I am a relaxed player who prefers rp over combat but I don't mind a bit of combat this is would be my second PBP campaign anyone interested in another player?
I'm also looking to play a PBP game. I like RP heavy games, but am happy to give most game-styles a crack. I'm pretty much just itching to get back into a player's chair, since I mainly DM.
D&D is a game, but it's not just a game. It's the ultimate storyboard, a campfire to share with friends, an imaginary call to imaginary arms and a ship to sail to horizons yet undreamt of...

I've been itching to play a bard for ages. I just finished creating a level 1 CG 1/2 elf (drow heritage) bard, that I can adjust as needed to suit a campaign at moment's notice, so I'm ready to go. :)

That sounds pretty sweet! Let's give the others a day or so to reply, and then we'll put together a party and see if we can drum up interest from a DM. I was hoping to play something like LMoP, what did you have in mind?
I am totally fine with whatever a DM (hoping that we can get one, since they seem to be in short supply) wants to run. I prefer epic fantasy-type games with lots of RP, and my fav setting is the Forgotten Realms, but I'm just keen to play and happy to give most anything a go. As a DM myself, I definitely fall into the "What the DM says goes" catergory of player. I'm running LMoP with the Beginners Box for my 2 youngest at the moment, so i'd rather play something different, but I'd probably still play it if that's all that was on offer.

I’m in too, if that’s okay. I haven’t played a game on here in ages and just started running one again and could use something to do while waiting for players to post.

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."
Serandis Mendaen (Aereni Elven Rogue/maybe one day Wizard)- Project Point Playtest
Hmm.., good question. I wouldn’t mind tinkering around with a Druid... it really depends on what the DM says for races and classes. Maybe an elven wizard? Goliath fighter/monk? Idk, there’s so much I want to play lol

Welcome! That's great, especially if you're willing to DM. I'm already running a handful of games, including 1 PBP, and I can't really remember the last time that I played as PC, so I'm REALLY hopefull of just being 1 of the party this time.
If you were to DM, what kind of game would you like to run? A specific published campaign or something homebrew?

I ran LMoP over Slack, so similar but not exactly PbP. I really enjoyed being able to have time to think rather than having to react like in face to face games, so that's why I came here. :)
I'd go with a published campaign for my first time out doing PbP here. I think I have all the campaigns on dndbeyond, except Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica. Anyone dying to do a specific one?
I'll whip up a character then... although i haven't bought anything through D&D beyond because i have all the books as the physical copies how might i make a character?

Hey Balonypower,
Are you still looking for a group? I am as well. Let's collect a few folks and see what we can find.
Thanks,
K

I'd be interested in joining in as well, preferably as a player but am willing to DM if no one else wants to.
