The snare is easily disarmed and yields a fair length of strong, thin, ugly cord (functionally equivalent to Rope, Silk (50 feet), although without the resale value, if Quinn or anyone wants to take it.) It likely would have restrained Syzygy in an inverted and likely quite uncomfortable position high above the trail.
The woods continue to be quiet; there are no signs of goblins, nor of any other woodland inhabitants.
Quinn disarms the trap and salvages the length of cord. He tests its strength and he's pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cord. He winds the cord in a coil and stashes it in his pack.
"That was some good cordage. Crafty little things those goblins are." He looks up at the trail and nods in that direction. "We should get movin."
DM: I'm trying to get a feel for how far ahead Gundren was from our group. How long is the journey from Neverwinter to the point where we discovered Gundren's horse?

Bryony watches Quinn disarm the trap with interest. The goblins are more clever than she would've guessed. She imagines falling into the trap unawares and being suspended upside down above the ground. That would've been quite awful. Luckily, Syzygy has keen eyes to go with his rather intimidating demeanor.
From the corner of his eye, Quinn noticed Bryony watching as he disarmed the trap. He approaches the young halfling and says in a hushed tone "Would you like to have a try at disarming the next one? That's how I learned. It's a good skill to have in the the line of work you're in."

“Hmmm” syzygy responds in approval of Quinn’s keen disbarment. An anxious sweat glazed syzygy’s brow as he continues along the trail to find Gundren and his escort.
Unless you have further business at the site of the snare trap, the group continues forward. You can still clearly make out the trail, and the foot traffic of many goblins in both directions, as well as those drag marks.
Who's leading from here - Quinn, still? Or Syzygy? Or Bryony? Any active measures that you want to take?
Bryony gives Quinn an appreciative smile. "Thanks, I'd like that," she whispers back.
As the group moves on, the halfling hangs toward the back in case something big and hungry decides to try and charge them. She doesn't put it past these woods to harbor more than just goblins.
Syzygy looks at Jurgen whose mannerisms were unlike any he’d seen of his kind. While walking along side the wagon earlier he did notice however that Jurgen seemed to have a keen eye for detail. Syzygy gestures for the kobold to go ahead and take the lead. Syzygy keeps a few paces behind.
The party continues down the narrow, winding goblin trail through the dry, desolate woods. Quinn and Bryony watch the back. Jurgen leads, with Syzygy behind him. Tessa and Roderick stay in the middle.
After another ten minutes or so traveling down the trail, Jurgen spots another trap: a hidden, camouflaged pit across the trail. It is about six feet wide, ten feet deep, and set to trigger when a creature moves across it. Now spotted, it will be easy enough to circumnavigate.
Quinn carefully marks the pit. Then you continue warily onward.
The journey continues uneventfully from here. A full hour passes, then two.
Finally, you discover that the goblins’ trail ends at a cave in a hillside, about five miles from the scene of the ambush. A shallow stream flows from the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow, dry path leads into the cave on the right side of the stream. There is no sign of life or activity, at least from this vantage point.
Quinn motions for the group to remain quiet and watch for threats. He moves along the briars to the north of the map, bow at the ready and arrow nocked, with his eyes fixed on the path to the east of the stream. He does his best to look at the trail on the opposite side of the stream, trying to spot any indications or signs of where the goblin party crossed the stream.
Perception OR Wisdom (same modifiers) check: 17 (or 19 with favored terrain)

Sir Roderick begins getting twitchy in the quiet but knowing the importance of stealth restrains himself from chatting as they move.
Stepping gingerly around the pit he smiles to himself at his companions skills.
"Hold up a minute. I'm going to mark this pit so we can spot it easy if we come back this way."
Quinn hacks down several small tree limbs with his battle axe and lays them on the trail in an 'X' pattern on each side of the trail.
"That'll do. Let's keep moving."
