Eye goo splatters across Wolf Pup’s face once more, he sighs and wipes his face once more. “Definitely not the Oni, disappointing, but pressing nonetheless. The priestess will be of use once more.”
As you stand there taking in the current events, the guards standing there looking frustrated and hurt. The sound of a single set of hands clapping catches your attention. Looking around, you watch as a hooded figure emerges from the still billowing smoke tower. They stand about the same height as an average human, maybe a little taller. They wear elaborate purple robes embellished with golden embroidery, and their whole body decorated with fine gold jewelry. What little skin you can see from their hands and face is pale blue in color. As they approach they seem to glide rather then walk out from the smoke. Free of the smoke they stop their clapping and a distinctly male voice begins to speak.
"Well, well, well. What have we here? Civilians? No too well armed for petty townsfolk. Guards, I wonder? No, to disjointed to be that. No care for authority from what I've seen. Heroes?" He looks you all over. "No. No. I see nothing heroic about you all. All brute force and not a lick of sense about you from what I've seen." He chuckles.
"And I've seen a lot. You there, young lady." He gestures to Tangle.
"Are you the one I have to thank for scaring my minions and ruining my plans for this hovel?"
Assuming Tangle does not recognize the voice, since it does not seem to recognize her...
She turns at his appearance, and during his villainous monologue, she draws an arrow and knocks it, but does not draw. She is Ready-ing an attack should he make a threatening gesture or begin to incant a spell.
"I have that honor, creature," she answers him.

The man doesn't seem to be bothered by Tangle's threatening appearance.
"Good to know, then I shall remember that face and the faces of your companions as well. Such a shame it is, to see such all this work and effort wasted all because children decided to stick their noses where they were not wanted. All the ideas I had for this land ruined, ah, but I suppose I should have expected this. The only thing I can do now is wipe the field clean and start anew. There are dozens of other cities along the coast I can pay a visit too. Before I do that however.." The figure moves turning to face the direction of the Temple of Wee Jas.
"I believe that little priestess has something that doesn't belong to her."
Both the axes and arrows pass through his form, scattering harmlessly across the cobblestone streets. He laughs quietly before turning back to the group, arms folded behind his back.
"Did you honestly think I'd come here myself? In the flesh? And leave myself open in such an obvious way? Oh no. I have too much to do to be tromping through mud like some commoner. No, I simply wanted to see who decided to keep gouging out my eyes in this corner of the world. You've popped quite enough to catch my attention. I'd ask you to stop as they're not so easy to make, but I have a feeling you are not to keen on listening."
"Who are you? SPEAK!" The final word is spoken as a commandment. DC 13 WIS save to resist, assuming Perry's magic can work through the figure's magic. It's auditory, not targeted. It won't work if it's undead.
Perry's bird is currently flying around in the sky, every now and then Perry can feel her come into range and can call her back if he chooses.
The figure laughs at Tangle's request and waves of Perry's attempted spell.
"My name matters not to you child, but if you all live long enough you will be gifted the. No patience, no care. So focused on the image in front of you that you don't even recognize the events taking place right beneath our noses. Just like this village, so focused on the polish of the outside that they don't see the rot festering from deep within. Ah, I suppose it doesn't matter now. No, now I must clean this mess you've made of my plans. Shh, do you hear that?" The man holds up a hand cupped around his ear. The ground shudders beneath you all nearly knocking you off your feet as a series of large explosions rock the city. Three large smoke clouds billow out into the evening air from different areas in the city.
"That is the sound of progress. Perhaps they aren't all so useless after all." He laughs. as his form flickers out of existence.
She curses fluently in Sylvan, and looks at the three new columns of smoke, unsure what to do. "To the temple? Where would you have us go, Captain," she addresses the guard in charge.

The captain curses as he looks around at the chaos.
"Damn it. Julia! To the docks! Killian! The Tavern! Round up people and get them to the bunkers now! I'm allowing full use of your powers, inhibitors off." The two guard nod and salute the captain. You see both of them remove the gauntlets from their wrists. The man turns sword drawn and the blade light up with blue crackling energy. With a snap of his figures he disappears from view. At the same time the woman runs off toward the docks, you see ice begin to form around her body crafting some kind of armor that continues to grow as she leaves your sight.
"You all, I don't know you but I'm going to trust you right now. Get to the Temple, meet up with my man Soren that I've sent there and help the priestess in any way she deems fit. The quickest way to the temple is through the market district. Go, now! You miss you look strong of body, come help me secure the gate." He gestures to Barbara, for a moment she looks torn before nodding and following the captain toward the area where the largest smoke tower is coming from, the City Gates.
