Am I the acrobat? That’s better than clown or jester for sure! If this doesn’t work and we ha e to flee we should consider trying hit and run tactics at night, move in and surprise take. Out a campfire and run away again. But I suppose that might take to long. Either way I agree they feel like the immediate threat that needs to be handled before they torch the countryside.
"While a ruse might work," Thromkor says, "it is also conceivable the druid who got away has alerted his fellows to our presence and our descriptions."
"No one within striking distance would dare call you a clown, sir halfling!"he assures Cole. At Thromkor's remark, though, Tibold becomes more serious.
"Ah. That is probably correct, and we do make a distinctive group. I would doubt that it's worth the risk. Ah, well. Some other time?" he asks, winking.
Gotrek thinks for a moment. He then speaks up, "I think we do need to go investigate these fire druids. especially now that we have rested, But the big problem is that they are most likely going to be aware of us because of the runaway druid. We will need to approach in a clever manner. I say we go and scout the druids but wait and watch for a while. Get an idea of numbers, good times to attack, etc. Also considering they like to use big balls of fire to blast at us, when we do attack, we need to keep space between ourselves, so their attacks are less efficient."
If no one else has anything to say, Gotrek will turn to Grin. "Do you think you can find their camp?"
"No problem" Grin would say with a smile. "I can head back down the way we went last night and make my way around the valley... sticking my head around where we saw the campfires if ya want" The shifter would say as he rubs a hairless patch of skin on his arm.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grin would nod and make his way to the edge of the vally, looking down towards where the campfires had been the night before. (Perception 27) The shifter would try to spot as many druids as possible before slowly approaching the camp. (stealth 15)
Once More into the Valley of ... - Day 3, Second Ten Day, Month of Kythorn
1) About 4.00 am - half an hour before sunrise - on what is shaping up to be a calm and warmish late Spring day. Grin, and whomever accompanies him, make their way back to the top of the ridge where they can see the valley laid out before therm. Grin looks over the valley and says "I'm heading for that camp on the far side"pointing to the camp on the east and close to the tower that is approximately 60 feet to the northeast of the camp the party visited last night. He then finishes with "it'll take me at least 10 minutes to get there and 10 minutes to come back so don't expect to see me for about half an hour!"as he sets off.
2)Grin I'll run the rest via PM.

Grin makes his way back to camp, wiping a few leaves and dirt from his clothes. "Welp... I stopped at one of the camp sites and checked out where the big fire was..." He will say taking a moment. "There were at least three druids like the ones we saw and a couple strange looking dogs... they wern't on fire... but still.. strange... At the first site" Then looking to his companion. He will rub his chin. "They had a large burning wicker man and a couple robed guys inside a castle courtyard posted at the farthest site. There was a guy with a crossbow keeping an eye on things.. I didn't see anything or find any more information on what they are doing however...." He would finish.
Thromkor listens, then furrows his silver brow. "Three plus two plus a 'large burning wicker man' plus three more,"he says, looking at Grin. He looks at the others. "We sound very outnumbered." Looking back at Grin, he asks, "Do you see any way we can take on just a couple at a time? And what is a 'burning wicker man'?"

Thromkor is worried about this forest fire idea and would like to try to stop it, but doesn't think a direct approach is very safe.

Thromkor nods his assent with the plan.
"Sounds good," Tibold replies, collapsing his spectral keyboard into nothingness.
And that's all I have to say about that.
