Rapier out, Atuan dodges into the room, taking a swing at the close goblin on the right.
Attack: (advantage from Titus, though I assume he is also moving and attacking this round): 23, Damage: 5+ 6
(I'm going to assume Atuan'sright). In one swift blow, Atuanstrikes down the goblin, giving it little time to even yelp in response.
Immediately after, Bear charges in and attacks the goblin directly next to it (NW is dead now, so applying that attack to SW goblin). The goblin is severely wounded but does not fall.
Morphstrikes two of the eastern goblins, also wounding but not felling.
Lanielthen charges in, striking at the goblin to the south, followed by the one to the southeast. He will follow up with a kick at either of them if they still stand, sending it towards the middle-east goblin if they both fall.
Titus swings at the goblin to his left. If it falls, he slides forward to swing again at the remaining on (otherwise he swings again at the first one.)

The first goblin is split open with a strong strike to the clavicle. The second goblin sees him coming, however, and dodges the attack. Rethancomes charging in behind Titusto finish the job, striking at the remaining goblin three times (if needed.)

"Well, that was quick and tidy work."
Morph pats Titus on the shoulder, as he walks past, to check on the bear.
"Now now Bear, calm down, its over. Here let me have a look at your wound."
Morph examines the arrow wound, carefully extracting it.
"That's the best I can offer you I'm sorry. I can't afford to spend resources on someone who will disappear by tomorrow morning."
Morph turns to look his friends over, finding not even a scratch.
"Nicely done, it really is impressive to see you guys work your skills in combat."
Morph looks around the room, scanning for the obvious glow of magic, before checking the bodies of the goblins, giving himself guidance before doing so.
Investigation check to find anything: 19(+1d4 for guidance)

(No worries! Missing a post here or there is no cause for alarm.)
Two halves of a cloven wooden shield lie in the room’s northwest corner. Each half of the cloven shield has letters etched into it. One half reads “Nimr.” The other reads “aith.” The goblins collectively have 4 functional scimitars and [/roll[2d3[/roll] functional shortbows. Morph also piles together 17 arrows and 380 copper pieces. Nothing in the room appears to be magical. There is an exit to the south.
"Nimr...aith" intones Atuan, looking over Titus's pauldron. "Is it a name? A part of some spell? It apparently couldn't protect it's user." Atuan runs a hand along the shorn edge of the broken shield. "Perhaps we could carry this back with us? It might have some historical value - a clue to the fates of long lost adventurers in this place."
“Nimraith" says Titus as he picks up the old shield, “This thing looks to have been here for over a century, I’d like to take it for its historic value alone. And if it turns out to be a trinket, we can still hang it in the tavern.”

Lanielrounds the corner to see a room packed with goblins and bugbears. They all have their weapons drawn, with half of them facing the door and half of them facing Laniel.

Two-handed Attack: 22 Damage: 13
Kick Attack: 21 Damage: 10
The south, southeast, and middle-east goblins all fall with expert precision from Laniel's strikes.
(Rethan and Titus are up. Two goblins remain. The northeast goblin, which is slightly injured, and the southwest goblin, which is severely injured.
Titus swings at the goblin to his left. If it falls, he slides forward to swing again at the remaining on (otherwise he swings again at the first one.)

(So sorry for going dark! Had some stress with the house and moving. Won’t happen again.)
Titus examines the shield and tries to decipher what language is written upon it, and determine how long it has been here.

Vercinius Thrax: Lizardfolk Cleric - Hoard of the Dragon Queen
L’Ouverture Zinn: Kobold Sorcerer - Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage
Titus Vorenus: Dragonborn Paladin - Waterdeep: Dragon Heist
Nemean Goldenmane: Tabaxi Fighter - Lost Mine of Phandelver (Retired)
"Do we want to take all of these?"
Morph indicates the collected swords, bows and arrows. (sorry DM, but the bows, didn't roll. how many are there?)
"They're not worth a huge amount, but I have the carry capacity."
Morph pats his bag of holding.
Morph collects the coins together and divides them up.
"That's 70cp each." (that's copper, not gold)
Morph hand the coins to each of his friends.

(Oops. 4 functional shortbows.)
The shield appears to written in the common script. The skeleton and the shield have aged considerably. They must be over 100 years old.
Morph thinks to himself for moment,
"You know what, I think I will take the weapons, so no other goblins can find them and potentially use them against us later."
Morph collects the 6 Scimitar's, the 4 Shortbow's and the 24 Arrows, and puts them away in his Bag of Holding.
Walking over to Titus and Atuan, Morph asks,
"What you got there?"

"Ooww, yeah that would look great hung on the wall, the two halves slightly apart."
"Do you want me to put it in the bag of holding, or do you want to carry it?"
"We could ask Volo, if he's still around, if he knows anything about it. When we get back topside that is."
