Once their companions flee, Zeds inherent nature takes over and he checks the corpses of the two downed cutthroats for coin purses, jewelry or other valuables. Eventually checking the quality of their weapons and armor. Seeing Krackle of a similar mind Zeds throws him a wink.
"Looks like this town is under attack. Dragon and henchmen, it seems... Bad shit," Zeds answers the Kobold. "If it wasn't a real dragon it was damn near the closest thing possible, I guess. Certainly seemed real enough to kill."
After looting the corpses Zed turns to the others. "Seems either the mentioned keep or the outskirts would be safest. I suppose it depends on how badly they want to take the keep?"
Investigation: 5 - Zeds likely more worried for his own skin than more coin.
Perception to keep a watch for more henchmen: 9

We're doing one small murder-y thing for a bigger, better reason. The ends justify the means.
The weapons are scimitars, light crossbow, 20 bolts, armor is plain leather armor. All in decent condition. As for coin, you find 32 coppers between the 2 that had died.
Zed does not see any more henchmen nearby but can hear the sounds of battle to the east.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zed quickly divvies the coins up between himself and Krackle, since the Kobold is also looking over the bodies. Zed tries to weigh the quick division in his favor a bit though... ((Though let's leave it to chance? Each get 12 copper and of the last 8 Krackle gets: 2 ))
"There is more fighting to the east... Unless we want it finding us, we really should hightail it to the keep or out of town..." Zed advises.

Stirling takes of his vestments and drapes them over the shoulders and trys to dress the man's burns if he lets him
Sir you need to get to the keep. Standing here would only usher you to those you've lost move to safety then grieve. Seeing the anger in the man's eyes. Or if it's revenge you desire do it from the keep so you can channel that anger for the good of all.
The man barely notices Sterling but heard of some what you said. He stiffly gets up and starts walking. It takes a guiding hand from Sterling to direct the man towards the keep.
Zeds chuckles. "But of course you may," he answers and then helps relieve one of the dead of their items and then assists Stirling in getting them on. "But we really shouldn't stay here much longer than needed..."

The party heads for the Keep and travel a 100ft before you here the creak of a wagon as 2 henchmen pillage a nearby home tossing any loot into the wagon.
2 burlier men step out from the home. As soon as they see the party one of them says "Alright men get going as we are going to have little fun. Drop your valuables and I will give each of you a quick death."
one of burly man unsheathes his blade and gives a twirl. You can tell these men are more battle hardened than the ones you fought earlier.
The 2 on the wagon slaps the reins and ride off to the east with the loot taken so far.
Krackle would take the coins offered to him and not worry about anything else as he scrambled to keep up with the group.
When the burly men threaten the group, Krackle would grab Zeds leg and duck behind it. "leave... leave us alone!" he would shout, his voice cracking with fear as he ducked behind the much taller man.
"Hide. Follow. Don't grab!" Zeds hoarsely whispers to Krackle and gently shakes his leg free of his grip. Not wanting to move into melee if he doesn't have to, Zeds takes up his shortbow again and shoots an arrow at Henchman 1.
Shortbow Attack: 9 to hit for 9 damage plus 4 sneak attack damage. (Rolled dagger attack by mistake, same modifier though...)
Zeds would then again try to find some cover to hide behind, perhaps giving Krackle a tug to suggest he come too.

The man barely notices Sterling but heard of some what you said. He stiffly gets up and starts walking. It takes a guiding hand from Sterling to direct the man towards the keep.
After directing the man to the keep Stirling returns nearly naked. Seeing the looting of the dead he gets a little angry and embarrassed.
Looting the dead is wrong but um do you think I can use that leather vest and cross bow till I get my things?
Zeds chuckles. "But of course you may," he answers and then helps relieve one of the dead of their items and then assists Stirling in getting them on. "But we really shouldn't stay here much longer than needed..."
