Diangar gets on his horse and trots between Runa and Thurston. He picks up the bag that Dr. Omzig gave him, and takes one of the mice out. He examines one of the clockwork mice.

”Well that is quite the contraption! Good work fellas.” I give a hand shake to the gnome and mount up and head off. 

Ill take the clockwork mouse and look it over. “I’m guessing you have no quarrels over me hanging onto one of these things do you?”

"Be my guest. I'm sure they are useful in some situations." Diangar smiles. Knowing it will probably be used in something mischievous he suddenly think of the god Loki. With that sudden thought he thinks of Runa. He chuckles a little.

Zotar

Zotar had felt a surge of anger when Karl had disrespected Runa, but he wasn't sure why. He had just met her, why get so bent out of shape. I mean Karl had asked a very legitimate question had they been in the courts, though his delivery could have been better. Maybe it was his place or position that made him and the others feel so much anger at the question. The situation had diffused so no need to continue pondering it. He was happy to be riding a horse, he had not had much time to do it at home, and now it seemed so necessary to the story of him and Ammom's adventure, every good story starts with a journey, usually on horseback. He snapped the reigns lightly to catch up with Ammom, on the side opposite from Diangar. 

"What have you got brother?"

RUNA

Runa tips her head and narrows her eyes, studying Karl as she tries to decide if he's genuinely sorry or merely apologizing to get himself out of trouble.

Having mounted his horse with easy and listening to the conversations going on. Fen, being the people watcher he is, pulls out his notebook and starts writing. "Karl, how long is this trip going to take?"

There's a good chance you've all heard stories of the Wayby Inn. Hot food, strong drinks and bloody death served all day and all night. 

Thurston

"I say we go to the inn. Good food and drink never hurt nobody!"

RUNA

When Karl apologizes, Runa gives her head a sisterly shake in Thurston's direction. "No harm, no foul." She smiles at Karl and shrugs nonchalantly. "Water under the bridge, and so forth. Apology accepted."

 At mention of the Wayby Inn, Runa raises an eyebrow. Then she chuckles at Thurston's predictable vote for the location most likely to result in a brawl. 

Runa allows her horse to fall back so that she rides alongside Seldor and whomever else is in his vicinity. "Can't vote down the possibility of something better than water to drink, I suppose?"

Sarro

"The Wayby Inn,  a private room might be just the place for planning.  I've heard of it but never been there..   I've slept many nights in camp, most in fact, so either works for me."  Sarro says eyeing his companions.

Fen

"Hey Karl, do you know anything about the Baron's compound? Is it near a town, in town, or secluded?"

Seldor

"Well, I did want a drink. And it should be pretty amusing to see a fight, as long as I'm not caught in the middle of it."

Ammom

i toss the mouse over to Zotar. “It’s some sort of clockwork mouse. The doctor gave Diangar three of them in a bag. Not sure what they do.” 

To the DM: I had an investigation checkwith the clockwork mouse on post 126. Came out to 10. 

Seldor

Seldor is also curious about the clockwork mice. "Hey, Diangar was it? Can I see one of those mice? 

"Sure." He tosses a second mouse to Seldor. Diangar though lighthearted is still very cautious and on his guard especially on an adventure like this. He takes the time and surveys the surroundings.
