I'll give this until tomorrow for anyone else to intervene. If it comes to Krizzibond trying a grapple, then we will roll initiative. (You can do so right away if you are willing to let this play out via a fight).
I'll wait to see if anyone else wants to try anything - but if it comes down to it Krizz will go all Greco-Roman on the quaggoth hehe the plan would be to subdue or incapacitate the beast not kill (which is why he's not using the maul unless he needs to)
but I'll roll initiative either way to help propel the story along just in case
Sarith is kind of a gloomy ass, but he did help fight during the escape, so Beegred feels some obligation to keep him alive.
If it becomes a wrestle-fest with Derendil, Beegred will waste some of the extra water to splash Derendil in the face, followed by the wise advice (putting emphasis on each word, even if it is done telepathically): "You... must... chill !!"

Derendil only speaks undercommon, correct (that's all I see on his character on my sheet). No elvish, despite saying he's a elf that was turned into a quaggoth? Thinking about trying to use Command or something, but it doesn't work if we dont' share any languages :P

Derendil only ever speaks undercommon when he's in the heat of a battle. Otherwise, he speaks in urbane elvish (Urbane = well spoken, wordy, snooty).
Seeing as I would rule that Narstin could have been affected by Stool's telepathic spores AND that Narstin and Derendil share a common language (elvish), I'll assume that Narstin makes the attempt. So I will roll Derendil's WIS saving throw.
DC 13 WIS saving throw: 4
And he fails, so he must obey the command given. Please narrate what Narstin does and commands in the official thread.
So the idea with the "remember" command is to try to cause Derendil to remember his original self and bring him back to himself, to hopefully snap him out of the quaggoth fury.

OK. I just want to state here and now, that the outcome for this wasn't set in stone. A good persuasion roll, a good performance roll or a good command word would have ended this and opened up more dialogue into Derendil's backstory.
BUT if you go back and read what Derendil said, you'll see that he very much remembers he's a Prince and not a quaggoth. So the command works, but you have no idea what it is he remembers. And what he remembers doesn't sit well with him...
I'm going to retcon one little detail. When Derendil speaks as the Elf Prince, it's always very fancy elvish, with big eloquent words. When he gets angry, he reverts to undercommon. So in post #1424 of the main thread where I said he yelled out "I am not a quaggoth", it will be in Undercommon, not Elvish.
Waiting for Narstin to roll initiative. Roll for NPC's (I can add them to the map) if you want them to participate.
Note 1: Adding NPC's to combat eats a share of the XP.
Note 2: You will get XP for this, equivalent to fighting one Quaggoth. However, you do not need to fight to resolve this conflict. The door is still open for other means of resolution.
Note 3: I was up late putting this map together, finding tokens and all that. I didn't get around to creating a new grid (Letters and Numbers) in isometric. If you absolutely need to see where you are on the map, I can give you access to Roll20. I'll work on it asap for future encounters.
Krizz isn't looking to make this fight lethal if he can avoid it - that's why my plan is to grapple first to try and subdue or incapacitate Derendil. However if it comes down to it - he has his breath weapon and his maul is within reach - but I'm hoping we can try to resolve this without too much bloodshed. Though perhaps a large gout of acid to the face might be an effective deterrent as well - hehe.

He is slightly better with Intimidation, but I think that would be bad to try at this time.

Will do. Just have to figure out what word to actually use for hte command...

Maybe "relax" instead?
