Andor, moving amazingly fast due to his magical boots and the spell practically flies up the incline, trusting in his friends to hold and beat back the barbarians.
Doubled movement and doubled dash as action for 120' total movement up the incline and heading back around towards the alter.

Vigan
Almost inviting the attack from the barbarian (#3), the goliath had estimated correctly that his weapon had the greater reach, and the barbarian finds the blade of Vigan's glaive swinging towards his torso before his spear gets anywhere near the fighter.

I think that first attack of opportunity hits, if so barb #3 ends up 10ft away from me. I'll move back 5ft, just to be irritating. :)
Aiming a flurry of blows at his opponent, Vigan gradually gives up ground in anticipation of fending off attacks from the other two barbarians heading his way.
Rixton, before continuing his ascent toward the altar and gong, lets an arrow sail across the ice cavern, and he narrowly misses his target. Andor reaches the top of the slope and dashes toward the altar, coming within 30' of it.
Meanwhile, on the cavern floor, Carrow and Ladrian focus their aim on the same barbarian (#4). Ladrian's shot whizzes harmlessly past, but Carrow hits with both arrows. The barbarian roars in a mixture of pain and rage as it continues its advance toward Carrow, at whom he swings his greataxe...
Melee attack: 19 | Slashing damage: 5
Vigan slashes his foe (#3) three times, but the barbarian presses forward and lunges at the goliath once again with his spear...
Melee attack: 20 | Piercing damage: 8
Two other barbarians (1 and 2) draw closer to Vigan while the fifth barbarian continues his dash toward the higher ground.
Another spear thrust is aimed towards the goliath's face, which Vigan bats away for a second time, his superior reach stopping the barbarian from getting anywhere near him.

After swiping at his attacker a few times, he again falls back to stand shoulder to shoulder with Carrow. "Some help here would be useful, Andor!"
Rixton makes an impressive shot from distance, hitting barbarian #4, and Vigan continues his onslaught against his spear-wielding foe, whose wounds are taking their toll.
(Actions for Andor, Ladrian, and Carrow are next, in any order; the barbarians will follow)
"There are only four of them, you've killed giants Vigan, giants!" Andor having crested the rise charges towards the edge overlooking the others (the join of the squares just above 53 and 55) when he gets there, he sees the lone barbarian running towards his own position, sighing he decides to help Vigan by casting Hypnotic Pattern over the two barbarians just away from the group. "That's all the help you are getting" - he turns back to the alter, looking it over, hoping for a sight of something that has made the trip worthwhile.

Carrow
The focus of Carrows attention is switched, watching his foe drop from a lethal shot to the head he turns and finds himself shoulder to shoulder with Vigan. The grim prospect of hand to hand combat now followed. Seeing Goliath and glaive carving at the enemy the Ranger draws both shortswords hoping to complement his companions reach. Spinning out under the glaive Carrow strikes low at barbarian #2
WIS saving throw for barbarians targeted by Andor's spell: Barbarian 1 17 | Barbarian 2 2
Ladrian's shot travels cleanly through the barbarian's (#4) skull, dropping him instantly. Andor's spell incapacitates one of the barbarians, but the other continues forward, ready to engage Vigan.
After casting his spell to aid Vigan, Andor hears an unfamiliar voice. In Common, it says, "Heed my warning! The Great Worm tribe is under the sway of Wormblod, an evil and bloodthirsty man. Slay him and be rewarded."
Not certain of the source of the voice, Andor is able to understand that he is hearing the words telepathically rather than audibly.
Carrow wounds the incapacitated berserker (#2) multiple times, snapping the barbarian out of his charmed state. He retaliates, with both hands on his spear he attempts to run Carrow through...
Melee spear attack: 6 | Piercing damage: 11
The other two berserkers on the cavern floor look to bring down Vigan...

Still moving like a blur Andor, rushes to the ledge before shooting a freezing ray at the berserker. "Rixton, there is one coming up from here keep an eye out." he says pointing at the lone enemy.

"I can't see him yet," I say. "Is there anything on the alter?"
(I'll wait to post my turn pending Andor's response.)
Ladrian
Moving closer to square 42, he goes after the injured barb#1 to take him down before he has a chance to attack again:
Attack: 18 Damage: 13
Andor
"Not that I can see so far but I heard a strange voice, did you hear anything, I think they were in my mind?"

Rixton:
Well, no artifact. We might have to knock on the door and ask for it. I nock a regular arrow and fire it at the gong.
Shortbow (+1) Attack: 24 Damage: 10
Then I dart up the ramp and onto the high ground (move + dash 40 feet)
(assuming it struck the gong...)
"Just you, me and that gong. No voices."
Andor
Andor looks at Rixton, mouth agape. "You couldn't have waited until we killed all the barbarians?"
