Utar says his goodbyes to the others as they wander back along the road into Phlan, promising a drink at The Kettle should he see them there.
On their way through town, Utar breaks off from the party, heading to a small stall selling leather goods where he picks up a simple scroll case attached to a loop of leather allowing it to be worn over the shoulder (1gp) and tucks the scroll he received from Brother Keefe into it, with a feeling he will need it soon.
From there Utar heads towards the temple of Torm, putting most of his earned gold (45gp) towards the works of the temple, before finding his superiors to report the goings on in the tomb. Spending the next few days there, he researches the workings of dragon cults and their history with Phlan. He is also keen to find some information about Tempus to better understand his barbarian friend, Graxx.
"How about that...? Sounds like I just became your middleman, so I think a stay in town for while longer. I don't think anyone in my clan will complain if I requested to extend my stay as an agent-on-the-ground. See you around!"
Neya goes to the market to buy a bundle of arrows (1gp), a bag of caltrops (1gp), a handful of sage (1cp), and a tent (2gp). She then rents a room at the Tea Kettle (8sp?)
Cato wanders back to the Kettle. On the way he comes to a decision. While he has enjoyed his time in Phlan, the world is big, and there is much to explore. When he gets to the Kettle, he gathers his stuff, arranging it neatly in his pack. He bids Madame Freona and the girls adieu, and heads to the market. There, he purchases ten days of field rations, an herbalism kit, some more ink, and parchment. Finally, with one final glance back at the town, Cato slips into the woods. Where he will go, he does not know. But wherever it is, Cato will continue is pursuit of knowledge.
