This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I'll pretend to fall down, and some of you will pretend to grab me. Hide the thing I'm going to create. Okay?" After saying that, Azhumi fakes falling to the floor. "Unhand me! You filthy peasant dogs! How dare you touch the child of the Spider Queen!" While frantically screaming and thrashing their arms and legs, the Bard knocks on the wooden board with their knuckle and plays an ancient melody known only to the oldest collage of musicians.
(Azhumi is asking for Help Action. If others agree, please choose the highest number. If not, just use the first one.)
Stealth: 17, 26
Mote of PotentialTCoE, pg. 28
When granting a creature a Bardic Inspiration die, you summon a Mote of Potential that orbits within 5 ft. of the creature.
Ability Check. The Bardic Inspiration die can be rolled again - choose which roll to use.
(Looks like it. Try a stealth roll like the rest of us and ask @DM for forgiveness. I dicked around with the dice before joining, but he was pretty cool about it)
I'd like to try using my religious knowledge of my Patron as a means of deception by "giving a sermon" to bore the alerted guard. I know I'd need to roll for religion, but should I use my performance modifier as well?
Senni will ignore the guard, letting others handle it. He instead focuses on stretching his limbs, getting ready for the escape. He is also looking around to see if there are any piles of weapons or items that would make a good place to go first.
Azhumi crawls to the window of the cart and screams at the guard, "These vile beasts tried to assault me! I can't stand it anymore! Let me out here! Or give them some lessons! You're a guard! You should guard me from them!" The Bard points at the blind Halfling and Dwarf barbarian.
@Aeliaz
While Azhumi is distracting the guards, an object materializes from thin air—an illegitimate child between a flute and a handaxe. Its handle touches the toes of Aeliaz, causing a faint music in his head, asserting its existence to the Aarakocra ranger. Azhumi gives the weapon to the birdman because he is the biggest creature in the cart, capable of hiding the flute-tomahawk with his wings and cutting the restraints sneakily.
The Half-Elf puts their body against the window, trying to use their thin frame to block the sight of the guards as much as possible. "You leave me no choice! I'm telling you, I hid my fortune in Northdark! Golds and jewelries, half my weight! I'll tell you where they are if you give me protection!" Azhumi emphasizes the words "Golds and Jewelries" unnecessarily loudly so that other guards could hear.
**Action:** Azhumi uses their Deception skill to distract guards and gives a Help Action for Aeliaz to take the axe and cut everyone's restraints.
Since Azhumi attracted the guard, I made my move first. I think it suits our original plan too. Adelward can use his magnificent knowledge to lure more guards and buy more time for others to free themselves.
@Aeliaz
I think toppling the cart is Boomi's job. He is the strongest and probably heaviest guy who can be stronger with his Rage. Maybe we are going to use a combined Strength (Athletics) roll, depending on the DM's decision. By the way, please free yourself and the others with the axe before pushing and toppling.
(No no, you want to play your part your way. I can respect that. An addendum, then)
As Adelwald is about to open his mouth, he feels a harsh glare in the empty void that would have been his peripherals. Sensing that his intervention was not needed, and that speaking now would dishonor a teammates efforts, he quickly purses his lips, opting to shuffle over by the dwarf, preparing for the next step.

Deception: 16
Two more guards come over to listen to what you're yapping about (their perspective).
(To help, mentally, two guards are now standing along one side of the cart, while the original guard is on the other... the cart is rectangular in shape, and has a driver sitting up front, away from the cage.)
Nah, I rescinded that plan. @Bobybard says they have it, so I'll trust them.
...Instead, if the Aarokokra's planning to ram the cart now, I'd like to roll a help action to give them an advantage mod for when they roll. Which die do I need?

That said, the gnome hasn't cut our binds yet.
I'll say, roll a d20, and as a success / fail (like a death save). If 11+, you succeed in giving advantage.
Adelwald, patiently waiting, turns to where he last heard the Aarokokra's voice. Whispering,
By the way, Aeliaz, your kind has talons, right? Are these binds too thick for you to simply cut yourself out? Or is it considered dishonorable to use them in lieu of regular weapons?

OOC: In my previous post, Azhumi gave Aeliaz a flute tomahawk with a razor-sharp blade. He can use it to cut the binds or pass the weapon to someone, doubling the speed to free ourselves.
Senni sees the two guards approach and will attempt to position himself near the door to the cart. If the guards are distracted by Azhumi, he will start trying to wiggle his wrists hoping to loosen the rope enough to get one hand free.

*** A guard notices you all gathered and talking, and approaches the cart to see what's going on. ***
"Oi~ What're ya doin'!" *he chides.*
Can I roll for strength in order to topple the cart?

After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
Boomi looks the guard up and down for a set of keys

Yes, you can.
Go for it.
On his belt.

Boomi bumps Senni and nods towards the guard. Grunting keys.
Boomi will attempt to free himself while waiting for the action to take place then help ram the cart over
Boomi athletes to free himself 18
@DM
Say, how's the other group doing?
