Crispy lowers her blades just a tad, only to assist the team in getting this scum to talk and to seem a bit less hostile, but keeps them close enough to finish it off when need be.
The goblin isn't lying as you can tell from the fear in its eyes. But there's something under it, it's scared of something else besides your group. It's eyes frantically dart back and forth between Bennett and further down the mine.

Karra retrieves his arrow, wiping the blood off it before stowing it back into his quiver. "Hmph, there more to this tale." He says walking towards the group now. He then looks to the goblin, and speaks its tongue.
"What else is down there? There is something else that scares you more than us right now."

"Red ones, they are hobgoblins?" (Karra's going out an a limb to assume red ones are hobgoblins, like the ones he will have seen on his journey up to the surface)
"Yes, yes, the ones you folk call hobs. Bigger than goblins, smarter too." It looks down the mine shaft, "They are deeper, telling the others to mine."
Gasp sheathes his blade and looks around while the others interrogate the remaining goblin. He clicks his beak a little, making a light rattling noise as he listens. Hobgoblins...it's never good when goblins start to form a host.
How many hobgoblins are there? asks Hatt, and he glances over at Karra: This onecan understand me, right?
(The following only if Hatt saw the goblins' first reaction to the party; I'm not sure about this.)
Then a thought occurs to him, and he remembers that before the fight began, one of the goblins had bolted off deeper into the mine. His eyes follow the path the escaping goblin took. I think one of them went to call for help. We should prepare for attack, I think.

Aurelia, who had stayed quiet by the goblin's side once the rest of the group started interrogating it. When the news of hobgoblins reached her, paired with the look of terror on the small creature's face, she made a decision. The triton laid a hand on Crispy's blades, the gauntlet making it clink as metal touched metal. "I ask you to reconsider. This goblin is a slave, tormented to do someone else's bidding." She bent a knee and cupped the goblin's cheek, looking at it intently with her foggy, green eyes. "If you promise to stay right here, out of harm's way, we will best the hobgoblin that forces your family to mine. By doing so you will be free, that way your brothers and sisters can find a new home where you can live in peace."
14 Persuasion.
If the goblin agrees she will Lay on Hands for 5 hit points, if it doesn't she'll step away to let Crispy finish it.
While you all questioned the goblin, the mine is quiet. The snarling from before has ceased. The torch ahead is still lit. The goblin survivor just sat there, waiting for its fate to be decided.
As Hatt asked the goblin, the goblin shaked its head, replying in common, "Me don't know, me walk mine. Not me turn to mine."
Most of the group is lightly wounded, while Gasp and Aurelia have taken the most damage. Aurelia's wounds bleed through her chainmail. Gasp's is still a bit hurt after being healed. Ashley's wounds from the goblin she had already healed, but the brunt of the rocks still sting upon her. Hatt and Karra is just scratched up.
"Me can't. You all kill some of my family. Me tell you of hobs. Family throw me out. Me too hurt." He lets go of its open wound going down his body, "Me go out to wild, wolves will get me."

The goblin nods groggily as it presses a hand against its wounds.
"Yes, me speak."
Bennett stares into the eyes of the goblin with his own dark eyes. "Good. How many more of your kind are in this mine?"

The goblin squirms under your gaze, "Me...Me don't know. Me have many sisters and brothers..."
While the others are questioning the goblin, Karra goes to see if he can retrieve his arrow from the body of the goblin he felled.
(Normally it's half of your arrows shot that you get to reclaim. Up to you if it rounds up or down)
Karra will be listening in on the conversation, hoping to catch any falsehoods the goblin may try and weave into its story.

The goblin freezes as you talk in its tongue. It stares at Karra before responding in its to you in its language.
"The red ones are here, they make us mine. We...we must listen to them. They have chief, and we listen to chief."
Karra continues to speak to the goblin.

Ashley will check everyone for injuries.

Crispy raises her blades to the goblin's neck, ready to finish it off as soon as questioning has ended.
She wasn't afraid of goblins, nor hobgoblins - but it looks like the goblins got a raw deal. One thing is for sure. There is probably more of them.
"Are we done talking?" She asks, eager to finish it. "This guy smells."

Crispy looks at Aurelia, then back at the goblin, awaiting its choice. Live. Or die.

Ashley sees Aurelia currently has the worst injury. She uses the last of her gifted magic to heal her for 4. That's the best i can do for now.
