@jr12355, I went into your character and selected an equipment set, purchased studded leather for 45 gp, and a hand crossbow for 75 gp plus 60 bolts.
I'll take your first turn, so that we can get things moving, and you feel free to change my choices and I'll ret-con things if you choose that route.
Ryuulin acts fast, seeing a goblin ambush ahead. Quietly and swiftly, he loads a bolt (as part of his attack action) and fires at G1 18 for 7 piercing damage.
He then moves to the other side of Resnelore and uses Bardic Inspiration, as a bonus action, on Daewen
The bolt hits true, striking the hidden goblin and killing it in a single shot.

OOC: I’ll hold that Bardic Inspiration for another round.
Getting the jump on the bandits, Daewen quickly unslings her bow and runs 5 feet diagonally northeast of her current position, and takes up a hiding spot with good cover behind that boulder just off the road. She then takes careful aim at bandit G5, and unleashes an arrow:

Attack: 9 Damage: 12
The arrow whizzes past the goblin's ear as it sneers at you.
I looked at Resnelore's gear and spent 45 gp on studded leather and 50 gp on a longbow plus an additional 40 arrows.

Wilhorn’s flute playing is cut short as he is completely caught off guard by the sudden action (surprised, so no action this round). Ryuulin fired a quick shot to the North. A squeal and a thud resulted. Two arrows return from the North side of the trail, one missing him by quite a margin, but the other sinks into Marcon. Then Daewen darts for cover and fires to the South.
How do they know what they’re firing at? Wilhorn tries to figure. Every time he shifts his focus there’s nothing but rocks and trees.
Two more arrows fly from the South side, one sailed towards where Daewen darted, and the other strikes Resnalore..
This is all going bad very quickly.
Who in the hells are firing on us? Still nothing but hillsides and foliage. This is maddening!
Drool had tried to warn the silly fool on his back, but Wilhorn had been completely distracted. Now, all Drool can do is Dodge and give his rider a chance to recover his senses.
At the start of each turn, feel free to keep your old perception check or you can roll a new one as a free action. You can also spend your action for the round to roll a new Perception check as well.

I'm still feeling out everyone's skill levels at d&d but also at PbP and my last DM utilized something called, "group initiative" and it really helped to move combats along so that we can get to the roleplaying scenes, which is really why everyone is here ;) Starting immediately, I will move everyone's initiative to the top and the monsters to the bottom. Feel free to take your turn immediately, adding special notes if you need to coordinate with other players. Once everyone has taken their action for Round 1, the monsters will all get a turn at the same time.
Don't forget to update your Perception checks at the start of your turn for free and that you can spend your action to take the time to reroll perception as well. Good luck!

Wilhorn is sufficiently shook by Drool and they both quickly try and spot/hear/sniff the hidey spots of the attackers. Wilhorn especially tries to see from where the two arrows came from the North. One that missed him and one that hit Marc.
Free action perception Wilhorn / Drool: 20 / 18
(Wilhorn’s passive perception is 12, so even if his roll above fails, can we say he at least can figure out where G2 is, roughly, stealth 11?)
Wilhorn mutters an incantation and waves a hand to drop a Sleep spell centered on a spot within 5’ of where he believes G2 is.
(20’ radius from that point receives 16 hit points put to sleep for a minute.)
”I might need help! I’ll let you know!” He shouts to the others.
He then rides Drool 40’ pretty much due East up the northern embankment and dismounts. Drool instinctively takes the Dodge action while Wilhorn uses his remaining movement (assuming 12 feet due to using half to dismount) to find cover (partial or full) from the enemies on the south side while assessing if there’s anyone left awake on this side.

OOC: I'm keeping my original perception check of 23...because...that'll never happen again! :-)
The arrow that goblin G6 shot at Daewen misses by a league, so much so that Daewen hardly notices it! Instead, she keeps her eye on goblin G5 as it attempted to hide again. But to Daewen's keen eyes, his fairly successful attempt at hiding from everyone is fraught with a slight error - its long goblin ears are plaining sticking out from it's hiding place!
Spending a few seconds to more fully take aim this time (she's using that Bardic Inspiration this time), she nocks another arrow and lets it sling forth at goblin G5:
Note: Starting immediately, player's initiative has been moved to the top and monsters are moved to the bottom. Feel free to take your turn immediately, and in any order. Once all the players have taken their turn for Round 1, the monsters will all take their turns together.
Vex starts to scream and freak out as all of a sudden arrows start thudding into the wagon around him. His screaming then intensifies as an arrow slams into his shoulder knocking him backward off the wagon, knocking him to the ground. He frantically scampers under the wagon as he still does not know where the attackers are and he will hide under the wagon and behind a wheel hoping to escape the rain of arrows.

@jr12355, just waiting on Ryuulin's turn. I already Bot-ed him in the surprise round, so I'm going to give you time to take your action.
Looking over your character sheet, you will need to change your ability scores from standard array to manual and remove all "other modifiers" that you have added.
This allows you to move your Racial Ability Score Increases from Cha +2 and Wis +1 to any two stats you want. I would recommend putting the starting score of 17 in Dexterity and moving your floating +1 to Dex so that your AC, Ranged To-Hit, and Ranged Damage all increase by +1.
@ginjar_bronzebeard, your character has enough XP to be level 2, but you haven't chosen which class to take your second level. If you want to stick with Ranger, you will get more hitpoints and a fighting style. Stick with Longbow and you get a +2 To-Hit from Archery Style.
You will need to remove your "Rolled stats" and replace them with our starting array, as if you had rolled: 17, 16, 15, 14, 12, 10
I also recommend that, as a Ranger, you put the 17 in Dexterity and use one of your Half-Elf floating +1's to start with an 18 Dexterity. While wearing studded leather, your AC goes up to 16, your To-Hit will be +6 and your Damage with a longbow will be 1d8+4
Looking over your other party members, you will find the current party makeup is listed below. If you choose to take your second level as Ranger, I want that to be your choice. Half the party is already multiclassing and your character could easily multiclass into 1 level of Fighter, 1 level of Druid, 1 level of Cleric, or even something else. Be creative (or not), let's see what you come up with.

"You sneaky rogues. Show yourself." He walks up to a bush where he last saw a goblin shoot its bow and casts a thunderous spell in a 30 ft cone, hoping to hit one of them. thunderwave, 12 thunder damage.
