"Not sure, a lot has changed in five years. I hope that the people of Solace haven't changed too much. This place is warm and comforting" Zar said as he followed leery now of Solace. he watched walking slower but working through the battle drills he was instructed in and experienced over his past few years.
Fangor too continues into Solace. He takes note of the trees, noting they don't appear much different than before. His thoughts then turn to the Inn and Otik's Spiced Potatoes as his stomach growls lightly.

Shan
After the intial happiness to be at home again, Shan were getting worried about their missing friends. Still the stew and the care of Otik seemd to start having a positive effect on her. Still recovering from the tests at the High Tower she looks at Alex going to the bar for tonight's supper and took antoher sip of the strong tea that she were taking since the tests. She relaxed against the wooden wall, and moved a hand to touch the warm surface of her staff. At least they were at home despite all that new faces she didn't recognize.
One of the patrons stumbled and make her drop the tea over her white tunic. The man looked at her panicked but the young wizard just smiled and assured him that everything was alright. When the man continued his way she moved her hand over her tunic, clenaning it and feeling the tips of her fingers twinkled with the magic energies.
She would need more hot water though, so she looked around her.
Then her face went pale. She were so focused on her own thoughts that she had lost the kender.

Taylon
Taylon was delighted. All that new people to introduce to, and to know. He was walking around the common room of the Inn. Sure Alex and Shan had told him not to move, but he was quite sure that they were talking about not to move from the Inn, and he hasn't left the Inn... yet.
While he puts a copper ring that somehow were in his left hand in one of his pockets he started to listen to the old man telling histories, and he approaches it, ready to listen, but then he saw a couple of farmers that he didn't know before, or at least they looked like farmers, and decided that it was only polite to introduce himself.
" Greetings and good night, I am Taylon Wanderdust nice to meet you" he offers his hand but no one shaked it. He just ignores it, used to that effect in the rest of the races of Krynn with his race. They excused and said that they should be leaving, and after wishing them a good night, and put the coin purse of one of the men inside another pocket reminding him to give it back, for the man clearly had lost it in their hurry to go.
He looked around "What I was going to do?" he asked to himself. "Oh I remember.. I haven't introduced myself to that couple over there... " he walked towards them thinking that they seem newcomers to the city and perhaps they could need someone to introduce them to people. Surely Shan could be a good friend with the woman, both of them carry staffs, and Alex could talk with the man about bows perhaps... wait a minute! That man is telling histories! And Taylon loves histories! he approached him...
The Inn was so crowded on this night that the three were continually forced to stand aside on the stairs to let men, women, and children pass them. Brenton noticed that people glanced at him and his companions with suspicion-not with the welcoming looks they would have given five years ago.
Fangor's face grew grim. This was not the homecoming he had dreamed about. Never in the years he had lived in Solace had he felt such tension. The rumors he had heard about the malignant corruption of the Seekers must be true.
Five years ago, the men calling themselves "seekers" ("we seek the new gods") had been a loose-knit organization of clerics practicing their new religion in the towns of Haven, Solace, and Gateway. These clerics had been misguided, Fangor believed, but at least they had been honest and sincere. In the intervening years, however, the clerics had gained more and more status as their religion flourished. Soon they became concerned not so much with glory in the afterlife as with power on Krynn. They took over the governing of the towns with the people's blessing.
A touch on Fangor's arm interrupted his thoughts. He turned and saw Brenton silently pointing below. Looking down, Fangor saw guards marching past, walking in parties of four. Armed to the teeth, they strutted with an air of self-importance.
Though the Inn was busy tonight by some turn of event and the help of fate, the companions spied Shanryar sitting at an empty table. An old man was spinning tales near the earth and your table.
As soon as Zar set a foot on the hard wooden floor Otik shouted over the crowd. "Hey, did you bring me new spices? I m always looking for new ways to improve on my potatoes." He waves the minotaur over in a friendly manner a huge smile on his face.
Algrenon dashes along the tree line sliding to a hard stop as he plants himself firmly and lets out another arrow shot. This one's aim to be the lead goblin in front
12 < First Roll > Advantage Roll(if still hidden from goblins) 13 Cursing under his breath as soon as the arrow lets loose he can tell it wont make its mark. He looks up at the quickly darkening sky and lets out a sigh, realizing ranged combat will quickly become a hinderance he slings his bow around his shoulders and pulls out his rapier. He crouches down attempting to hide one last time , readying to sprint out after them.
Zar holds up a hand pausing the ever friendly innkeeper with a set of spices from his kit. "I learned to finally cook from an innkeeper in Solamnia," He said as he hands them over to Otik.
"I just need to replenish them with local spices," He says sincerely as he slips off his helmet to show his monstrous features. Near his right eye came something new. A scar as well a few across his nose. his left ear had a deep cut that split it. All new wounds, all he will keep reminding him of the prejudicious he faced going back to Solamnia to meet his former teacher and speak to the Knights whose faith seemed to have waned.

Solomon kisses his gold signet ring and then grabs his quarterstaff with his left hand. "This is not what I imagined for a welcome party. But I'll take it!"Solomon awaiting the rushing goblins then decides to look around at his surroundings to see if he should worry about any other surprise attackers.

"Zar - why didn't you say something, the pair of us could've help you patch up some... Well, more Fangor than myself, but still," reacts Brenton.
After the initial reaction wears off, Brenton, ever suspicious, observes the room, looking for unfamiliar faces, odd folk that seem out of place, and anything else that happens to catch his eyes.

"Its fine, Other things are more important." He says stoically as the first time he stepped into the Inn. He looked around for any familiar faces. " Otik could I have some food and ale, I am tired from my journey and the burden I bear is heavy," He says slipping the helmet under his arm wondering if any would lob stones or worse at him. Times had changed, with militia afoot, maybe the once good people he had come to admire and trust would too seek to harm him with stone and word. They might even be foolish enough to challenge him, something he would hate to happen as he hated having to hurt others, but in his line of work, he had too.
As Zar, Brenton and Fangor enter the Inn there is a lull in the general sound as the crowd turns toward them. Some stare but a voice, breaks the lull.
A small figure, rushes past everyone and stops before the three. Taylon huge grin is communicative and the three find themselves smiling too.
Brenton, ever vigilant, casts a glance at the crowd as the Kender takes them to the others. He notices that the old man telling stories cast a furtive glance at the woman who is trying to be conspicuous, and nods to himself.
Far to the back, a man, to much into his drinks, calls to Tika for more. He wears white and expensive looking robes and a heavy gold chain with the symbol of the Seekers hanging around his neck.
Tika, red faced and trying to be everywhere at the same time, casts a glance to Alex. She blushes some more.
As the companions sit down together after such along time Otik, arms loaded with drinks and food approaches.
"That s on me, I m so happy to see you all." in whispers he adds, " Things haven't been the same here you know."
