"Uhm Miss Thornton, is she the witch ?" Mixum looks a little worried. Getting involved with witches is not what he had in mind when he went off to look for new magic components.
"As I said. It was only a jest." Lokk then has himself a think. Then he facepalms and shakes his head. "Not wizard. Druid. Sorry. Uh... what was it now?" He snaps his fingers a few times, then claps his hand. "Right! Redrum, er, Rediroth the Druid in Thundertree. That was it! Unless you lot already know the way, we can probably get a map from the coaster and be gone 'fore those thugs get funny. Let me know if you all change your mind about the horse thing." Lokk leaves on that note to get a map if the others don't have an idea already.

As they're walking to the stables, Ordrin finds a moment to talk to Mixum. "Back at the inn you said you could make some progress at the cave. What do you mean by that?"
Mixum becomes animated then attempts to reign in his enthusiasm. He has learned that people tend to think that he is crazy when he talks about his magical inventions.

OoC: So, there's Thundertree and Wave Echo Cave where we have objectives, right? But we don't know how to get to WEC anyway yet, so Rediroth first?
Right on both accounts. Just waiting on DM i guess about any complications to the stable, and/or acquiring a map with Thundertree on it. Unless Gundrun could've given us ample directions?
Lokk is willing/able to pay for 2 pony for a smaller race people, draft horse for himself along with any other necessary fixings for at least a five day journey.

The stable is able to find some horses to use. Gundren offers to pay for half of them if you want to keep the horses, or all if you return them to him when you get back.
Each horse is 75g. A pony will cost 30g but can only carry a smaller creature (gnome/halfling) or gear.
Gundren is able to give you adequate directions to Thundertree.
Wishing to not further deepen the debt, Lokk pays for the other half along with his own horse. Namely, the two ponies for the parties gnomes, leaving only Anton's and Odrin's to be paid for by Gundrun if none object to it.
Soon as debts are squared away, he offers to ride along the front of the group, ready to scout ahead if ever called for it.

Pip heads over to the stables with the others. He soon finds himself nearly face to face with a light brown pony named Tug. He looks into the pony's eyes and decides he doesn't want to be parted with him, he doesn't want to have to bring the pony back when this is done.
"Gundren, if you are willing to pay half I'll pay the other 15g to keep this pony. Does that include the saddle, bridle and other gear?"
Pip reaches into his purse to pay when he gets waived off. Turns out Lokk has paid already.
"Thank you Lokk. I'll buy you a drink at the next tavern."
He then eagerly swings up into the saddle and urges Tug out of the stable. He walks him about and gets the feel of the saddle. He pats the pony's shaggy neck.
"Yes Tug, you and I will get along fine."
Looking back at Gundren. "Any place to buy saddle bags? Maybe some apples as a treat?"
"Keep yer money, my toothy friend," Ordrin says to Lokk. "A dwarf's money is earned or found. Unless it's one of me half brothers, the louts." As Ordrin gathers up the majority of gold in his purse he turns to Gundren. "And thank you, Mr. Gundren. But a horse is likely to be food or fodder and I'm afraid I won't be able to return either of those to you."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lokk just nods in understanding to Ordrin. Aside from purchasing his own saddlebags for extra feed, the Half-Orc is content to mount up and wait for the others to finish their business and goodbyes. But he is watchful for any men in red lurking about, and looking upon the group in far too much interest. If he sees any he makes a mental note to tell the others once out on the road again.
"My thanks to you Gundrun." Mixum looks to see if there is a burro that might be available. He seems to have quite a bit of equipment with him. He will pay half of the cost as well.

Having acquired their travel means, Lokk looks around at the Redbrands. They appear to be giving you a wide berth.
Gundren claps Lokk's horse on the butt and it prances around a bit, causing Gundren to laugh. "Thank you lads. No matter what else ye do, you've earned a cut of the mines profits if ye come back with that map."

(Sorry, I'm going to be awol for a few days with family stuff)
Cool. Thanks for letting us know.
Pip sits atop his pony Tug, and strokes Tug's white mane.
"Let's get going then. It'll be lunch soon if we don't move out."
