The room itself is a lot smaller than it appears it should be. A opening for a grand chancel cut short by a rock wall. The stones jutting out in random directions. Rune-covered-tiles form a semi circle starting at the floor and rising up to the ceiling. A single goblin stands chanting before the wall, the runestones spinning around it as it keeps talking in primordial. The single goblin stands about 40 feet away from where you all stand.
Shale, the Goblin King, is also in the room. He's standing there in the middle of the room, looking back at you all. A mystic armor seems to surround him; made of similar materials that hangs in the air in this level of the cave.
Nearby, several cages are full of other goblins. They look quite... ill. The color having faded from them. Those motes which cover the air seeming to be drawn out of them.
"Your brother would have gotten here faster," Shale says as he notices Diadochi. "How is Oxian..." he stops, noticing Diadochi carrying the elder. "I'm surprised you haven't been bitten by that one yet." Shale's voice is quite different this time. No longer a squeaky goblin. His accent in the common tongue quite thick, Ethurian and a hint of... something else. "Now, I suggest you stay there and watch the show. I need you alive. This will be easier with all of us."
Ethuria
The most powerful of the 5 Kingdoms. They are the seat of power of the Faith. Most of their citizens are highly devout.
Diadochi scoffs "ah yes, the old 'compare your opponent to their brother which they have a complicated relationship gambit'. Classic that. As an amateur enthusiast of monologues I can tell you, you need some work. As it turns out Oxianus wouldn't of beat me here on account that he's dead" deception2 . "That magic thing you made a deal with and you started conquering your own people... did something similar happen to him or was that his own doing?" THere is a pause "It's very interesting that you need us alive because I would very much like to fight you to the death." Diadochi charges Shale.
Shale tilts his head a bit. "Is he..." there's a bit of a pause. "Interesting. Sad. Perhaps I underestimated your mother and her devotion to..." he snaps his fingers a few times. "Parn Tuk? Whatever the philosophy you so desperately try to hold on to like a fading star." Shale's feet never really seem to stop moving. Keeping himself light on his toes; clearly expecting all of this to turn to combat. "You know. I rather liked him. I remember sparring with him.. back when we were all younger. He would have made a excellent warrior of the Faith. But. Not my fault he made his way into that war of the tusks."
"Killing my own?" he touches his face. "Ah. Right. To much to explain. Least right now. But I can tell you. We are all after the apple. But to get there, I need this," a hand gestures to the goblin chanting, "to finish the spell so we can all go through. Once we all find the apple, we can all beat each other senseless. Assuming you're all alive still."
There's a Hn'ti whistle from behind. Low. Faint.
"Consider this all a gift. I do not think you and your party have the fortitude to open this gate."

Shale begins to move off of his feet, energy crackling between his fists as some kind of radiant energy begins to form. He speaks, but not goblin or common. It sounds closer to halfling.
Rot (if saves, continues chanting): 2
Round 1 (Begin)
Setup: The 40 foot chamber is clearly only half of the original chamber. The far wall, the Goblin (Rot), is chanting with the three runestones circling around it. Shale is 20 feet in the middle of the chamber. Off in the corners, are several cages full of goblins.

Initiative 8
Balling her fist up Yaalin swings a haymaker into Rots Jaw attempting to break it to stop the chanting permanently. Attack: 8 Damage: 3 (editing the damage but the first attack roll was an 8 in case is screws up)
She will then attempt to grab a runestone from the air....
Abigail enters the room and takes everything in as Shale and Diadochi trade verbal banter...
"Ugh, great... Moral quandaries." She looks at the Rot and the caged goblins, trying to estimate the spell, effects of the spell on the trapped goblins, the number and types of goblins in the cages, and the amount of time remaining before the spell is complete.
Because I am not sure what sort of rolls all that might entail, here are my picks:
Arcana: 12 - What sort of spell, how much complete, what sort of effect on goblins
Insight16 - What sort of effect on goblins, if I think the spell will end with their being dead... how dead do they look
Perception - 7Spot how many and type of goblins in the cage, other things that might help answer the other questions.
((Edit with any additional actions later, depending on turn order))

Abigail you quickly try to assess the situation.
You're now well versed in the arcane. Quickly thinking... it's probably a spell. It's probably a ritual. And it's probably soon. The runes on the wall are definitely there for a reason. And everyone's been saying that something's been locked away... so you're best guess is that they're trying to open a vault. But why it's pulling intangible motes of light from the goblins is beyond you. You do see some even leaving Rot, more so coming from the nearly two dozen goblins left in the cages... some you don't think are even alive anymore... but, none coming off of Shale.

Diadochi rushes towards Shale, "speaking ill of an opponet's mother? Are we school yard children now?" He brings down his hammer on Shale attack 23 if hits then trip attack add 4
Diadochi says "oh no, Shale. I think you've bitten off more than you can chew!" Action surge attack again 9
Shale's elbow first attempts to slam into one of the Hn'ti's chests, before the singular motion continues. A bolt of radiant energy streaking out from his palm towards Yaalin.
His arms move in a circular motion. hands forming a quick series of signs before a streak of fire explodes on Diadochi and the Hn'ti beside him.
Abigail rushes over to the cage and attempts to open it so that any of the goblins still remaining can attempt to flee.
Not sure if Abigail can get over there or not this round based on your description, but she will use Feline Agility to get there this turn if possible.
Lafetha (Auto Action) She heads over to Sim, placing a hand on his shoulder and casting cure wounds, before gathering a few loose stones and casting magic stone

Hn'ti Save v Fire: 14
Round 1 (End)
Summary: Sim switches the target of his helm, stepping about 10 feet into the room to get the creatures in range. On the surface, they seem afraid. Unsure as to what's going on, and who you all are. If you're here to help or not. Diadochi swings, striking against the magical aura around Shale (11), attempting to knock him down. Shale keeps himself steady and upright, before dodging out of the way of his second attack. The Hn'ti toss Javelin's and move to engage Shale, but all seem to miss. Abigail moves (feline grace) and begins to fiddle with the lock. It's pretty basic, a little rusty. After fidgeting with it, there's a loud click of the tumblers being pushed into place and the pins coming undone. The lock swinging down and open. Yaalin moves to Rot, swinging her first but managing to strike very wide. The runestones seeming to move around Rot still, not able to be grasped by Yaalin's hand. Shale slams his first into one of the Hn'ti warriors (10) breaking several ribs with a loud crack, before missing Yaalin with a ball of radiant energy. Almost immediately after, flames erupt at one of the Hn'ti and Diadochi. The Hn'ti catching on fire, and looking worse for ware. Lafetha moves up behind Sim, healing him (+11), before getting some magic stones. Rot continues to cast.
Setup: Diadochi, two Hn'ti warriors, and Shale are all engaged in melee. 10 feet away from them to the south, Lafetha and Sim stand near the opening of the odd shaped cave. 20 feet to the north of shale, Rot and Yaalin are engaged in a melee.
