with nothing but her eternal sense of optimism. Now she travels the land baking pies and other treats to warm the hearts of her friends everywhere.
You might want to update your character, I believe we're supposed to be starting at level 1.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

After having his family gruesomely slaughtered by a horror of the forest, Obadiah Crane left his homestead and the quiet and peaceful life of woodsman, travelling from one village to the other to hunt the monsters who would threaten the lives of the innocents, seeking some redemption over not being able to protect his loved ones, one evening reaching the village of Ravenwood to put an end to it's suffering.
OMG, I did not catch this the first time a read it mutha🤬ing BRILLIANT! Now I want to make a companion character named Quidnunc Hound!🤣🤣🤣
Do it!
She of course has the Chef feat and her artificer spells are ‘reflavored’ 😉 as various types of pies with magical effects.
I actually made Quidnunc, but decided I was too attached to my original submission. Hope Martha gets in! If not, you have to keep submitting her. It would be a shame if she never saw any gameplay!
Can we get an update on what's going on? When/if we can expect selections to be made and such?

Isa Caar is a 5' 6" human female with medium-short brown hair ho recently escape being enslaved by Orcs. Her skin is a light tan color and is marked with several scares on her arms. Those that look carefully can see that Isa's skin is covered by a thin sheen of dragon-like scales. (this comes from her Draconic ancestry and bloodline). Should you ever get a glimpse of her back, you would see that she has several scares from being whipped. She has a brand (that appears to be an arrow with an X through it) on her right shoulder - indicating she was once a slave to Orcs (she does her best to keep this hidden). Isa has dark brown eyes that show a hidden darkness in her past. She mostly keeps to herself and is not the most sociable person as she has an inherent distrust of most everyone, however, if you get her talking about sorcery or magic of any kind, you may have trouble shutting her up. Most people find her somewhat charming and pleasant and when she speaks people have a tendency to believe and trust her. Isa's body has not fully developed yet but she has a natural beauty about her.

Brother Atlee invites each of you to come to Helm's temple on the edge of Ravenwood for a simple service to petition the god of protection for his help. It's a simple, and relatively short, ceremony - and he promises to have hot apple cider and some baked goods available afterwards.
Kit has never really been one for religion, but the old priest was always kind to her and sometimes let her scribe for him or borrow books. Perhaps this new fellow won't be so bad either.
She hopes Martha provided the pies.
Before she heads over, Kit pops in at Perri's to see if the kindly leatherworker is going as well.
The small temple on the edge of town has a stone foundation with timber walls and a tile roof. It certainly wasn't as impressive or large as the massive, gold-gilded temples in Neverwinter, but it was cozy and a safe stronghold in times of need. With the recent spate of grisly deaths, Brother Atlee wanted to make sure the people of the town knew they could come here for both physical and spiritual protection.
"Welcome! Peace and strength to you, my friend. Please, come in and sit anywhere." Atlee Elmont welcomes folk as they come by, offering them hot tea, kaffe, and snacks. Today was intended to bring people together and make them comfortable. If they felt welcome and safe, they would return...
Nathan gives a slight bow as he enters, makes his way over to the smorgasbord. A kaffe, some dark rye and swiss, looking around he finds a quiet place to sit. As a few more arrive he tidied up and waits to hear more from their host Atlee Elmont.
what a nice building I see the carpenter’s mark, I’ll have to let dad know his business’ influence is doing some good here it seems...
"Well met, Kit. I am Brother Atlee Elmont, but have never been one for titles or formalities," he says with a warm smile. "I'm new to this village, but you all probably know that already. I serve the god of light and protection and wanted everyone to know that this temple is a safe place for you. I am here for your spiritual needs, but I am also trained in martial combat to be able to protect those under my care." A closer look at the young human reveals leather armor beneath his vestments, and a mace, shield, and crossbow in a corner but accessible. There are several smooth river stones in sconces shedding magical light in the temple -- a warm golden hue that is both calming and encouraging.
"You all don't look like you need much protection, but I suppose that working together is always better than being isolated. That goes for many trials and tribulations. Please, introduce yourselves so that we may come to know each other. We were created to be in relationship, after all!"
Nathan responds to Brother Elmont’s friendly request for an introduction, “I am Nathan Coalborn. I am somewhat of a scholar in Ravenwood. My family the Coalborns are more widely known for our lumber mills and carpentry tools. This is a very nice place. You are a priest in service to a god of light and protection, I’m not sure but that could be any of a large number of deities. Who specifically do you worship?”
Kit glances from Coalborn to Elmont. She's lived in Ravenwood long enough to know that this conversation might portent whether gold or gods would hold the greatest sway in the village's future...
"I am a Helmite, and one of the Watchers Over the Fallen. Helm, the god of guardians and protectors, is worshiped by guards and paladins both. He is also known as The Vigilant One - the impartial defender of the realms. But he is also known as The Watcher - a vigilant guardian and embodiment of the spirit of watchfulness."
“Yes history has been recorded by Helmites and by impartial historians also. It is good to have a guard even in the heavenly realms. There are many volumes extolling the virtues of Helm, song books and picture books. It is good to grow up with such inspiration, it’s often a choice in life to be the guard or the guarded. Well met Brother Elmont.”
Kit helps herself to some of the food and tallys up the win to Coalborn. Validating Elmont like that sent a clear message that Coalborn was a man with the authority to judge the cleric's worth.
"Thank you for the food, Brother Elmont. I'm sure you must have as many questions as we do, is there anything you'd like to know about Ravenwood?"

Is there really hot apple cider? Nathan brings a bottle of wine. What’s the occasion?
