The demon’s head rolls away and begins to crumble back into the earth, as does its body.
The Fjol trolls rush over to you, “Are you alright? That was a great victory! The evil man who controls the forest will be much weaker now.. it is indeed time to strike at him in the heart of Trudvang! There is still some time to rest though... We will take you to the Heart of Trudvang at first light as promised.”
You all wearily return to the cave together, patch up your wounds, and try to go back to sleep as the excitement of the battle slowly wears off. You wake in the morning a little after sunrise and find you not only feel well rested, but you also feel quite a bit stronger...
Angie wakes up refreshed but worried. While eating a little breakfast provided by the trolls she confesses to her companions, "I don't know how we're going to be able to do this. We almost died last night. I passed out and would have been lost if not for the help of these friendly Trolls. I don't know if we're strong enough. I have been praying to the gods, but I don't know if they can hear me in this place. To be very honest, I'm afraid."
Gobber wakes up to the sun shining through the branches, stretching his arms as he rises.
"Mmmm ah....." Gobber looks surprised as he remembers falling asleep around the battle. "What......did we move to another location while I slept? I recall there us fighting some creatures of the dark."
"Well, it's okay, your large strong presence was a large help to the party. Surely those things were afraid of you."
Gobber turns to Angie in a friendly manner, "The lass did a wonderful job staying calm throughout the event. Especially Healer doing mighty damage onto those beasts."
Gobber thinks aloud, "Turning into beast must be a handy ability of yours. I was thinking about getting myself a personal companion myself to help me with scouting. Maybe the trolls could help me obtain one?"
Gobber sits down with the group and enjoys his breakfast with the party.
"Nothing beats a hearty meal in the rosy cheeks of the sun."
The trolls from the battle come out of the cave to join you around the cookpot, "Did we hear someone say they needed an animal companion? We found a fox pup a few months back and have been caring for it. We were going to release it back to the wilds soon, but if you are a beast master it may be in better hands with you. These are dangerous times for a lone wolf in the forest anyway."
"How does killing those creatures make the evil man weaker?"
"They will no longer be there to protect him when he needs them... He raises the things from the dead and the earth with dark magic... We must strike before he can create more..."
"Beastmaster? Well....I ain't no master of a beast, but I was hoping to learn something about that from you. I ain't well versed in that so can I ask you fellars to teach me something?"

Gobber inserts his both his blades into the neck/nape of the dark dweller and kicks the body, removing the head from the body.
"*gasp gasp* That'll do it. " Gobber then lies on the ground with his back gasping for air.
The demon’s head rolls away and begins to crumble back into the earth, as does its body.

"Agree. My strength did nothing to them."

"Does anyone want to go ask the trolls about anything with me after this?"
"I will go."
