Okay so I’m still very new to dnd & have a few books that DnD beyond has released as freebies & the players handbook on my account. I recently subscribed to the master yearly subscription (mostly so I can play around with maps) but I’ve been wanting to get more of the core books eventually and wanted to try & find other new players who haven’t yet bought any books & share what content I have.
So basically, I’m curious if I (as a player & not the DM) can still share my content with my fellow players or is it only DM’s that can share content.
Or, can I start & set up a campaign on DnD Beyond, find players that want to join, & then maybe find/pull our money together for a beg friendly professional DM (I have no idea how to set up/find campaigns https://100001****/ 😅)
(also, please be kind 🥺 I’m a bumbass with AuDHD so I would appreciate kinda explaining it to me as one would a small child. Also tone tags would be appreciated 🥺)

I saw someone do it recently, so I can confirm that a player can enable content sharing with the other players (and DM) in the campaign if they have a Master Tier subscription.
If you're a player in a campaign, I would just suggest checking with the campaign's DM before you do that. The DM probably won't mind, but it's good etiquette to ask. 🙂

If you'd like to play with a group in person or with a group that "meets" virtually for a gaming session during specific hours, then see the Looking for Players & Groups forum here on D&D Beyond.
I think that the most frequent "recruiting" posts are from DMs who want players for a game that they want to run, but I've also seen players post to the forums, asking for a DM. In that case, the group of players forms and maybe even figures out what kind of game they want to play. Then they post to the forum to see whether they can find a DM willing to run the game for them.
AuDHD
Not sure about AuDHD, but I'll mention that play-by-post can be challenging for ADHD folks because those games typically progress very slowly. It's often just one forum post from each player per day, so you may only get to "play" for a few minutes each day, but you have to remember to play every day. Playing through an entire published campaign in a play-by-post game will probably take more than a year and quite possibly more than two.

I can't speak to this directly but I would note that I've done several play-by-post campaigns with neurodivergent folks on discord. It seems to work out fine, but discord play-by-posts (PbPs) also tend to have much higher post rates than the ones here on the forums. So if you try it here and it's a struggle I'd say look for a recruitment for a discord PbP before you give up entirely.

If you want to participate in a play-by-post game, then read the first post in this thread: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/play-by-post/2069-pbp-rules-and-faq-please-read-first.
