OOC: Friedrych's actual background is that he's an inspector for this world's equivalent of the Michelin guide ^^
Friedrych raises his hand when he sees the halfling putting down the brazier. 'That would be for me. Much obliged.' He takes a gold coin out of his pouch and hands it to the halfling. 'For your troubles. Tell you mother thanks for me. I shall return it in the morning.'
Akaas looks at the brazier and back at Friedrych, his ever-present grin on his lips. "What is this for?" he asks.
'Summoning the infernal powers from the bowels of the Nine Hells of course.' Friedrych replies with a smile as he props up the brazier against his backpack. 'Also keeps me warm and cozy at night so that's a plus. Now what's for dinner? I'm starving.'
The barkeep looks over to Chetin's call. "Food? Well we're cooking up our family specialty, Axe-head broth. Made with locally grown roots and vegetables."
'Sounds great.' Friedrych pipes up at the barkeep. 'I'll have one of those, please.' He's about to turn his mind to other things when he suddenly remembers something. 'Oh, one of our companions is outside near our cart. Could you bring her a bowl of Axe-head broth as well, please?'
"Of course." The barkeep smiles to the group. "I'll put it all on your bill, Miggy." She winks to Mr. Migello before wandering over to the far end of the bar.
A few moments later several bowls of piping hot broth with fresh vegetables in is brought forward with a couple of loaves of bread for the group to share. A chunk is taken off for the portion that is being sent outside for Borg as she keeps an eye on the cart.
"My job takes me all over." Mr. Migello replies, looking overjoyed at the food that has been brought forward. "If there is need of wares, my company will strive to ensure that the demand is supplied for. It's what brings in the money to ensure we can hire adventurers such as yourselves to make sure that the people get what they need and want. It's been a while since I've come down this way, though. I usually travel coastal; lots a beautiful sunsets and sunrises there."
The boy from earlier steps outside to find Borg waiting by the cart. He holds a tray with a bowl of broth and a small loaf of bread. He looks up at the athletic half-orc. "Wow, you're really big, miss." He says, then remembers why he is there. "Oh, mam asked me to bring you this." He says, holding up the tray of food.
Mr. Migello chuckles. "I'm not a storyteller, but I do enjoy the open road." He comments. "Nothing fancy like adventurers, but yeah I've seen a few things in my time. There was this one time I was headed along the East Coast and out of nowhere, a huge azure dragon rose out of the shallows, flying off right into the sunset. It is the most majestic thing I've ever seen in my life."
Borg smirks and looks to the little boy. "Thanks kid, if you eat your vegies and make sure to exercise you may get to be as big or bigger than me one day." Borg takes to tray of food sitting on the cart to begin eating it. "Tell the others thanks." Borg reaches into her pouch and sighs. "Sorry kid this is all i have until we complete this job." Borg gives the kid a couple of copper.

The boy looks ecstatic at the two copper pieces Borg gives the lad. "Thank you, miss!" He says enthusiastically. "Umm... I can play look-out if you wanna eat with your friends. I'll run in screaming if a bad guy turns up." He gives her a big smile showing his glistening shiny teeth. There is a bit of food stuck between his front two upper teeth.
Borg smiles. "Sure, thank you kid. I'll see if i can get my friends to give you a copper or two for your help." borg stands up and makes sure the boy is safe and happy before heading into the tavern.

Akaas's smile falters for a second. His eyes leave Friedrych and move from person to person, looking for others' reaction to what he just said.
Borg waits outside, she takes out her playing card set and begins to keep herself busy.

Chetin shrugs, "I think our companion is just joking with us, sir Akaas. Barkeep, may I ask what food you have available for my companions and I?"
The barkeep looks over to Chetin's call. "Food? Well we're cooking up our family specialty, Axe-head broth. Made with locally grown roots and vegetables."

Akaas digs in.
The food is quite heavy, with a strong savoury and umami taste. Mr. Migello smiles, "Not been here for a long time. It's got some good home food."

"So, you don't travel this way often?" Akaas asks.

"Then you must also be a storied man as well? Have any tales you'd like to share with us?" Chetin asks as he starts to eat.
Friedrych snickers at the mention of "Miggy" but does lean in at the prospect of hearing a tale told.
