Diadochi will try to see any dangers before heading into the centre of the room perception7
The room is poorly lit. You see the things moving in the water, but aren’t able to tell how big or how many. Just that they’re fast and can keep with the current.
The walls are corse natural stone. Small handholds make it so it could be climbable; but tricky as someone would have to climb upside down at a few points. With them being slick from the water in the air; even Abigail might have some trouble adhering to the rocks (STR/athletics check unknown DC)
otherwise, it’s the danger of trying to get the rope. And possibly falling down on the catwalks or into the water and down the waterfall. Where ever that leads is beyond your ability to see.

Lafetha looks around. She’s certain this is the only one to get up to the next floor based on what’s in the room. glancing at the rope; it does appear to be more or a ladder that if someone could get down, would make it easy to go up. However the rock walls still seem difficult.
looking over at the water, you can’t get a clear sight of the fast moving creatures. Some kind of fish. But if they live in the same water as that plant from before, are probably dangerous.
Lafetha tells the group that she is going to turn into a spider and climb up to let the rope down.
She then performs Wild Shape on herself to turn into a spider and begins to crawl up towards the ladder ((double move towards the rope to get out of the hole))
perception to check for guards/anything out of the ordinary 12
Lafetha, you effortlessly climb up the walls. Your spider body sticking along the slick walls and heading up to the room above. The entire situation changing once you arrive. A smooth stone floor, a room full of barrels and supplies of different kinds. Some reeds, bound together, hanging from the ceiling in order to dry. Three different archways lead into other rooms, all seeming to be somewhat similar. A few rooms down, you do notice a staircase that would lead up, probably into the camp. You don't see any guards or Hn'ti around though. There are faint sounds of talking, but you're not sure exactly how far away it is.
As a spider, you tug on the rope. Push on the rope. Slam your spidery self into the rope ladder that sits on the floor. Nothing. The heavy material just too much for you to actually toss down as a spider. Down below, the group watches the spider crawl around it in a effort to manipulate the object.
Cora leans slightly over to Abigail. "Does she think she can actually move it as a spider?"
(Yaalin)
Your Shield of Faith fades as you once again concentrate, calling out to the Ancestors for Guidance. Looking around, you attempt to find somewhere to hide. While there are a few little outcroppings, the wolves and goblins watch as you scamper off to hide. Taking a few minutes to duck low behind rocks and move around once you feel line of sight is broken. (Disadvantage to the roll to attempt to hide while being watched; -5. Adding +4 for Guidance)
You hear some goblin words, and a splat sound where you once were. Eventually glancing up and over, you look back out.. Where you were, it seems the goblins tossed you a horn, a bit of shoulder, and one of the eyes. A bit of a offering, probably due to the fact you calmed the creatures down and gave them a good shot on their hunt. The wolves still notice you as you pick your head back up to look around the corner. Each of them chewing on some of the goat themselves, they don't really give you any mind. But you notice their noses sniff the air, then look at you, before going back to their meal. The two wolf riders are sitting down, wiping the blood from their hands and knives, a butchered goat laying near them. One of the riders a dull reddish in hue, and the other more blue-gray. A color similar to goblins you've fought in the attack on Rest, and saw riding with Shale/Cora on the ice.
About 20 feet away from the riders, is another three. A hobgoblin that seems rather well armed, with sword, shield and bow. A heavier winter cloak pulled tightly around it's rather finely made armor. Another figure stands nearby; two long horns coming out from loose fitting closing. Similar to the burned mask wearing creatures you saw in the Hn'ti caves. Both are talking to what you think is a goblin woman... but her skin is bright amber in color, and her fire-colored hair dances like a candle. Two batchy purple streaks run through her hair closest to her ears. A heavy cloak is loosely drawn on her shoulders, giving away finely made clothing underneath. Not the kind of clothing you'd see out on the trails.
You can't hear what they're saying, it being too far away. Not like you'd understand it anyway if they're all just speaking Goblin to one another. The robed figure seems to look in your direction, but you're not sure if it notices you, or is simply watching out for any dangers. The remainder don't seem ready for a fight.
"Diadochi would give me such an earful for trying to hide. He knows I am not good at it," quickly brushing a tear from her eye she stands shedding any pretense of hiding scooping up the offering from the hunters, raising them up as a sort of, thank you, salute. finding the emptiest bag she can she sets them within and walks carefully in the direction of the standing figures when she gets close she will incline her head as a small bow to the assembled beings.
"Umm, by any chance do any of you speak the common tongue? or anything older?"
The entire time despite her best efforts her eyes will continue to drift to the masked figure and the fascinating hair her curiosity in full control of her.
"I appear to be lost and am looking for someone, well somewhere I guess, drat this is not going well is it?" she rubs her hands "Please at least tell me what the masks are for, or how you got your hair to do that amazing movement? is it magic? I don't even know if you understand me but you are so intriguing I can't seem to stop speaking. I am sure Diadochi has met people like you but he isn't here right now to tell me about you, them really and oh dear I believe I am rambling."
she then snaps her mouth shut as nervously waits for a reply.
Abigail shrugs at Cora, "She did some pretty amazing things as a spider before... but nothing so clearly out of her league."
While she waits, Abigail will see if she can figure out the fish as well - mainly for her own interest, since they appear to be fish. Delicious, savory fish... when was the last time she had fresh fish? Nature: 9
The group turns to look at you. At first, the hobgoblin steps forward. Hand going for it's weapon. Fingers wrapping around the hilt of a arm sized ax, just standing there to make sure there's some distance between you and the fire-haired goblin woman and the mask wearing one.
They all seem to just.. stare. Listening to your words.
"She seems nice," the fire haired woman begins.
"Yes. A reef-walker. Don't see them here often," the hobgoblin replies. Speaking in common, although with quite the thick unknown accent.
"I'm Keetra," the goblin woman says. "Seventh born to the Prince." She steps forward, the masked person saying something which she seems to just wave off. Her head leans in, wafting her hair over your hand. Her locks thick, soft, and oddly warm. "And I'm touched by the Heart of the Mountain, as we say where I'm from. Who are you searching for? And... what's the reef?" she asks, both to Yaalin and her bodyguard.
Cora looks at Abigail with a questioning look, before giving a bit of a shrug and leaving the subject alone. Abigail, looking in the water, also has a hard time getting a good look at the fish. They're not very big, but there are a good amount of them darting to and fro. Bursts of speed as they dive down and up.

"Right! That!" Keetra clearly has no idea what that is, but seems to accept it. "You join a family, we can take you in, work within stations, move up and move down. Castes. And all that." She gives a firm nod. "It's why we're out here. I'm seventh born. Not first, fifth, or tenth! Plain old seventh. "Cultures are funny though. Each District is a bit different. When you speak of Shale, one of the wolf riders perks up as does the masked person. The wolf-rider begins to speak, rapidly, firing off question after question at Yaalin in goblin. It takes a minute for it to become quiet and giving Keetra a moment to translate into common. "So, Shale. Grub there followed Shale for some great awakening, but, it didn't work. So he escaped by some... spiders... and then went off on their own. We found Grub and now they work with us. Adopted into the caste. Family. Thing."

It clicks with you, the other two that wore masks were possible agents to deal with Shale, or at least Zeb. And possibly Rot?"
Cora walks down the hallway, reaching the stairs that the other can see. She turns back, waiving at others to follow.

Cora glances at Diadochi and Sim, then over to Lafetha. "You all know this area far better than I. What should we expect up there? I, personally, won't be going up to scout ahead in a territory you're all familiar with. I'd be much more inclined to head up as a group. If we're caught, strength in numbers. After all, we are here to assassinate someone."
Diadochi nods, "yes, I think gathering Intel probably the wiser course if action... Assuming there are no terror runes we set off. I think we should head after you if we don't hear anything in 5 minutes."
