I'm guessing that Jimjar and Eldeth are sitting this one out.
Those darn sleeping bag zippers snag when they tried to open them too quickly. Fortunately, they are off to the side.

No... unless you want Jimjar and Eldeth to sit that one out.
I forgot to write that Rodolfo was grappled. Lucky Rodolfo.
Edit: Now that I'm reading and not skimming Quasimodal's post, I get what you meant. But that wouldn't be my call to make. Rodolfo and Skameros control the two NPC's you have, so they would have had to keep them out of the combat.
I've posted that Beegred will try to get a few of the easiest cuts, and only a few pounds. Variety of food will keep morale higher.

I figured 15 lbs was a safe number. Any leftover octopus is probably going to smell bad by the 2nd day.
At least some of that can be used for bait in fishing or trapping other meat animals, maybe.

Unless there's a specific reason for Eldeth being last - Skameros can be last in case things sneak up on the party
Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I thought he was closer to the front (behind Beegred). With the reach of his weapons, it will be easier for him to fight if the party encounters something, while marching forward. Eldeth was put in back because of her use of the bow, and high Survival modifier (to notice if something is sneaking up).
Wherever you want to put Skameros, he should go there. I'm sure we can rationalize why that is the right place for him, wherever that is.

I don't know the weight of Skameros, but bugbears average 300 lbs. He is carrying another 400 lbs. I think that much weight on a creaky bridge is asking for trouble.
I like Rodolfo's suggestion to use Levitate on Skameros. But that means he would probably have to drop 7 out of the 10 water orbs to get within the weight limit of the spell.

Well now, every time a creature crits you... we will know what happened.
Does the party do anything before settling down to finish the long rest?
@Skameros: You do have 3 large octopus if you're looking for tasty food... Each large creature can be butchered to produce 32 pounds of food.
Large ones are chewy - babies are soft and tender
plus I think with all the mushroom pods we're still good to go on food for a while - unless someone else wants to take them

Just FYI, the current requirements for food is 4.5 lbs per day.
Jimjar, Rodolfo and Beegred are small races and only need .5 per day each. Skameros, Narstin and Eldeth need 1 lbs per day each.
(Same goes for water, just gallons in stead of pounds)

Long rest completed. Day 41 begins.
Follow-up rolls:
Crossing the bridge requires the party to go one at a time or single file. The bridge is 50 feet long.
I have the following order for single file marching order:
For some reason, I don't have Skameros in that list. Where do you want him?
What do you do?
Unless there's a specific reason for Eldeth being last - Skameros can be last in case things sneak up on the party

That was kind of the point - if he can cross ok - then everyone else can - and levitate actually doesn't work since all told Skameros is 765 pounds

Oh, well, **** :D
It's up to the DM to say if the spell is still on Skameros and he just doesn't levitate or the spell just failed.
