A forewarning: Curse of Strahd is a very open-ended adventure and there is no "right" way to complete it. There is, however, a singular objective: kill the vampire Strahd von Zarovich so that you can escape his domain before it is too late. How your characters go about it and how they behave while in the land of Barovia is up to you, so take your time, enjoy the sights, and happy hunting.
I started with Curse of Strahd in my home session a few months ago and I love this module. I'd like to run it for some players on here as well! I'm looking for 4 - 6 players of any experience level, but if there is enough interest I might run two separate games. If you're interested reply in this thread or shoot me a PM with the application below. Of course, if you have any questions please post them here or shoot me a PM.
Characters will begin at level one. You may pick attributes by point-buy or use a standard array. Please stick to published Forgotten Realms content. No homebrew, UA, Eberron, Ravnica, CR, etc. Feel free to use either starting equipment or starting gold. Please use XP-based progression, as it will be the easiest way to reward players who stay active. All alignments are accepted, I only ask that your characters are willing to be team-players. Thank you!

Backstory: Does not need to be too in-depth, just information that I can use to create hooks to draw you into the adventure :)
Backstory: Yesquirelle was always a rather dark child, which set her apart from the other elves. She didn't seem to share the more carefree attitude of most of her people, and seemed fascinated with death. Her parents tried to cure her of this morbid fascination, but she would just seem to gravitate even more towards it. She never seemed to wish to cause it, just to observe it. Eventually, though, she saw too much of it. An outbreak of undead happened nearby, and a hoard of zombies slaughtered everyone in her village but her. She was afterwards taken in by a priest of Kelemvor, and became devoted to ridding the world of undead.

Backstory: Adira is a tiefling bard who comes from a long line of entertainers. She was raised by her father, and is striking out on her own for the first time. Talented and intelligent... but not always wise...

Backstory: Aka was never one for the tribe. As soon as he could, he left. He preferred animals instead of people, and enjoyed hunting in the wild. He always enjoys to fight from a distance, and use traps to his advantage. He is smart, so he prefers to not go out when it's daytime unless he has help in case of a fight. Master of the bow and skilled at preventing death near him, he has fended off hordes of Undead every now and then, but never by himself.
Availability: Generally all week
Experience: I've played a few game here and there. (Look at my signature)
Backstory: Ericina is a member of the Noble house of Onc, a well to do house from Waterdeep. Due to her father being the younger brother when her grandfather passed on her uncle was made the leader of the house, making her far from being in line to taking control. Growing up Ericina was always rather strange and did not fit in with the members of her family, often wandering off on her own to play with the various animals that lived in the garden in the courtyard. When she was old enough to act on her own she cut ties with her family and married a young half elven ranger, relocating to the woods the elves called home. While she showed some altitude as a ranger her real interest was in the practices of the druids her husband met. After while she was taken under the tutalage of an elven druid, living in relative peace for a few years. After an orc raid where her husband died Ericina was driven partially mad and wandered off on her own, never staying in one place for long.
Darth, she looks good but she's sounds like a bit of a loner, I just want to emphasize that this campaign will take teamwork but welcome aboard I'll send you the link in a second :)
She isn't a loner but she is slightly crazy. Her biggest thing is she didn't like city life that much and in the backstory of her family there is a lot of drama she wanted to get away from. I will still make sure to keep her as team player.

Rekuberk Onc Level 8 | Half Orc | Barbarian (The Tales of the Fellowship of the White Cloaks)
Backstory: Bala is a albino tabaxi who was born favoring the chase. He has no qualms with working ligit, its just that stealing can be a bit more fun. It's all in good fun. He once stole an old man's wedding ring only to give it back that night, polished, with an apple. The town of Bathes, his home, had a prison that may as well have been his home. He felt much more comfortable knowing that trained guards were tasked with keeping him put as well as protecting him from cellmates he may have pissed off. When he got old enough and more akin to his skills, Bala said farewell to Bathes and hitched a ride on a passing spice cart. He didn't know where he was going, he'd just hoped that wherever it was, they would give him a good chase.
Experience with D&D: I've watched a few podcast and played less than a few pbp campaigns.
@Soda just get that character to me as soon as you can and we can get started with this party :)
@Darth Alright, good to hear, welcome aboard!
@Bobo Ah I see, just wanted to check your equipment and everything, feel free to change it to what you want once we get content sharing up. I'll send you the link

I didn't have kobold or outlander, so this is a Dragonborn Acolyte. Pretend it's a kobold. https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/BoboBoombang/characters/6966745
stats should be as if it were a Kobold.
