(I need to know if you are using the Cassandra's face from the church.. or the hooded face you couldn't really see from the tavern. Her face was shrouded so no one could see what it looked like inside the tavern. You do know that the cart took the person that paid you to the church, and you definitely know who was driving the cart, but you don't 100 PERCENT know that the woman that paid you was Cassandra, but you can tell the captain what you want. I just want to make sure I know what you are saying so I can plan accordingly. :D )
You would think that the voices were very similar. The robe that cassandra was wearing at the church had a hood but it was not up. The three people at the tavern all had their hoods up and their faces were obscured. Roll me a perception check.
You would say that the voices were very similar and the robes appeared to be very similar as well but the robe the woman was wearing at the tavern was fancier than the one that Cassandra was wearing at the church but that isn't to say that she didn't change her robe (your brother and sister know that the room Cassandra was in when you arrived had a few different silver robes hanging in it but you don't). I will let you decide which face you are going to use :D

Cinders will be with Veng the whole time. When Veng mentions a dog killing Brunt, Cinders cast his eyes to the ground not saying anything as he scratches Vignars head. He follows inside the guardhouse but assuming the dog won't be allowed inside, he tells Vignar to Sit and Wait outside.

When Vignar sits and waits patiently, Cinders grins, "Good boy! We won't be long."
he pulls out some dried beef from his dwindling supply and gives it to Vignar and sceatching his head one more time before heading inside.
The dog sits patiently outside chewing on the food given to him bu cinders as Pokim hides in the shadows in an alley nearby. The captain looks at both Veng and Cinders before continuing... "So this Brunt guy attacked your house and was the only one to survive in the fight... against you guys I assume... before a dog killed him... And during this time your parents and other siblings vanished? And before he died he told you a lady paid him to attack you all.. and you managed to track this silver robed woman to the church.... Well assuming you are telling me guess truth that narrows it down to about two hundred women in the town I would guess!" The captain says with a grunt. "Lots of women in this town attend that church... they seem to like the love and peace for everyone crap they spew over there..." The half orc mutters with an eye roll. "My name is Captain Brock and this here is Officer Penny" Brock says waiving a hand towards the woman. "I will see what I can do as far as following up on your story here... Ruby and Slate were good people.. helped us out of a few scrapes... Ruby used to spar with me on occasion... if she is missing it would have had to been a pretty tough person to take her.." He says with a slight look of concern before looking from the changling to the kobold. "
A moment later Pokim hears a commotion as two guards come running towards the watch building with a dwarf being supported between the two men. "Stone has been hurt! We found him slumped over in an alley with his clothes and equipment missing!" one of the guards yells as he bursts through the door nearly knocking over Veng and Cinders. "Aww hell, what is this!" Brock exclaims as Penny places her hand on Mr Stone's head and he immediately opens his eyes and staggers to his feet. "I got jumped by a bugbear pretending to be a prisoner and... some guy..." The dwarf says rubbing his forehead...
Veng will speak up and confess. "That was me, (taking the face of Brunt that Stone saw) I was convinced I'd find my family at the Church, he cuffed my brother. I panicked."
Veng sets his sword down and steps back. "I alone am responsible and will accept what comes. I'm telling you this because I need you to believe me and help my siblings find our parents even if I'm in a cell while it happens"
Veng will take Stone's face and set 2 gold down. "For your clothes" (returning to hisself) "sorry, I disposed of them after leaving the church. I took my brother the bugbear you saw, to the church. I was convinced the hatred of our races would cause a slip and they would reveal something "
Sorry I missed the post earlier, So as Gin vandalizes a book Vruuk looks through a few books and realizes that he has found a set of ledgers with the names of all of the members of the church as well as the weekly contributions to the church that each person is paying. some of the names have symbols next to them and show that they are not paying anything.

Vruuk bags the ledger. If he sees Gin messing around, he'll pick her up by the scruff, shake his head slowly at her in disappointment, then set her on his back. "Almost time." Vruuk(?) mutters as he tries make his way back up to the bell tower, and out to the alleys, leaving behind little trace of his existence other than a bad dream... and whatever folk decide to blame on him thanks to Gin's antics once the vandalism is discovered. :P

When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
Vruuk and Gin make it up the bell tower right as Cassandra and the other two men emerge from the room to the right with about six or seven other people. While the two of you climb up and then down the side of the church, you notice people file out of the church and start heading home. As you get down to the alley running alongside the church, you both notice the guards hauling a dwarf into the watch building across the town square.
Inside the watch building, you see looks of anger spread across the faces of the guards still helping Stone to stand, along with Brock. "Come with me!" The half orc would command, grabbing the Changeling and dragging him into a small room towards the back of the building. The half orc would kick in the door before throwing Veng inside, leaving Cinders standing alone next to Penny and a few of the other guards. "Don't worry kobold, Captain Brock is tough but fair.... I mean he does kind of take it personally if someone assults one of his men... but I am sure your brother will be fine..."Penny says with a forced smile trying to hide a slight look of concern as you all hear the sound of the door being kicked in before slammed again behind the half orc and changeling. After slamming the door behind him, Captain Brock would pick up Veng by the front of his shirt and land a hard uppercut (Dealing 6 bludgeoning damage), sending the changeling falling backwards and landing on his back on top of a small table in what you would assume is some kind of basic interrogation room. "DO YOU HAVE ANY.... IDEA... HOW HARD YOUR PARENTS WORKED TO GET PEOPLE IN THIS TOWN TO ACCEPT PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND YOUR SIBLINGS... PEOPLE LIKE ME!" The half orc would yell just inches from Veng's face with spit raining down upon him. Brock would lower his voice a tiny bit as he tries to calm himself down. "It is because of them that I was able to rise up to the position I hold today.... They started changing the minds of people in town and it is my job to keep them changed the right way... now how am I supposed to keep the townsfolk from treating anyone that looks different from them like garbage if they think face changers and huge hairy beasts are roaming the streets at night beating up guards! Guards sworn to protect them and YOU!" The half orc would yell once again before throwing the changeling across the small room, his body heaving up and down as he takes deep breaths. "If you were just a average citizen of this town, I would beat you and lock you up... but you arn't... yer one of Ruby and Slate's kids... so I am going expect more out of you because it is your responsibility to show the town what kind kids they were raising..." The half orc would say moving to Veng and picking him up off the ground and standing him back on his feet. "you... and your brothers and sisters that managed to avoid being captured... you are going to help find yer loved ones... and yer going to help out the community while doing it." Brock will say as he moves to the door that is barley hanging on its hinges and opens it. "And if I catch you breaking the law again I am going TO STOMP YOU INTO A DAMN CRATER AND USE YOU AS A LATRINE!" The orc will say raising his voice as he motions Veng to rejoin his sibling. As Veng emerges from the back room, Penny will let out a sigh of relief "See... I knew he would be fine...She reassures Cinders as she winces a bit at the changlings swollen jaw. Mr stone is now sitting wrapped in a blanket as another guard wipes some of the blood off of his face from where it was running out of his nose and ears while another places a cool cloth on the side of his head to try to reduce some of the swelling and bruising.
Veng stayed silent the whole time. No attempt to block the blow or talk back. When warned about breaking the law again "yes sir". Once out he will reclaim his sword and sheath it.

Based on hearing them both talk directly too me in relatively quiet places did I recognize the voices as the same? Was Cassandra's robe hooded?
If I truly have reasonable confidence that it was the same I'll use Cassandra's face. Less than 70% confidence I'll show the hood.
