"We need to get away from here in case that druid comes back with his friends" Grin would say while catching his breath before quickly searching the campsite for anything of value or importance.
"I'm not sure what's going on here, but we still have prisoners to free," Thromkor says as everyone discusses their next course of action. "If we let our focus become too divided, we will never accomplish anything."
"you may be right... It is going to be quite some time before my singed hair comes back... We should mark this location on our maps and come back to it... If two of these druids are that powerful, I do not wish to fight dozens more." The shifter would say with a sig.
Waking up, Grin would spend some time examining his burns and shaking his head in disappointment at the large patchy sections of beard and hairless limbs as a result of the encounter with the fire mages. "I look like a young lass! Damn fire druid ruined my masculine mane!" The shifter would say with a sigh as he runs his hands over his arms and face. "So are we freeing prisoners or possibly saving the region from what I assume is going to be large forest fire and or purging of some kind?" Grin would as with a shitty Grin. "I mean... going after the prisoners would take me to the man I have been hunting for quite some time... But if we can prove that we may have saved many more from some strange fire cult... well... the reward could be pretty nice."
Not really listening at all, Tibold is busy playing his spectral keyboard. His fingers fly up and down the keys even faster than usual and he hums quietly to himself.
Thromkor sighs. "A forest fire, you say?" he asks, sounding disappointed. "I hadn't realized that was the intent of these druids." He looks at the ground in thought. "If we are to consider the numbers, it might be best for everyone for us to focus on this greater threat." The dragonborn looks at Tibold and frowns at the bard.
"I mean... they didn't EXACTLY say the words forest fire.. but the words *cleansing* and *purifying* were being thrown around alot.. and they were were talking about using that ritual to cleanse the region..." The sifter would mention as he tries to recall more of the discussion from the night before. "they were definitely responsible for summoning the hell-hounds and I definitely got the impression they were planning on lots and lots of burning based on their words and mannerisms." Grin would say as he opened his pack to pull out a bit of dried meat to chew on.
"I look like a young lass! Damn fire druid ruined my masculine mane!"
At this, Gotrek chuckles as he runs his hand through whats left of his mohawk. "Unfortunately its one of the risks of the job. It will grow back!"
In talks about the fire druids, Gotrek says "I agree. I have a gut feeling that this wont be the last we will see of these 'Black Earthers', so we should deal with the more immediate threat."
Again, Thromkor sighs. "We tried the direct approach and almost fell before their attacks. I feel I've learned from the encounter, and feel better after resting, but do we want to try another approach? Perhaps we can use the daylight to learn more about them before rushing in again."

Grin you find nothing of interest. Where is the party going?
DM - Storm King's Thunder - The Gods Respond
DM - Four bards walk into a bar...
Cracitus Tibicen (Tibi) - Aarokocra - Rogue [Swashbuckler] / Fighter [Battlemaster]
OOC: I vote just back up to the ridge overlooking the vally.. just make a small camp there.
Gotrek will agree with Grin and follow him up the ridge
We have to make camp with no fire so we don’t alert the rest to our presence still nearby
Rockcrusher lvl 2 Goliath Barbarian Horde of the Dragon Queen
Taggart lvl 6 Air Genasi Blood Hunter Tomb of Annihilation
Shadow lvl 3 variant feral tiefling rogue Shackled City
You can find a small area off the path at the top of the valley on the other side where you can make a campfire.

Cool!

And that's all I have to say about that.

Tibold stops playing and nods at Thromkor.
It is not unwise to at least attempt to approach with some subtlety."
Looking around at the group, Tibold nods to himself.
"Perhaps," he drawls, smirking, "we could be a traveling circus. Two acrobats, a strongman, a musician, and the ringleader!"
And that's all I have to say about that.
Gotrek chuckles, "I am agreeable with this idea."
"I could be a handsome beast!" Grin would say with a wink.
