I don't think we'll be getting that bonus for ensuring the trip goes off without a hitch...
Yeah, I was thinking we’re in a rough way. Barrels of oil are gone. Boss is dying. Mules were eaten. And poor Ladle. Friggin’ Gorrillians, being all Planet Earth one second and all Congo the next.
Just wanted to say well done again for all completing the combat, especially working a way out of it without needing to kill them! Alexia can have an 'Inspiration' for that :)
I hope you now all feel familiar with how I run combats, and how I try to change things up with tactics, cool moments and interesting environments as best I can. And as always, any feedback is appreciated!

I like it. I'm glad Arc missed with the Eldritch Blast because that made the resolution more believable. I just couldn't NOT fire the blast because Arc would have done it. This is fun.

I was very amused by the way everyone just ran over to Garun and went insane, and Alexia is on 6 hp just hanging out in the tree. She wouldn't say anything though, lol
And 4/7 of you have at least some form of healing, so pretty handy in a pinch! I tend towards making combats difficult so I'm sure you'll all be glad of it soon enough :P

It's because everyone is eager to get in his will if he goes, guns don't go cheap!

Sorry haven't played a paladin since 4th addition and it's 'at will' in that so my bad!

No worries, everybody makes mistakes, especially when it nitty-gritty mechanics! :) Do you want to edit your post in the campaign thread?

Ha!
It's not as bad as you think though, only one barrel was destroyed and only one mule was killed. Ishaz and Ladle are dead though :(

oh darn, I was hoping we might still save Ishaz.

It's not impossible. That claw was like a handful of daggers across his neck though, not great for his health.

Oops, I misread the post about Connor being healed. Sorry for the confusion. Well Connor has now been healed twice!
Lot's of stuff ...
@Laserwhit, you're good, people have already attacked the apes and talking them down was a bit of a long shot if the nat 20 doesn't work its magic
