Barnaby wakes as daylight hits him. He rises rubbing the crust from his eyes.
“Is there bacon? Oh, well, look at what the cat dragged in. It’s that Fo-pay fellow. Doesn’t look like he’s had a good night. I assume that he must have come along to fight the good fight with us in the end. We probably should let him sleep though. We can talk to the seer without him.”
The whole thing looks a little unnatural. Fope does not look like he lay down to sleep here. His bed roll is still attached to his sack, and he appears to be unconscious, rather than sleeping the way the rest of the party did the night before. Despite all his wounds, though, you can also see that he is not in danger of dying from them.
What curse would that be, Føpé the runner. You seem to be in need of some medical attention or at least a good long rest and a bit of a wash and rinse. Where have you been, why did you run, these folks have been good to us and we are getting ready to meet their boss lady.

Føpé drinks, gratefully.
I ran because I decided these folk were not to be trusted, and feared that if I rejected their request outright they would mind control me into accepting. I tried to convince you guys to come with me, because I feared for you as well, but you seemed to have your hearts set.
As it happens, they controlled me with other magical means. Stanmir used his mighty magic to bring me here against my will. And here I am.
What curse? The one Stanmir spoke of in his story, (performance: 14) "A curse has befallen our noble prince, turning him into a tyrant. We alone have the power to leave his domain. We’ve traveled far and wide to find heroes such as yourselves to end our dread lord’s curse and put his troubled soul to rest. Our leader, Madam Eva, knows all. Will you return to Barovia with us and speak with her?"
Føpé had a bit of fun with his impression of Stanmir, but of the effort has left the halfling drained. He laughs a little at himself, cringes in pain from the movement, and closes his eyes.
“Ah, Fope. Good to see that you’re up, but perhaps you shouldn’t be. You look in rough shape. Get some rest while we talk to the seer lady, and perhaps we can busy ourselves otherwise while you sleep. I’ve often been told that a good long rest can do wonders for the health. Remember, if you haven’t got your health, you haven’t got anything.”
None of us felt the same compulsion you did, but I can't deny what you experienced and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Kif helps Føpé to a more comfortable position and gives him a little food from his pack
Stanmir was the one who suggested we leave your pack for you, in case you came back to the campsite. I'm glad to see he was right. We recognized your reluctance but it sure looked like you abandoned us there...running away the way you did
Madam Eva is the one we are to talk to, she is over yonder in that tent Kif gestures broadly toward that end of the camp So now we are all in Barovia (the gates are quite the sight) and ready to speak to her. And I believe that the 3 of us are here of our own free will, or are at least going along with the flow of the river...what say you, I am not trusting anyone 100 percent, but I also believe that they are not well, to quote, 100% a dick. I want to hear their story and hopefully, even if we decline, there is some way out of this place.

If Føpé is with us I would want him to hear what Madam Eva had to say. He's been most suspicious of this whole situation and I would not make decisions for him. Is there time to get him the rest he needs, how patient is Madam Eva to hear what her foretold adventurers have to say, Føpé why do you smell of skunk?
Kif looks to his fellow adventures and also to see if any of the Visanti are about. What does he see is going on in the camp

Puddin strolls over to the slumbering Føpé and leans down. Boy, me being 'cursed' doesn't seem like it was such a bad deal. You look terrible, my halfling friend.
She reaches out and touches his arm. How 'bout we help you speed up the healing process? Puddin casts Cure Wounds: 9
Puddin examines Fope closely, worried about the little sleeping fellow. She considers healing him with magic, but decides against it, because Dov will only have intermittent internet access for the next few days. Then, for the following week, he will be in the middle of nowhere with zero internet access. I'll catch him up to you guys when he gets back. it looks like he just needs some rest. Perhaps the Visanti will let him rest here. He looks like he'll be fine, but also like he might need more than a little nap to get himself right.
Kif, the Visanti you partied with last night are busy with their equipment now, possibly preparing to head out. You see a couple of familiar faces from Stanimir's crew milling about also, and you suspect that the rest of them are in the nearby tents. They're leaving you alone, and if anybody noticed the overnight arrival of a new face, they aren't saying anything about it.

You’re still asleep. Shhhh.
Kif wanders closer to fope and checks to see if he needs medical help
Roll a Medicine check, please. You have plenty of time, so you may have advantage on the roll.
Stuck on mobile mode until later. If you would like to roll for me it’s a +1
I will.
Kif's Medicine check: 15
The whole thing looks a little unnatural. Fope does not look like he lay down to sleep here. His bed roll is still attached to his sack, and he appears to be unconscious, rather than sleeping the way the rest of the party did the night before. Despite all his wounds, though, you can also see that he is not in danger of dying from them.
Barnaby looks up from Fope’s unconscious body to Kif, “Did you see where breakfast is being served? I don’t smell bacon cooking, so that’s too bad.”
The Visanti are busy with their own affairs, and are not looking for outsiders to feed. If anybody actually wanted to know.
. . . and Fope, bruised and battered, stirs while being examined. He is awake!
Føpé opens his eyes, sore and in pain, he looks around the camp, thinks about getting up, and decides not to. The grass is really very comfortable.
Good morning. I've been looking for you guys. Any progress breaking the curse?

he turns to the others
Any idea what he is talking about?
he passes a waterskin to Føpé
Føpé drinks, gratefully.

We're all in the same flock now. ... Føpé finds a way to curl his body to minimize the pain, and nods off.
